Dr C is a great guy. My mom has emphysema and almost died from it a few years ago. On one visit, he spent his entire lunch hour with us encouraging my mom to make some much needed changes to her life. His time and attention meant a lot to both of us.

I was very disappointed with the front office staff when trying to book an appointment for my mother. The receptionist was condescending and actively resisted making an appointment. She stated that we shouldn’t be making an appointment at this office without being referred by her PCP. I’m not sure why they want to limit patients only to PCP’s who like them. Unfortunately, she placed too many obstacles to obtaining an appointment, so I had to look elsewhere.

Best practice ever, great people and Doctor C is the best!

I came in for a sleep study. Tech name was Nixon and very knowledgeable. Very basic room but mattress was good. Room kept at about 68Deg which was great for me. The downfall was 1.) they woke me up at 6:00 just when I was getting my best sleep. 2.) I had to wait 3 weeks for the results. Oh and 3^rd. Nothing in room. good thing I brought my tablet so I could watch a movie on Netflix. Bring something to do. Wire hook up was the usual. about 26 of them. Legs, Face and Head. Also no place to shower in the morning. If you can and you have insurance, Stanford Sleep center kicks ass over this one. I wish I had known. As far as doctors go, Dr. C is an OK guy. He just needs to stay off the phone when a patient is in the office with him. He talked to his daughter in law for 20 min while I waited their for him to get off the phone. Quite Rude. Office staff in very helpful. Overall they did the job. Id give them a 7.5 out of 10 (better rating system than stars).

I have been seeing Dr. Karupayah as my doctor for about a year now.
I’m kind of split right now on whether I actually like this place or not.
They were able to successfully diagnose me with sleep apnia and were happy to hand me the bills for it.
It seems like this place is really about making money. From over hearing their conversations it seems like they send everyone for a sleep study.
The sleep study was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I don’t understand how they expect people to sleep with 100 wires taped to them and no TV or any stimulus in the sleep room?
Another day I came in sick and one of the other older doctors saw me (Choslovsky). He did not want to give me the medicine I was seeking for my cold giving me the usual excuse when my other doctor gives me whatever I ask for.
As I said, I’m split on this place so I’m giving it 3 stars.
