Specialties

We use Damon brackets, a self-​ligating orthodontic technology. The Damon System uses tie-​less braces and advanced shape-​memory wire for treatment without tightening. That means more comfortable treatment, fewer office visits and extraordinary results. We also offer Invisalign and Invisalign Teen.

History

Established in 2003.

Dr. Phelps and Dr. Cohen met while attending dental school at UCLA. Our main office is on Forest Avenue in San Jose (see separate YELP listing). Dr. Cohen established this satellite office to server the population of the Evergreen area.

Both Dr. Phelps and Dr. Cohen are members of the American Association of Orthodontists, the California Dental Association and the Santa Clara County Dental Society.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Jason Cohen was raise in New Jersey and graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After working as a software engineer he went back to school attending the UCLA dental school and then on to the UCSF to receive his specialized training in orthodontics. Dr. Cohen is a published author on topics relating to digital radiography and early detection of disease through computer modeling and has also been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics.
