Very unpleasant first call. The lady said she could not give me a rough estimate and after I said thank you have a nice day, she hung up on me. Needless to say they will not be getting my business.

Everything was well explained by Ross days before the fumigation work. I was on a 7-​day business trip when PTS team came to perform the work. They took good care of everything. I didn’t need to watch them doing the work, They are certainly accountable.

PTS was great! They started on time and explained everything they had to do in detail. Their price was very competitive and we enjoyed working with our inspector Jim.

Company was terrific to work with. We did everything over the phone so I never has to leave work. Their price was ½ as much as their competitors as I got 2 other quotes. They were able to come in on a Friday and I was able to enter the home by Monday. A+ service!

I just had an horrible inspection by Brendan Souza from Proven Termite. He just looked at the garden and the outside of the building. Didn’t even bother to check the roof and garage area, and the only solution he offered is doing a tent fumigation. When I asked a few questions and concerns, he didn’t even bother to answer my questions, simply said I don’t want to do business with you and left. What kind of altitude is this? Brendan is extremely rude and he probably needs better training to be more professional. I could give a minus rating, I will.

We have used Marc Allen for many years. He is very professional and very easy to get in touch with. Many of my clients have spoken very highly of him. He is very knowledgeable and willing to spend the time with them explaining the process. Highly recommend Marc Allen!

Marc and Proven Termite continue to be my go to termite company. Marc went out of his way to accommodate my clients timeline over the holidays and at the best price. Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience. People that work in the office are professionals. However, the guy that they sent us for inspection was obnoxious and super lazy! His name was «Marc». You need to be available what works for him, I.e. Monday through Friday 10 – 3. When I asked him if he could come a little earlier since I had to go to work, he said «Then you need to rearrange your schedule. I’m not going to drive all the way to Palo Alto from San Jose early in the morning.» I was stunned!
When he finally came over, he didn’t even want to check to see what the true problem was. He just wanted to give us an estimate.

Major shout-​out to Brendan and his team. They did a great job killing the termites but inadvertently caused a minor issue with our satellite dish. Totally took responsibility and paid (more so) to correct the problem.
In a commodity market it’s smart to differentiate yourself on service. Because that’s what really makes a difference. These guys get it.

I would give them 10 stars if I had that option! Ross Johnson, our inspector gets all the credit. He was extremely communicative from the start, right from giving a quote to helping me understand the process. He even put in a lot of effort to allay my neighbor’s concerns and help with the prep in their backyard, since our’s is a zero-​lot property. Despite tight scheduling, they were able to fit us in before our move-​in date, and that made things so much easier.
Fumigating my new house seemed like more complicated than it had to be at first, but Ross and team made the process extremely smooth and efficient.

We bought our house in 2011, knowing it had termites that needed to be treated. We did orange oil treatment in 2012, and paid about $ 2500 for treatment of just the dry wood termites. They had to come out 4 times before we stopped seeing evidence they were still around, and left holes every 2 inches or so in our floors and walls. And in 2015? A whole new infestation.
We got quotes for a couple of companies — PTS wasn’t the cheapest, but they weren’t so far out of the ball park that we ruled them out. What we did have was stellar reviews on Unilocal and Angie’s List, a personal referral from friends with a pest exterimation company (not local, doesn’t do termites), and a good vibe from Brendan, who left us feeling like we’d be well taken care of — and hopefully not have to deal with termites for several years (not several months). Brendan did a very thorough inspection, and took a guess that the previous guys who «took care of» our termites probably never got rid of them entirely in the first place.
We ended up needing to treat for subterranean and dry wood termites. The price for both was right around the same price as just the dry wood termite termite with the orange oil. The scheduling process was easy and straight forward, as was the actual fumigation process. Their guys even went through to double check and make sure that we had bagged up or removed all the items necessary. It turns out we didn’t — there were some items we had just forgotten about or didn’t think about — but they removed them from the house for us and placed them in the yard underneath the table in the patio.
We’ve had several big ticket house expenses in the last couple years or so, and this is the first one that went smoothly and didn’t leave me feeling like we should have went another direction or doubted the decision, so a big thumbs up! Hopefully I can come back a year or two after the fact and be just as happy.

This review was submitted after we had 1 year of fumigation service from Proven Termite Solution. So far the house is very clean. Not only they provided the cheapest, quickest and efficient fumigation service, they also value the customer’s referral/​satisfaction.
We called 2 days ago to refer our brogher-​in-​law. Chris at the office is very helpful and patient to find our record. They provided the duration of warranty after did the fumigation, they extend the warranty of service for customers’ referral.
We highly recommend this company for anyone needing fumigation or termite treatment.

Got fumigation done after buying a home. Great job in explaining the preparation work. Responsive. Not only finishing the service on time with no surprises, but also helps to clean up (restore wood chips that moved away for tenting and help close all cabin doors/​drawers). Price is quite reasonable. Highly recommended for new home owners.

After buying a home I was nervous that our new house needed to be fumigated and treated for subterranean termites. I called around to a couple companies getting price quotes and timelines and Proven Termite Solutions was the cheapest, quickest and most friendly!
Communication throughout the entire process was excellent and they were very accommodating to our schedule since we wanted to get everything done before moving in.
Chris at the office was especially informative and helpful. The crew that came to tent was very friendly and I was promptly called once tenting was complete.

Called PTS and two other termite control companies for inspection and quote. Brendan from PTS provided a very thorough inspection, in fact, went under the crawl space even though we only saw termite droppings in our bedroom. One company didn’t even bother to inspect the crawl space. PTS’s quote was the best and more importantly they have their own staff do everything. Other company sub out their work. PTS provided additional discount because we did the fumigation with our neighbor.
PTS came on a Tuesday for subterranean treatment and Wednesday for tenting and fumigation. They were done on Friday. Only issue were few dented roofing material but I can imagine how difficult it would be stepping on the roof with the tent material covering the tiles plus forms stated they aren’t responsible.
Brendan and their office staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The Saturday after treatment, I noticed some termites under some lumber that wasn’t in the treatment area. Called Brendan who assured me that they wouldn’t cause any problems. I met him a couple days later so he could look at it. They came back to do additional treatment just to be on the safe side at no additional cost.
I would do business with PTS again so I would recommend them.

Just a brief review to say how pleased I was with the all-​around experience with Proven Termite Solutions. Beginning with Laurie on the phone, to Jim Weller who did the inspection, to Shawn Coonce and Charlie Coonce who did a masterful job in eliminating the termites, everyone at Proven Termite Solutions was pleasant, helpful, professional and a pleasure to work with.
With any luck, my dear reader, you too will soon be infested with termites and have the privilege of dealing with this outstanding company!

What’s great about Proven Termite? They do their own fumigation (and are therefore competitively priced), and have good communication with the customer.
What’s not so good about all pest control companies? Setting up the tent for fumigation can cause some damage to shrubs and fences. This is why I took one star off.

Had Brendan come out and check the termites because I was fairly sure that I had them. Sure enough, the house had them and we needed to get it tented and treated for subterranean termites as well.
I booked with them, mostly based on Brendan’s great attitude, salesmanship and price.
What I failed to do was check around for competitors’ pricing so I was a bit concerned about my lack of diligence in that area. As the date came closer to fumigation, I had mentioned it to several folks at work, all of whom agreed that the price was a good deal lower than their experiences with fumigation and they all promptly switched to Proven Termite Solutions.
Good job fumigating. It was really easy. The couple days in a hotel actually went fairly quickly, believe it or not. I’ll hire them again in ten years for another fumigation should the house require it.
