My home warranty company (Fidelity National Home Warranty) contracted T&T appliance to check the broken glass ceramic top of my range. I told the technician that it was broken because of suction force as we left a lid on top of it while it was still hot. The technician examined it carefully and seem to agree with what I said. But two days later my warranty company told me they won’t cover it because they believe it was broken by impact. I called T&T and the technician told me the insurance company «asked lots of questions». He first wanted to pay me back the $ 60 diagnosis fee, and later changed his mind.
