Talisman Networks

Talisman was fantastic. We recently rented a renovated two story building for our business. The internet upstairs worked fine. This morning I needed to get phone and internet working downstairs since we had a new person starting. When I went to install the Ethernet switch in the box downstairs — nothing. No connection with the switch. After trying to troubleshoot the problem myself I admitted defeat. I looked on Unilocal and found Talisman. Travis answered my call right away and after I explained my issue he was at our building an hour later. He was pleasant, friendly and explained everything in layman terms. After reviewing the unusual configuration the building had in terms of networking, he opined that the problem was a bad splice somewhere. Once he traced the cables upstairs, downstairs and through the basement it turns out that was exactly the problem. He fixed the splice and we had internet downstairs in no time at all.
I’ve worked with other networking installers who seemed to just be «winging it». I didn’t have that feeling with Travis — he understood the problem and knew how to fix it.

Talisman Networks provided top notch service very promptly. Travis came to our address to resolve some long-​standing ethernet cabling and telephony issues. He was knowledgeable, very competent, and had a great attitude. He patiently worked through the labyrinth of our existing physical networking infrastructure and cleaned up the mess in a fraction of the time and cost we expected.

I have known Talisman Networks and Travis, the CEO for about 6 years, when I called in – looking to get a competitive wiring quote for a recording studio I was building. Not only did the quote come in beyond competitive, but from the start, Mr. Almuti led the relationship not with price, but with advice. The original quote I showed him, from the top cabling firm in valley, was missing several important components that would have cost me even more in the future. Travis gave me a plan to scale into surveillance, VOIP, remote I/​0 etc… NOW-​I call Talisman first, and don’t need to make a second call.

If I could give ten stars I would but unfortunately on Unilocal we’re relegated to the normal five. Just know if there was a choice Talisman would receive at least TEN STARS if not more.
Talisman came out to survey the job. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. They took extra time to answer all my questions and offered some great recommendations beyond what I had envisioned. They also had some great ideas and I felt like Talisman was a good friend helping me figure out what’s best for me and my company.
On the day the job was scheduled, Talisman came out promptly. I was very comfortable leaving them alone to let them do their job. They worked quickly to meet my deadline and were extremely thorough and tested and retested everything to make sure things were working smoothly. They also organized and secured their wiring and even spent extra time organizing the messy cables left by Comcast and the phone company. They did such a GREAT job and best of all is my video, audio, and networking system rocks! I’m so in love with what they’ve done and it’s working excellent for my business!
I consider Talisman Networks a gem and HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them. I’ve worked with other companies before but Talisman will definitely be my choice hereon.
