T & H Body Shop

T&H Body Shop provided top notch customer service and was there for me when my car got into an accident. They did an amazing job to restore my car and the paint job was superb. You would have never thought my car got hit!

Long story short, I had to come here a few times because of my car getting hit and everything about this place is amazing!
Vanessa and Tom, the owners are so accommodating and extremely friendly. Their customer service is seriously the best and the quality of work and attention to detail, is just the best! Also, my car came back cleaner then when I brought it in, haha — which was so nice! Who wouldn’t love that? If you’re looking for a body shop, I definitely recommend this place any day!

Short Version: This place is THE BEST! From start to finish and everything in between. I am seriously blown away by the customer service, the quality of work and the overall attention my car and I received.
Long Version: On the day after Christmas, I was t-​boned in my Audi A4 and the damage was extensive. This was my very first accident in 10+ years of driving and of course the driver who hit me was uninsured. I had no clue where to even start with insurance, rental, getting my car fixed and everything else that comes along with an accident.
The manager of a tire shop we go to suggested that we take the car to T & H Body Shop. I did not know what to expect but I ASSUMED it would be similar to what its like when you have work done on your engine at an auto shop (feeling like you are getting scammed). I assumed wrong… BIG TIME.
My husband called the shop and Vanessa answered. He quickly explained what happened and she told him to bring it in. He also told her he was going to get a rental car before we brought it in and she told him not to worry about it and she would take care of it. I took the car in, explained what happened and told her how I desperately wanted them to fix it (if they can) instead of having my insurance total it out. She listened to me. She made me feel like everything was going to be ok. It was such a relief. She contacted my insurance and requested for them to set me up with a rental car so that they pay it up front instead of reimbursing me later. I didn’t even know that was a possibility so I am so thankful that she did that for me. After setting it up with the insurance, she contacted Enterprise for me and a driver picked me up and took me to get my rental.
Two days later I received a call from my insurance informing me that the damage was more extensive than they originally thought and they are going to have to adjust the original amount to reflect the new charges. They also told me that it was close to the amount of being totaled. I was so upset, because I love my car and we have put a lot of money into it. I went into the shop later that day to let them know what my insurance told me and Tom and Vanessa’s daughter was working. She told me that the claim adjuster was just in the shop and her and her dad explained to him that the customer (me) really wanted the car fixed instead of totaled out. They also explained to the claim adjuster that even though my car is older, it is in great condition, has low miles, and is fully loaded. These are all factors that can increase the worth of the vehicle. I was soon appreciative that they listened to me when I said I wanted it fixed and not totaled. They fought for me and my car with my insurance and did everything they could to make sure I got what I wanted. Because of them, my insurance decided to pay for it to be fixed!!!
The car needed several new/​replacement parts including a door. This meant a lot of work needed to be done, including color matching the new parts. I expected it to take several weeks, but in less than a week after the adjuster’s visit, Vanessa called me and told me the car was done! I couldn’t believe it was done that soon!
When I went to pick it up, I WAS BLOWN AWAY! It seriously looked BRAND NEW! The paint matched the rest of the car PERFECTLY. I was so happy that I started to tear up. I could not believe how well they took care of my car. THEY EVEN CLEANED THE INSIDE! I opened the door and my mats were vacuumed and it smelled amazing like right after you get your car detailed. I felt like I was picking up a brand new car! I am so thankful and cannot sing their praises enough!
P. S. I also love that this is a family run business! We need more small, family owned businesses in San Jose just like this one! They were all so friendly and nice. Every time I took my daughter in with me, they all were so sweet to her. Tom let her feed their fish, their daughter gave my daughter some candy, and Vanessa gave my daughter cups of water (my daughter loves water). They truly treat every single customer like family, even if they just met you! That is something to be proud of! This shop will definitely be our go to shop from now on for any body shop needs.

