The front desk person didn’t help me or answer my questions.

I can’t believe this place. Nearby a big hospital and surrounded by many doctor offices and just 1 person working here. The place isn’t busy but I’m waiting for 1 hour and just 3 people had have their test done.
Usually go to one on San Jose where they barely speak English but I don’t have to waste my time waiting. Will never come back and I’ll spread the voice about the poor efficiency of the attention here.
Will be faster to go to farther location.
I don’t blame the working person. She is going her best. But the franchise/​corporation owner of this location has no clue about managing a health facility.

Got here just before closing time. Was in and out in 10 minutes; I was the only one there.

Took my 9 yr old son and 8:30am and we waited an hour and a half with only 2 people ahead of us — mind you was fasting too! The staff was ULTRA slow at everything. And when he finally was seen the person drawing his blood took about 7 mins to tie the arm band, get the vials, and insert the needle all while my son was screaming because it was a dry and non nurturing atmosphere. He is normally a very mellow kid but they had no kid skills and their skills to draw blood in a timely fashion was incompetent. Will not go to this Quest ever again! After we left I was able to calm him down quickly but his first experience with drawing blood could have been much better.

No one likes to get labs done & get pricked but if you don’t want to waste time getting it then this is the location for you. I went to the location on Di Salvo near O’conner Hospital first and there was wall to wall of people. Wait time with appt is over 1hr and without would be nearly 2hrs. After signing in, I waited less than 10 minutes at this location and was serviced right away. The lab tech who pricked me was good as there was no bruising on my arm afterwards.

Well, this is my first review ever but I figured it would be useful.
I waited 1hr 15 minutes, there were only 3 patients when I walked in so I figured it would not take long…
The staff just plainly ignored patients walking in. The sign states «wait here» in front of counter, but you are supposed to read minds and sign up on the sign up sheet and sit down.
The staff never made an attempt to tell patients about the long wait because we have nothing better to do than wait.
After 1hr 15 min wait I was asked for my lab slip. My mistake is that I did not realize that my new doctor uses a different lab!
The office manager offered no apology wrt the wait or the fact that the staff completely ignores patients. I will not set foot in that establishment ever again!

Lonnng waits and consistently messes up billing. Find another location…

Aweful. Long wait times (45min-​1hr+). Terrible technicians who cause week long bruising and have a pissy attitude to boot.

Linda is the most unfriendly person you could ever meet. I was a couple of minutes late and she made it known to everyone in the waiting room and that she was going to punish me for it. There isn’t a single time that I have come in that she has been pleasant. She’s does power trips on everybody, is rude in front of others and should quit her job. Isn’t this a people orientated business?

Avoid this location at all cost! I came here to get blood drawn as part of my bloodwork for pregnancy and it was a horrible experience from the start. I walked in with my husband and there was a blonde nurse who was extremely rude. We did not know we needed to make an appointment, so we just walked in and were the only ones there. She spoke and looked at us so mean. She also kept yelling at another older asian gentleman from the front lobby. I am already terrified to get my blood drawn and this made the situation extremely worse. Thank god she was not the one who drew my blood. I HIGHLY recommend going to the location at 15 066 Los Gatos Almaden Road, #1, Los Gatos, CA 95 032. The nurse there was very friendly (and also said she gets a lot of complaints about this location).

Last minute, blood/​urine test. Gross I know, but just being honest.
Pretty quick. Staff got me out within 15 minutes with the amount of people they had. All older folks I might add.

— No direction on what to really do or where to go (just finger pointing), but it’s common sense, right? But sometimes common sense isn’t known.
— When it was my turn, guy (same guy) was really nice to me and started a conversation. I don’t know what to really say, about bipolar people? Just kidding.

Experience: Upon arriving (exactly around 10am), there were several guests waiting to be seen (2 – 3 individuals) and I was skeptical whether I would be seen before the «walk-​ins» waiting. The two chatty female staff members did not greet or speak to entering patients, but walked off and left the front desk unattended.
Fortunately, what seemed like the only male technician assisted me within 5 minutes from my arrival. The whole process was quick, efficient and friendly. The only downside from my visit was the visual difference in the amount of people in the waiting room from when I went in. From 2 – 3 individuals to all the seats filled with children sitting on the floor. Certainly fortunate enough to visit during their downtime and be in & out within an hour.
My advice: Make an appointment before your visit. Also, good luck to anyone needing to visit this location of Quest Diagnostics.

