RPM Exterminators

I called RPM Exterminators asking for some advice regarding flying ants. After I spoke with Mike at RPM Exterminators, he asked me to text him some photos of the insects. Within 1 hour, he called me back after consulting his technicians and told me that they were gnats not ants. He then proceeded to teach me what to do to get rid of them myself.
Mike is an honest, down-​to-​earth merchant in providing good services. I did not have to pay Mike anything, and he just proceeded to teach me how to get rid of my problems as he said he did not want to waste my money coming out for something I could fix myself. Needless to say, I trust this kind of merchant very much and would come back to Mike for all future pest removal needs! Highly recommended for their great service and honest attitude!

I don’t remember if it was Keith or Paul. But the guy was super nice. Nicest pest control service person I’ve ever had and one of the top 10 service people that has ever visited my house. Too nice which can make it a bit awkward. But that is besides the point. He did a good job. He sprayed the outside and garage like I wanted him to and I haven’t seen any bugs. May be a challenge to get an appointment with him at the time you would prefer, but I like the fact that he can work around schedules and doesn’t require a stupid annual contract like the other guys. Like really? I don’t need a contract. I’ll call you when I need you.

Excellent first experience – Mike returned my call promptly in response to an attic pest issue and suggested I get my trees trimmed first to see if the problem would go away. Took the time to explain the options and said he would come out if that didn’t fix the problem. Not simply trying to win business.

We had a problem with mice. These guys sent someone to look at the place. They came and told us all the places they could be coming in from, and told us how we could fix the problem on our own to save the money. We followed the instructions, and dont have mice anymore. Very impressed with their service.

Paul is the greatest! In addition to being extremely knowledgeable and readily sharing what he knows he is very flexible and giving of his time. Thinking I had bed bugs I was freaking out! Paul made the extra effort to stop by to inspect my home after his work day on a Friday night. He was tired, hungry and ready to relax, but he was thoughtful enough to go the extra mile because he clearly understands how stressful the unknown is with bugs. Thankfully for me he didn’t think they were bed bugs but fleas, but he shared his knowledge and suggestions I could do myself to rid myself of the problem. I can’t express my appreciation enough for his thoughtfulness. Was an awesome experience as talking to him is interesting in and of itself. Thanks so much!

I have been with this company for almost 10 years. I started with them because the house we bought had black widows in the garage and I had small children. Bill is our guy. Over the years they have helped me with wasps and ants and spiders. They are always professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. Thank you!

Great company that treats you right. I had a rat and John came by to take a look. What impressed me the most was that he felt mine was minor and gave me guidance how I could catch it on my own! He even helped set the traps and sure enough, I caught the rat. If I ever need more professional service, it will be with RPM.

I called these guys to help me assess a filthy old storage unit that had some nice furniture in it. Mike spent a good 15 – 20 minutes on the phone with me, across a couple calls, giving me clear advice on how to handle (or not worry about) the potential pests, droppings, etc that I might find in there. I was never a real customer, but a consultation with no rush and a smile was great

This is just a review on customer service practice. Found cockroaches at my new home and called up these guys. They responded in a very timely way and told me they were all booked up until next week but knew that I must have been very concerned about the bugs (read «freaking out» :-) They actually gave me the phone of another reputable pest control company (that will be coming by in a couple days). I am so impressed that these guys are more worried about me than making that extra buck! Good people!

The entire experience with RPM has been seamless and SUPER EASY! John is really the best! His level of customer service is amazing! He follows up, he answers questions, he arrives when he says he will, he calls if there is a problem, really, one of the best home service providers we have ever worked with. I would highly recommend him (and already have to friends) and his company!

We knew we had some rats in the crawl space and decided to get professional help. When Paul came and inspected our house, we could tell right way he is very knowledgeable & professional. He pointed out all the possible routes & places the rats could have entered into the house. He explained to us how he would get rid of them, by trapping, not poison and why (it’s a long story). We decided to go with Paul on the spot. Right way, he fixed up all the broken/​weak vent screen and put 3 snap traps each in the crawl space and attic.
4 days later, Paul came and found 2 dead rats caught by the trap. As shown in the photos below, they were pretty large rats and managed to drag the trap back to their nest, even after they got snapped right at the neck. Paul had to put on his suit and craw under the house to retrieve them. After the first catch, Paul came 3 more times to make sure the rats are all gone. It appears so since the traps are empty now.
I strongly recommend RPM & especially Paul. He is a perfectionist.

Fit us into their schedule quickly, came right on time, very friendly, great communication, excellent service, and very reasonable price. Even saved us money by telling us that we didn’t need to service certain areas. What more can you ask for?! We will be using them again in the future!

