Went here the other day for gas asked cashier for key to restroom (clueless look) then said I needed to buy something I showed him I was getting gas and still wanted proof I was buying something I told him forget it and walked out he followed me yelling it was the owners police not his
My opinion stay clear move on to the next gas station

I pulled off of 880 after only being able to get up to 40 mph on the freeway after some traffic cleared up, with smoke coming from my back wheels this last Saturday. I happened to exit right at this service station. What luck! I limped in and one of the guys said he would take a look at my car as soon as he could, the brakes needed to cool off first.
Half an hour later he had taken off my rear wheels and said the calipers had clenched and the brake pads had engaged the rotors while driving. They recommended replace the calipers, pads and rotors… but it’s a Saturday afternoon and I’m no where near home or my destination. The owner’s dad went out to pick up the parts and they had me on the road again in a couple hours. The price was fair and they were quick and respectful.
Let’s face it, they could have taken advantage of me. They could have just told me that they didn’t have the time, afterall, there were plenty of vehicles there being worked on. They did the fair and respectable thing and I appreciate them for that.

this gas station gets ZERO stars. i couldn’t post this without a star! they are NOT deserving of even one…they are rude everytime!!! I’ve had nothing but rude, incompetent and just straight lazy people working there. never a friendly «hi» or «can i help u?», definitely not a smile, they are miserable people. zero customer service. they should take a class in hospitality. hmmm, why would i go back…

I get my oil change and car tune UPS here often. Great mechanics to work with and super friendly.

This station is really expensive. It’s about $.20 more than the average in San Jose. The only reason why I go here because it’s right off the freeway on my way to Santa Clara University. I have only gotten gas here so I can’t contest the rest of their services. I do have to say that the other customers getting gas here are really nice. They will help you back up your car. I have always ran into really friendly people. Only thing that could make this station better is if they would lower their prices.

Go to another has station RUDE! Clerk & charged me $ 5.50 for bottled water. Come one… Someone needed ca$h. I ended up watching another elderly lady go in there to have her teen grandson ask for air so she could blow her tires up. This clerk charged her $ 20 dollars. At this point I confronted him and told him that as of date, the law states if you purchase gas, you are entitled to FREE air & water for your car.

I have been treated rudely on two separate occasions by evening cashiers but I go back here because its convenient… whatever, I’d be cranky too if I were working the night shift at a gas station.
The garage here is operated independently and I have had a NIGHTMARE experience on two separate occasions. They don’t speak english well, I’m guessing the boss Manny has got a serious case of ADHD because he can not pay attention to one thing or a conversation for more than 30 seconds and you always end up following him around the place trying to conclude your discussion. He is VERY evasive about pretty much everything you want to know when getting your car worked on. They won’t give written estimates when asked, they always jack up the price when you go to get your car and they are generally shady. I DO NOT RECOMMEND dealing with them unless you absolutely have no options and be very cautious when doing so. Today I am towing my vehicle elsewhere since they have left it on the street for four days and done NOTHING! Crazy…

This place is great for any of your service needs, because the customer service here is awesome and the prices for repair are really reasonable… Came in here because the AC on my car wasn’t working. They offer AC freon refill but while refilling they noticed there was a slight leak and that’s why the AC stopped working hence I needed a new AC hose… o shoot am I about to get screwed here?!?
Nope the service shop staff was really nice and ordered me a AC hose far below what I could have got it for, the labor they charged was hardly anything at all, they even wasted extra freon of their own to notice the leak, they replaced the hose, filled the car with freon, and my car was shooting out ice cold air… I was quoted $ 80 at another place for just freon fill up, I spent less than that here and my hose got replaced… I am definitely coming here for all my car repairs as they don’t try to rip you off and also offer other car services from brake jobs to smog checks… you got CAR TROUBLE come here!!!

I live close to this gas station — I never buy gas here I go up a little further and purchase it at Rotten Robbie because it is typically .10 cheaper a gallon.
I usually just run up here for a quick snack or drink when I feel like being hosed. Generally it is when it is super hot and I am being super lazy.
There are also a lot of creepers that hang out around there too.

My neighborhood gas station, price is surprisingly reasonable for it being a Shell, and for being right next for the freeway entrance. There’s also a autoshop here that does basic repairs.

Waaaay overpriced gas — usually $.10/​gallon more than the Rotten Robbie just down Newhall. I think because it’s the closest gas station to the freeway (880), they think they can overcharge just for convenience.

I’m not a mechanic so I can’t really vouch for Manny’s expertise but what I can do is relay the things I do know. The service they provide goes over and above the average place. They will find someone there who will drive you home while your car is being worked on as well as return your car right to your front door. I told him that I needed to do some errands so he offered his own car for me to use. That’s a rarity. Once I had a tire that was somewhat low so he checked to see by chance if there was a nail in it and of course there was and he got right down on the ground and took the nail out at NO charge. He could have easily ignored it since I hadn’t mentioned anything about my tire being low. It was just something he noticed. These kind of nicities are generally found only at maybe a Lexus dealership that also does repairs. The owner, Matt, whom I’ve met on many occasions runs a very honest shop so I can’t believe Manny would be deceiving any customers as another Unilocaler had insinuated. I haven’t taken my car to have it evaluated by another mechanic to verify his work but the work that he has done thus far for me has been good. I truly recommend this place and I believe if you do have a discrepency for one reason or another I believe that they will do their very best to resolve the problem. That’s just the way they are.
