I loved my first visit., felt so comfortable with Dr. Nguyen… Very friendly and so nice… I’m Glad I changed my OB…

I was really looking forward to having Dr. Nguyen as my gynecologist, on account of the great reviews.
My husband and I are trying for a baby and I was hoping to hear some good news today, but instead it was not the case, today could not have been more disappointing.
Not only am I a new patient, but i was called a week ago to reschedule my appointment for a week later because Dr. Nguyen was not in the office and again yesterday to reschedule for today, and when my husband [whom took time off work) and I walked 2 miles to the office today, the girl working there said the doctor was out, which was a surprise because we had an appointment and no one bothered to tell us that the doctor would not be in Santa Clara despite them asking us to reschedule for this specific day.
I don’t know whether it is the case of very incompetent staff or Doctor Nguyen’s disregard to her patients, but in its current practice I cannot recommend her to anyone and I am now looking for a new gynecologist.

I love Dr. Nguyen!!! She’s a great OBGYN that knows what she’s doing! She was at Good Sam helping another patient deliver while I was in labor at O Connor. She called me up to let me know that she might be able to make it but she will try her best to come. She was able to make it just in time and I was really happy that she was able to come.
She made me feel very comfortable from the beginning until the end of my pregnancy. If I have any questions I can either call her cell or text, which made me feel very comfortable because first time moms have a lot of questions!

I stumbled upon Dr. Nguyen ZocDoc. She have two locations one in SJ and one in Santa Clara. The earliest appointment I can get was in her SJ. Her office is not the best location (San Jose) but it will do. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room are cleaned. Dr. Nguyen was very nice and a great listener. I made me feel very comfortable through the process. She seems like a caring doctor.

My mentor and former boss once told me… Well, more than once. Never ever write something and send it off when you’re upset… And I fell him miserably.
I’m rewriting this review on a more clear and better communication and understanding of the situation…
Dr. Nguyen is professional. I’m sorry that I did not give her a chance to proof that. The day me and my sister in law and her sister went for her appointment the dr. had to leave twice for delivery… I should understand as I have five kids myself. I would expect my dr. to be there for the delivery.
When no other ob/​gyn was available for a last minute appt., Dr. Nguyen was. And for that we are very grateful. She seems very caring and thoughtful to her patients. Her price is also very affordable compared to many ob/​gyn in the area. She seems very knowledgeable as well.
If I have to chose a new ob/​gyn for myself, I would defintely go to Dr. Nguyen. I will recommend Dr. Nguyen for her professionalism and for her expertise to my friends and families.

Me and my wife have been coming to Dr Nguyen since the beginning of the first trimister. Dr Nguyen is a very great Doctor. She has answer all of our questions and given us alot of information that helped us throughout the pregnancy since this is our soon to be first child. Baby is due in September. We have never felt rushed at her office. She takes her time explaining the pro and cons of everything.
The staff at her office are very friendly. They always have a smile. We can tell they are happy with their job. The office is very clean and modern. She has two locations one in San Jose and one in Santa Clara which is great for us because I work in San Jose but live in Santa Clara which is very convenient for us.
We are planning on having baby at Good Samaritan hospital in San Jose. She has priority there and Oconnor.
Appointments are always on time no waiting for hours. A cool thing is her office is more updated on tech. We receive emails a few days before appointments and also receive calls from her office an day before confirming appointments. Pretty nice when you have a busy schedule. She also has personal website for patients to access records to see results from test. Her main website also has a lot of information regards to pregnancy she even has videos explaining down to breastfeeding etc. Sometimes you have questions you forget to ask during visits and dont want to wait till next visit you just check the website its updated regularly. Would we recommend Dr Nguyen to friends and family yes we would! Great Doctor. Wonderful experience from the beginning to now. Cant wait for the big day:)

Dr Phuong and her staffs are doing so great. I wouldn’t expect more from my previous doctor. I received an excellent care when I come here. I got hyperthyroidism during my pregnancy, so i have to take medicine. she make sure I am doing ok and called me to remind my Thyroid doctor to stop using medicine after my first trimester. I appreciate her a lot for taking care me and my unborn baby. She answers me all the questions I have been concerned and every appointment i left with happy and can’t wait for next one. I love the way they schedule for me. All my appointments are on time and I don’t have to wait too long in waiting room. Great doctor and excellent staff :) I would recommend my friends to come here.

My experience with Dr. Nguyen was excellent. I have been looking for a good OBGYN doctor along San Jose area, until i found this doctor at Unilocal.She’s very nice, informative, and detailed in answering all my questions about GYN health. She explains well all the concerns i have about my health. She always follow up with me as well as her staffs regarding my lab results. Since it was my first time to see an OBGYN doctor, I have no regrets in seeing Dr. Nguyen again. I will surely recommend dr. Nguyen to my family and friends. Office is nice and clean. Her staffs are very friendly and accommodating as well.
