What can we say… Ric Bareng (Kuya) did it again. He went above and beyond to help sell our townhouse in Emeryville. He was willing to cover any territory throughout Cali. He was dedicated, honest and always kept us abreast of the sale status throughout the entire process. There were no surprises as we always knew what to expect. We ran into Ric at an open house in September. At that time, we had no real intent to make any home purchase. We just wanted to familiarize ourselves with the market. Unexpectedly, we ran into something that we just loved the following weekend. With a fast approaching deadline, we called Ric short notice and asked him to be our agent. He quickly agreed, met with us that evening, and had all the research done for us within 4 hours. He was phenomenal in his preparation.
While we did get beat on the first property, Ric stayed relentless. He proposed to go door to door in the neighborhood to gauge interest of other potential sellers. Eventually, he found one and worked with us in the same diligent manner to help us secure the house.
As first time home purchasers, we truly valued how Ric was able to walk us through the entire purchasing process without being too overbearing. He was considerate of our time and met with us at odd hours to show us homes that we saw on Zillow and Redfin. He did not bombard us with phone calls and e-​mails until he had done all the research regarding the property and our budget. He explained all the disclosures, was able to recommend contractors, and highlighted key things to look for throughout each home showing. Ric was amazing.
We just received the keys to our home officially this week. Despite the home purchasing process being over, Ric is still in contact with us and letting us know that we can use him as a resource for home cleaning, remodeling, and repair recommendations. We definitely recommend him to everyone who is in search of a new home.
