Dance rock is what you’ll get here! Rock Solid (finalists in KFOX’s Last Band Standing 2010) is a high-​energy band, with a great driving beat. We span the range of classic rock, blues and some more mellow songs: Rock Solid delivers the musical sounds that audiences love to dance to.

We will add the unique sound of great, live music to your next event or party!

History

Established in 2007.

With over 100 years collectively of both professional and part-​time playing and singing, the members of Rock Solid have a solid background of playing the music they and their audiences love. Focusing mostly on the rock classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s, they will add a fun, dance vibe to your next party!

Meet the Business Owner

Chris G.

Business Owner

Chris: guitar, vocals: I played classic guitar at age 8, but moved onto rock. As a session musician in college, I played with many English bands of the 60’s & 70’s.

Marc: lead vocals, guitar: I’ve played guitar since age 8. I cut my teeth on the Sunset Strip in the 80’s in a band called Refugee, playing at the Whisky a Go Go & The Roxy. Influences are mainly classic rock & I enjoy blues, R&B, funk & jazz.

Don: bass, vocals: I enjoy blues, rock, jazz, latin, funk. The 60’s & 70’s set my musical foundation. Lessons led to the bass when friends needed someone to hold the melody & percussion together.

Becki: keyboards, vocals: I majored in music & won first place in a Jazz Festival with my original music. I traveled the western US, playing in top bands. I love rock & roll, but my favorite female artist is Bonnie Raitt.

Steve: percussion: I played percussion at school in classical scores. I moved to stageband, with drumset playing. I joined friends & played clubs with many local bands.