Poorly managed lab. There is no one working the desk and it takes about 15 minutes per patient to be seen. I was the 8^th on the list and was about a 1hr 45 minute wait. Phones keep ringing and many people were just leaving. Once I was finally called, all the lab techs have been nice and know what they are doing. The front of the house is just a mess though. What a waste of an afternoon for a simple blood draw

understaffed, long waits, but in the last year or two other local Quest draw centers are equally awful and overcrowded as they try and save money to accomodate lower insurance reimbursements. The better centers have shut down. TV loudly blasting on an inane station screeching cooking and comedy chit chat in the waiting room whether you want to hear it or not
I would be happy to pay a premium markup to a lab that would see me on time, get my blood without a giant bruise, and maintain a quiet comfortable environment, but apparently that is forbidden if I want to keep my insurance (it is all or none)
Sick people line up because they have to, no choice.

This place was well let’s be nice freakin rediculous ! took my dad there he is 84 years old the receptionist was soo not caring at all if I could have gave her an attitude adjustment I would’ve! the only reason they got 1 star because the girl who drew his blood was excellent INS or not he will never go there again…

If you can go to another lab I would highly suggest it. I went in one day and the wait was over 40 minutes (I didn’t stay because with 10 people in the waiting room, I thought it would be over 40 minutes. The staff said to make an appointment and then I’d get right in. I made an appointment for 8:30am (showed up at 8:34) along with a walk-​in. They took the walk in before they took me and I was there for almost 30 minutes past my appointment before I was seen. The technician was good and friendly and did a professional job — but the front office desk help is chatty and not friendly at all.

Terrible! It takes 1 minute for a routine draw, yet they have everyone waiting for 1 hour before they call you. This is my second time here, same thing each time. They take 1 person in every 18 minutes. In the meantime, the workers who do the draws, sit and talk at the desk. They have zero regard for people’s time. I gave two stars only because they didn’t make a mistake with the draw.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could.
Never ever go there as they have a horrible nurse named Linda Cornejo, who is totally unprofessional and rude. I decided to pick this specific location because it was right across the street from my doctor’s office, but that was the worst decision I’ve ever made! I started feeling nervous when she was going through my papers: I simply got scared of the way she talked to me and my only thought was «hopefully she’s not gonna draw my blood». That turned out to be false :(.
It was so painful that everything went dark before my eyes and I almost lost consciousness. Note that I’m not a person who can’t handle pain, I have my blood test taken every 4 months and now when I’m pregnant I have to do it every month, so it wasn’t just my sensitivity — it was just Linda’s negligence and carelessness. Even if she were the only person on Earth who could draw blood, I would rather die than go to her again!
And one more thing — she’s got really long fake nails that look disgusting for a nurse!
I would suggest Quest Diagnostics to fire her, so that they could get not only better ratings but satisfied and happy clients. I think happy clients is the best reward for such kind of business, because some people that come here are already in physical pain, and they don’t want to be in even greater pain let alone become mentally ill after meeting Linda!

I went onto their website to make an appointment. They weren’t able to give me any times that were convenient for me so I made one for 9am, which is not when I wanted to come in.
I showed up exactly on time for my appointment. They made me sit in the waiting room for a half hour while they took 5 walk-​in patients ahead of me (people with no appointments).
When they finally got around to calling my name, they told me that I was supposed to fast for 12 hours and I’d have to come back. Nobody ever told me that I was supposed to fast. The doctors orders say nothing about fasting.
When I pointed out that I had a 9am appointment, the nurse was very rude to me and told me that I should have told them that I had an appointment. The problem is they never asked if I had an appointment and made me sign in on a paper. I assumed they knew I had an appointment since I went through the trouble of making an appointment through their computer system.
This is the second time I’ve been to a Quest diagnostics, and both times they fucked up my appointment.
I will never come back to a Quest diagnostic after this. The incompetent bitch nurses treat their patients like assholes, and if they can’t handle something as simple as making an appointment, I sure as hell don’t trust them to put a needle in my arm.

Ever had a lab lose your blood sample? I haven’t … until I came here. I’m an obstetrics patient with the Los Olivos Women’s Group. Los Olivos has a Hunters lab on site but because Hunter Labs isn’t within my insurance network, I had to come here for my 2 hour glucose tolerance test. This is a rather grueling blood test involving a 12 hour fast followed by ingesting a shockingly sweet 75g sugar/​8oz solution and 3 blood draws within a 2 hour period. Like most people, I only have two arms so this means two stabs to the same arm. I had to do a blood hemocrit test the same day so that means two pricks per arm and yes, it definitely stings the second time around.
So I do all this, nearly pass out from the shock of the sugar solution and a week later, I get the call that the main lab «lost» my 2 hour blood sample. After some back and forth with the lab and my doctor, I’m asked to come in the next day to do the whole thing again. This time I end up spending the full 2 hours lying in the back room trying to suppress the urge to vomit, which I succeed at until the test is over. But it was just too gross and I threw up in the bathroom anyway.
All in all a horrible experience.
