My battery run down overnight and couldn’t start the car in the morning. I called Sun Smog and they came to our house immediately and started the car for me. It was that easy. I really appreciate their help and can recommend them to anyone in need.

This was my second time a Sun Smog, and they did a good job. Sam has 3 mechanics working at the shop, and they did a good job on the repairs. The prices are fair, and they fixed the problems the first time. I’ve been to this place before, when it was owned by other people, but only for smog tests. Sam took over the business a few years ago, and is dedicated to making the customer happy. I’ll be bringing my car back in for smog, and repairs. It’s great to find a good repair shop near my home.

I have been bringing my acura to Sam for a couple years now, since he took over Sun Auto. He has worked on and fixed quite a few things on it since it is a 1999… I can honestly say I will not take my car anywhere else. Sam and his technicians are very knowledgeable and very thorough. He checks everything. He always talks with me about the best and cheapest way to fix my car. He explains everything very well and at the end of our conversation he gives me the total cost that is very fair. I have researched what he does and the cost and it has always been very fair. Sam is also a very good person, very polite and gets the job done quick for you. You should try him out and see for yourself!!! So glad i found him!!!

Got a nail in my tire, cost $ 15 to get a plug, quick service, checked all 4 tires and spare inflation pressure, in and out in 15 minutes. Nice!

Had an issue with the computer in my 93 land cruiser. Sam and his crew did a great job finding a used one considering the age of my car. Their price was fair and I have been driving the car since with out any issues. I would continue going there and do recommend them to others.

The previous owners of Sun Smog have apparently sold the business to new owners. I stopped by today and Sam told me that they just took over two days ago. I only went in to fix a nail in my tire and get it plugged. They quickly fixed it, and Sam could not have been nicer. Since it was a simple fix and he wanted to build goodwill as they are new, he didn’t charge me for the work (don’t expect free service in the future :)).
So although my experience was positive, all prior reviews are no longer valid with new owners. Hope the new guys match the former guys for good future reviews.

Sun Smog was awesome. I had a flat tire and called Sears auto repair to see what the wait time would be they quoted me three hours I then went to sun smog and it was done in 20 minutes and the guy was so polite and nice!
A couple of weeks later, the «low air pressure» light kept appearing on my car — we filled the tires up twice, and one day later, the light appears again. I took the car back to Sun Smog, albeit a little frustrated/​upset that I felt the hole was not repaired correctly. The guy agreed to try to patch the hole again. When I offered to pay at the end, he would not accept the payment! The second patched worked like a charm. Amazing customer service, and very honest. Will be back.

I’d give the smog certification procedure a 5 if not for the price-it’s a little higher than some others but you do get in and out really quickly giving Jerry brown his pocket change x700,000 to afford himself some decadent meals in places he should review. The one i went to was on Curnter/​McGlincy though the address on the card I took says Blossom hill! Professional, fast and not requiring of brain calories thinking or concerning yourself with what they are doing with your car-​you simply can sit in the waiting room, play with the toddler toys and watch! :)

Can’t say much about this place but great service and great price. Came in for a tune up, timing belt, basic check up since I don”t know much about cars. The guys were able to get my car in and out within 48 hours. They were a one stop shop I was able to get my smog check too unlike those other repair shops. King I believe that was his name was able to get rid of a clicking noise in the engine as well.

I recently bought a 2005 Subaru Impreza wrx and needed to get a 100,000 mile service done on it so I decided to take it here. I was immediately greeted and felt like I had known them for years. They were extremely friendly and wanted to help. I could tell that they enjoy working on cars so I felt comfortable leaving my car in their hands. I ended up getting the service done, as well as getting my axle replaced, and getting four new brakes. I am currently a student so my budget is pretty limited but they provided me with student discounts as well as having already reasonable prices. I would have to say I got the best deal and am planning on taking my car back to them every time something happens or even for a simple oil change. I would recommend going here if you are on a low budget but still want great service and great customer service.
