Eww just brought home an order pad Thai it smelled and tasted like throw up. I’ve eaten at ruby Thai several times before. Without issue this just killed it. Such a waste of money.

I guess I’m one of the ones that like this place. I have never tried this place before but figured why not. I usually go to panda, sarku, or buckhorn grill. Anyways while on my way to buckhorn grill I pass Ruby Thai chicken and what caught my eye was the mango chicken. I haven’t had pad Thai in while so that also helped my decision. Pad Thai is extra and I also wanted to try the bang bang shrimp. One word WOW! The shrimp is friggin’ fantastic!!! The mango chicken is also pretty good. The pad Thai was a little above average in my opinion. I’ll be back next time to try the grilled or spicy grilled chicken.

I have eaten here many other times and had no problems but as time goes by the have gotten worse and worse. Apparently my wife, my mother in law, 4 kids and baby. All got food poisoning from eating there Also a friend of mine too that eat at the same time with us got food poisoning. I would proceed with CAUTION

Ruby Thai wins my money when it’s lunch time soley because the service is always friendly. Working in the mall there is plenty of choices to eat at. Ruby Thai employees are always saying hello with a smile. Always friendly. Making me feel welcome will win me over when I know the food is decent. Thank you Ruby Thai for coming to Oakridge Mall!

Not recommended, Rude employees, very poor service, misery of quality and taste. Yes I totally agree can food is the perfect description. Honestly is it me or all Asian are very very very cheap when becomes to service in restaurants, No napkins, No refills, No extra sauce, etcétera. really want to think I might be the only having bad experience with them all over the world. I LOVEASIANFOODDON’T GETMEWRONGBUT their service is pretty below poor standards :-(

The food here is so good! They really hook you with meat entrees here; unlike Panda Express haha… The prices on the food is not too bad either. I don’t eat Thai food too often so I have no idea how authentic Thai food should taste like but Ruby Thai is definitely tasty!

I like Ruby Thai. I usually go to valley fair but this is closer to home so we decided to try it. It was OK, not the best I’ve ever had but OK. I’ll give it another chance. I usually get the mango chicken, grilled chicken and pad Thai. My big issue here is that the Ruby Thai employee and the Sarku employee were having some sort of hawking contest to see who could get the most customers into their stand. They were actually yelling across the food court at customers! I came here to actually eat my dinner and enjoy it not listen to a hawker. If thus continues I will take my business elsewhere. So tacky.

Food was okay but appreciated the customer service! Thanks! Food 3⁄5 Pad Thai doesn’t taste like pad Thai. Very ketchupy and less than mediocre. Really enjoyed the mango chicken and lemon pepper chicken though. Service 5⁄5 Great. Very passionate group of people. Not too pushy

Terrible people and bad service. I was standing by the counter trying to decide what I wanted. The older lady was giving out samples behind me backed up into me. She then turned around and yelled at me to watch where I was going. Needless to say I will never buy anything from them at this location if that’s how I am going to be treated. I instead went to Buckhorn Grill next door

I should have ordered more protein for a 2-entrée here! Stumbled upon this place randomly and realized later that it was part of the«hot and new» on Unilocal. The place seems pretty busy and is in direct competition with Panda Express right adjacent to here. The food was good but portion was a bit on the small side, so I recommend ordering 2 entrees(both with meat) cause I got one side of all vegetables and was a little under satisfied with my meal. They let you sample whatever you want here and there is a LOT more variety than the Japanese place in the corner. I never eat there cause their food options are too limited I think. I mean the food here is pretty fresh and likely better than what you might get at some actual local Thai restaurants that serve dry meat.

I was sampling some of their dishes on display and I’ll tell you this everything I sampled tasted old, stale, and like it has been sitting out all day unrefrigerated. I got the cup of lemon pepper chicken because the spices and flavors are actually decent but their chicken taste old and stale.

Besides the pushier customer service for upsell, the food and price are actually decent if you are craving Thai… Will come again for sure!

WOW! So we were at Starbucks deciding what we’ll be having for lunch and my fiancé picked out Ruby Thai Kitchen. We’ve never been there and it’s been at the food court for a while. Good thing we didn’t find out about this place earlier because I’d gain so much weight! Their food is of great quality and it’s not salty or greasy, which is perfect. It’s a great cheat meal and tastes great! I got their two item menu with chow mein, eggplant tofu, and grilled chicken. All entrees were excellent and of great quality which is very important to me. It definitely is better than Panda Express. Give it a try! You won’t regret it!

Great food for a fast food place. This is the Oakridge Mall location and they just opened. A lady was giving out samples of the mango chicken, which was sweet and delicious but one of the least spicy items on the menu. This had sections of food, much like Panda Express but with significantly fewer items. The vast majority are chicken, and almost all of them have the pepper designation indicating spiciness. But not to worry — it’s not really that spicy, and they supply Sriracha if you need more heat. Currently it is $ 5.99 for 1 item plus noodle or rice or $ 6.99 for 2 item plus rice or noodle. I had the noodle and the yellow curry chicken and the beef dish(forgot the name!). The yellow curry chicken is delicious, with tender white meat and tasty spicy yellow sauce. The beef was good but not quite as flavorful and the noodles were thick and sweet with a touch of basil — basil is big in Thai cooking. Good amount of food, too. if you get seafood, it is $ 1.50 extra. Great value for a food court meal.
