Even though my first ever pair of glasses seemed like they were expensive, Alina made them fit really well, and went to bat for me with the lens maker. My second pair of glasses from them was also perfect right from the start, and my back up pair was repaired at no cost to me.
In the long run, I don’t think a discount place would have been less expensive, nor would I feel as good about glasses as I do now.
Dr Redmond and his staff are very courteous and friendly and I don’t even have to tell them my name because they remember their customers as you walk into the store. We forget now days what good customer service really is and how it makes you feel. It’s because of them that I will only have this particular Precision Eyecare Center help me for any future needs.

I can’t say enough good things about this business. A close friend raved about Dr. Redman and his staff. Since I wasn’t too thrilled with my current eye doctor, who is an ophthalmologist, I thought I should make an appointment.
My eyes were getting steadily worse in the past year. I am nearsighted and have astigmatism in my left eye. I was having pain in my right eye and was worried why this was happening and if I had some sort of eye disease. I was also gearing toward getting Lasik surgery and wondered if I was a candidate for that and if I should have surgery for nearsightedness or for mono-​vision. So, I had a lot to accomplish on my visit with Dr. Redman.
The staff greeted me right away and was very helpful throughout the appointment. They have an option to have your eyes checked with a 3D scope for an additional $ 39.00, so I did that and was able to see everything in my eyes. Dr. Redman explained all the parts of my eye and what they do very well so I could understand. He took one look in my eyes and said that I have pretty bad allergies in my eyes, suffer from dry eyes and he could tell I was a long time contact lens wearer. He gave me a new prescription with 2 weeks of complimentary mono-​vision contact lenses, so I was able to see far away in one eye and near in the other. I was happy with my vision right away and couldn’t believe the difference. My other doctor never told me any of this information about the state of my eyes. Dr. Redman took a long time with me even though he was short staffed that day due to someone being out sick. So, I really appreciated his time and efforts. I have called them several times to ask questions about my eyes and contact lenses and the staff is so knowledgable and efficient. I never feel they are rushing me. I will continue to go back for all of my eye care needs in the future. Don’t hesitate to book an appointment with Dr. Redman. He is a top notch doctor and really knows what he is doing. My family & I have seen Dr. Redman for 8 years. My husband & I felt like we were visiting a friend when we went for our yearly appt. We love the office staff as well. Highly recommend.

I want to take a moment here to express my gratitude to the team at Precision’s San Jose store.
First I received an upbeat welcome from Lisa and was asked how my cycling was going — very personable.
Then I was tested by Alex, a very friendly & efficient person followed by a very thorough eye exam by Dr. Chinn. He asked a lot of great questions related to a recent cycling accident that may have affected my vision and proceeded with a very effective eye exam. It’s now a week later & my glasses perscription was spot on as I’ve not seen this well in, well, a year anyway.
Then I was assisted by Valerie, an extremely helpful & knowledgeable optician & what I would guess to be a stylist. She fitted me with a couple of excellent pairs of glasses — one for business, one for sports. Valerie was concerned & very helpful with fit, style, & pricing and was very insightful about showing me frames that fit my face & lifestyle.
When my glasses were ready, Alina gave me a cheerful call and did the final fitting on one of my two pairs (sporty ones).
Valerie did the final fitting for my casual/​business glasses & assisted me with some minor concerns that I had with the transition qualities of my sports glasses.
My VSP & CostoCo memberships provide me with several options when caring for my eyes but I have continued to patronize this Bernal location of Precision Eye Care for the past 10 years for the reasons I mentioned above.

I found this office online as a provider of VSP insurance. The doctor there is great! Friendly, fast. They had to dilate my eyes and I will still out in 1.5 hrs. The ladies at the front were very sweet. Once I was done with my appointment she went over my copays and what my insurance covers and that was that. My contacts took 2 days to come in which was nice. My old doctor it would take a week. I would definatly recommend coming here!

I have been going to Precision Eyecare for a few years now and each time it gets better and better.
The staff is so warm and inviting and they truly go out of their way to make you feel very comfortable. I have had the pleasure of interacting with the entire staff — Lisa, Valerie, Alina, Alex, Dr. Redman and Dr. Chinn and each one is genuinely amazing.
I actually look forward to my yearly exams and they always have a great selection of eyewear.
My favorite brand being ProDesign, they have tons to choose from and have new styles each time I visit.

I’ve been coming to this place for 8+ years and if I could give then 10 diamonds I would. Precision Eyecare treats you like you’re family. Lisa and Valarie go out of their way to make sure that everything is taken care of and they go above and beyond expectations every time. When I go for appointments they breeze by without a hitch. I am immediately greeted as if I’m a long time friend and my examinations from both Dr. Redman, and Dr. Chinn are awesome. They are knowledgeable and take great care of each patient. I will never go anywhere else. If you want quality service and an inviting warm atmosphere, come to Precision Eyecare Centers.

I’ve always had very positive experiences. Although I’ve had both doctors take care of me over the years, Dr. Redman has been my primary doctor. He is very friendly, explains things clearly, and makes me feel I’ve been assessed and taken care of properly. The staff is also helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve never left the office wanting more from their customer service. Their selection of eye wear, although not huge, is varied in both style and price. I’ve been happy with the glasses (a couple of pairs) I’ve purchased from them.

I had a great experience with the doctor, and even the lady who takes care of billing, but I found the front office staff to be incredibly rude and unfriendly.

My six-​year old and I went in for exams together. I love the Saturday appointments. When I called they were very accommodating. We arrived a few minutes early, and were greeted by their friendly professional staff. When we were placed in an exam room, the Doctor came right in! I fully expected to wait, like most medical offices. We saw Dr. Redman and he was very patient and gentle with my daughter. When our exams were over, Dr. Redman told me we my daughter and I had great vision and neither of us needed glasses! He didn’t try to sell us anything! I recommend this office, the staff and the Doctors to all!

The best place to go, I am a current patient their and the staff and Dr’s are great, It is a nice enviroment.