I’ve been with an unnamed company for at least 2 yrs to assist in tackling my ant problem. After 2 yrs of being frustrated and annoyed that my ant problem is just getting worse, I decided to go with RPM. It was through a referral and thought what the heck…
The owner, Keith, scheduled and appointment with us, was on time, was very knowledgeable and friendly. When he completed his work, he told us he found at least 5 ant colonies that were in plain sight. He treated every aspect of home and yard, not just the perimeter. I haven’t had a single ant surface since he was there. I’m completely sold!

I accidentally posted this under the wrong company… I used RPM in April. Here’s my review:
Keith is awesome! I spotted a couple cockroaches in my (very clean) kitchen. Put a call into RPM yesterday and they came out today. Keith told me they were German roaches which get brought in typically with packaged foods that you buy at the store. Apparently they love the cardboard and the glue that seals the lid down. He did a full treat inside my kitchen and then did an additional treatment on the outside perimeter of our house for oriental roaches that come from the sewers. I had mentioned we also thought we had heard a rat in our attic a few months back, but we looked and looked and were unable to find any access holes. He did a quick walk around of the exterior of our home and within a few minutes found the access point and offered to screen it for us free of charge. Oh, and while he was leaving, he spotted some ant hills in the crack of our driveway, went to his truck, grabbed some pesticide and treated that as well! I would HIGHLY recommend Keith and RPM for all of your extermination needs! If we could give them 10 STARS we would!!!

I called RPM Exterminators on a hot Friday afternoon about several wasp nests that I found forming around the perimeter of our home. The head office indicated they were booked for the day but would reach out to their crew in the area to see if anyone could take the job. I received a call from Keith 10 minutes later that he was close enough to fit us in.
He showed up within 20 minutes and walked the perimeter of the house with me as I pointed out the hives I had found. He made some recommendations that all seemed sound, noticed some additional spider webs around the house that he indicated looked like black widow webs and said he would address those for me as well. In addition to the hives I pointed out, he sprayed around the perimeter of the house, underneath the fence line too as he explained it to be a spot that wasps tend to gravitate too. No extra charge for the spiders or extra areas he covered. Keith took time to explain what to expect over the next couple hours, next couple days, etc.

We found bed bugs in our rental and Paul came the same day, on his own time, to put our minds at ease with an examination and next step suggestions. He was very considerate and extremely knowledgable. He made the process a lot smoother for us than it could have been. He went above and beyond and really took a personal interest in our well being. I cannot recommend them enough!

I called them because we thought we had bed bugs in one of our bedrooms. Paul came over the next day and did a thorough inspection and said he didn’t find any evidence of bed bugs and suggested we call a company that uses dogs to look for bed bugs. He didn’t try to scare me into getting treatment done and was very honest with his analysis.

This review is specifically for Paul.
Anyone that’s had a bedbug scare can attest to the fact that the experience is a NIGHTMARE. I called several companies, before luckily finding Paul, and was put off by their methodology (basically just throwing all my belongings on the floor and using heaters to bake my house to 300 degrees to kill the bugs. Yeah, no thanks!). Many companies, I sensed, also seemed to have a lack of genuine concern for me as the customer. Hey, I know it’s not your job to hold my hand and make me feel better about life, but it certainly makes all the difference and almost makes me happy to pay my bill when they do!
Enter Paul. Let me tell you, speaking to someone like Paul about a subject as distressing as bedbugs is a godsend. It was like finding a safe island in the middle of a chaotic storm. Not only is it extremely apparent how knowledgeable he is, but he stayed on the phone with me for over an hour, patiently listening to and answering the slew of hyper, desperate questions I flung at him frantically, one after the other. He never once made me feel rushed in the least and was informative and understanding.
Inspection: I didn’t know exterminators worked this late, maybe it’s just Paul, but he came to my house as promised at around 8 at night. I really appreciated that because I know he must be a busy man. Nonetheless, he made me feel right at ease as he went about his work. He was extremely meticulous and checked every millimeter of my bed and surrounding area thoroughly. As he was doing this, he managed to maintain an entertaining conversation and lightened my mood and made me chuckle in spite of myself. He was a total pleasure to be around and made me feel better about everything, while also being professional and realistic. I am probably Paul’s biggest fan.
Okay, one more thing about Paul: I had a question this Saturday and sent him a text, not expecting a reply until Monday. But he surprised me with excellent service once more by CALLING me back promptly on his day off and spending yet another frantic hour with on the phone with me. You just don’t find service like this anywhere.
It is obvious that Paul is the master of what he does and I cannot say enough good things about him.
