Went in late on a Sunday to pick up a car from these guys and ya boy juan helped us out and got all the stuff we needed in record time (compared to the other sheldons) and on our way to havin fun!

Yay! Finally a well-​stocked shop that supports all of my RC hobby! All the building stuff, odd and ends, nick-​knacks and gizmos for RC aircraft is here. The Wall of Traxxas Parts is impressive. I like the Estes Model Rocketry section too — plenty of kits and engines in stock. Good selection of raw materials for all kinds of light fabricating. Tools too, batteries and fuel — and I am soooo happy they are in my neighborhood! Great selection of Drones too! The pricing is pleasant too — nothing I saw in the ‘jacked up’ range, mostly in the normal retail, or even low retail. Plenty of expertise there too — I can pretty much get any RC question answered. Again, Yay!

My young son had received a drone as a gift. He started receiving an error and the online forums suggested we may need to replace the sensors. We had noticed Sheldon’s when going to Aqui one day.
We’d gone in one day after dinner at Aqui and discussed the issue with someone but didn’t have the drone with us. So when we went back with the drone, we walked in and waited for two lazy late teen/​early 20s kids to sigh as they had to get off their lazy a — - and help us.
We described the error and told them we were in a week ago and that person said you sell sensors and could help us if we have the drone with us.” — This kid replied «uhhh, you sure it was here?» No, I must have been at Jamba Juice, you’re right. Dummy. So we told him what we’d read online. «Do you sell the sensors?» The kid had the deer in headlights look. Asks the other lazy guy who was still basking in the glow of victory of not having to be the one to have to stand up and help us. They were zero help and couldn’t wait to get rid of us so they could not put the wear and tear on their out of shape legs. Two dummies. Horrible service. These 5 star reviews are clearly staged by Sheldon’s friends. If you shop here as a consumer, you have poor judgement and no self-​respect.

I came to the store looking for a kite for my son. We ended up walking out with a drone and a helicopter. Great service and selection of remote-​controlled toys here. Highly recommended!

It is terrific to have a hobby shop back in south San Jose. This is a terrific full service hobby shop. While the main focus is RC, there is also good selection of plastic models and the prices are good. They also have Tamiya acrylic paint and a good selection of their spray paint cans. There is also a good selection of tools and airbrushes. My only suggestion would be to add some armor model kits since they are quite popular with modelers.

RC cars, hobbies they have a great selection in south San Jose next to Aqui’s. The new place is super clean and customer service is on point. My daughter loves this place. 5 stars all the way…

Used to drive 20mins to the Trade Zone location but with this just new location, it’s just 5 mins. Very clean store. Helpful staff.

This location is a lot more convenient for me. It’s located in the plaza where Aqui’s and Togos is off of Snell. It’s clean and they have a fun and friendly atmosphere :) will definitely be coming back! They also carry drones which is another plus!

one great hobby shop, now it closer to my house, they had every thing i needed. and there prices where right on the mony. i think ill give them a 5 star i highly recommend sheldons, one of the last true hobby shops

Great place! I go to that shopping center all the time and when I visited the store I thought it is just what we needed. The first thing I wanted to check out was their drones and they happened to have a demo flying around the store. They have drones as small as my fist and also bigger ones for more experienced flyers.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Overall, great place.