Finding a reliable and honest shop is tough – more often than not, I’m always feeling like most shops are ripping me off or offering unnecessary services for ridiculous prices. However, over the few times I’ve been to T&H Body Shop, it’s always been an amazing experience. I’ve left every time pleasantly surprised, because I can tell they were incredibly honest about the repairs I need/​should get and were very reasonable with their pricing.
I’ve worked primarily with Vanessa and Tom, who have both been absolutely wonderful. They are clearly very knowledgeable and realistic, and I can tell that they put themselves in the customers’ shoes, making sure that the customers don’t have to spend a dime over what is necessary.
In English with me and in Vietnamese with my father, they’ve really treated us like family. Beyond being very experienced and helpful, they are just generally friendly and fun people to talk to. I highly recommend T&H Body Shop if you’re looking for good prices and good service!

This is the best experience I’ve ever had with an auto body shop. Vanessa, the manager, is incredibly welcoming and you can trust they are a honest business. I’ve been to T&H about two times and they always go above and beyond just doing the business but providing the best customer service.

Fantastic body shop! Their work is flawless. Vanessa arranged everything for me starting the day I dropped off my car. She contacted the insurance, arranged my rental, and connected all the dots in between. I recommend them to all my family members. The coordination of service, insurance and payment is all taken care of from the moment you walk in. It was truly a smooth process; my car went in damaged and destroyed and came out perfect like new. Couldn’t expect anymore.

A great couple runs the store, it is sizable, and most important, they gave best solution to meet customer’s needs! I really love them!

A great mom & pop shop with incredible customer service. Went around the area for quotes on repairs for my car and this place quoted me at a competitive rate and offered great quality and speed. They finished a job elsewhere at 4 – 5 days in under 2 days and even washed my car before returning it. After the repairs I barely noticed I had a used car; the car looked as good as new.
I would definitely bring any and all other cars that need repairs to this place every time.

This place is the best. I came here for the first time when I was struck by a metal object that was thrown off an overpass. The object impacted my hood and created a gaping hole, then bounced off my hood and shattered my windshield. The owner was really helpful and did everything in a timely manner. My car was newer than new when I got it back. The second time I came here, I needed to buff out a bird drop etching. He was more than happy to help me out. Definitely coming back here for all my auto body problems.

Loved T&H and would definitely go back! I was referred to them by an insurance company after I was involved in an accident. Vanessa was awesome. She went above and beyond in service. I’ve had bad experiences in the past, but was extremely pleased this time. Not only was my car ready exactly when she said it would be, but it looks awesome. Looks just like it did before the accident, even better! If I ever need body work done again, I am definitely returning!

My car was smashed by a large rock on the windshield. It also hit the pillar. I was driving on 280 S through an overpass somewhere around Palo Alto.
I called the body shop the next day because I saw the reviews on Unilocal.I was referred to Tom and Vanessa by Thedy (He has a body shop across the street).
When I took my car there, I met Vanessa who is super friendly and takes care of stuff really fast. After I decided to get my car fixed at their shop, she immediately set me up with my insurance company to file the claim and rental car. No hassle at all!
A week later, I got my car back. When I paid for the bill, Vanessa gave me a $ 50 discount!
After all was done, I drove my car away, but the windshield’s wipers had a problem. Since I went there pretty late (around 4:45pm. They close at 5pm), it was already close when I found out about the problem. Good thing is the shop across was still open. So, I went there. I think I met Thedy. I told him about the problem and he immediately repaired it for me for no cost.
I am very glad I went to this place. I highly recommend it!

Vanessa & Tom, the owners, are great! T&H were initially recommended by my insurance company for repair but I have come back for a number of subsequent parking lot bumper issues. They do a great job and I highly recommend using them for all of your auto body repair, whether the insurance is picking up the tab or you are just paying out of pocket.

Took my car in right when they were about to close after being rear ended. Everyone-​owners, receptionist, mechanics– they were so helpful and considerate. They worked with my insurance, the other party’s insurance-​I didn’t have to deal with any of it, no headaches! They also set up my rental car with Enterprise the same night.
I just got my car back and it looks just like how I bought it last May. They were aware of my warranty, so everything they replaced are original parts, nothing used. I highly recommend this place for any type of car service.
