I went to my first visit to Dr. Chang last week. Wow, so impressed with the kind and caring staff. It was so warm and welcoming. I would completely recommend him. Nothing but a great experience. Thank You to All. Maryette

Dr. Chang is a really nice guy with a tremendous staff. It’s nice to see the same people working there year after year. I’ve been there for 4 – 5 years now and don’t have a reason to leave. Dr. Chang is very honest and clear about costs and options you have. I have never felt pressured or belittled. He’s very respectful of his customers. The hygienists are top notch and gentle which is a plus when in a dental office.

The whole team there is awesome they really care about their patients. Even the reception is Genuinely was concerned and cared about my well-​being after I had all four of my wisdom teeth polled same day. Mr. Chang is probably the best dentist I’ve ever had in my life he also really cares for his patients I did not even feel him ripping my Teeth out. He gave me the option to getting put under and when the pills didn’t work as good as I wanted them to he brought out the laughing gas at my request. My stomach is also very sensitive to certain type of painkillers and he upon request gave me what I needed for the pain he was also very easy to get a hold to talk to you in person whenever I called the assistance also were extremely nice and helpful best dentist office in San Jose in my opinion. A+

I was very nervous before I went for my first wisdom tooth extraction. But it was a good experience. All staff there are very friendly.
The whole procedure didn’t take long. And I didn’t believe when the tooth was extracted already. No pain feeling at all. Dr Chang was very professional and quick.
I will continue to go there for sure!

I completely recommend Dr. Chang to anyone who has a fear of shots .like me. I freak out when I receive shots anywhere especially in my mouth, the first shot I didn’t feel a thing! And I mean at all ! He kept me calm and his staff is so freaking friendly. I went in for an extraction of my wisdom tooth top right it literally took a minute to extract it. he made sure I was completely numb because I told him I was squeamish. during the shots of novacaine he talked to me about random stuff that I decided to talk about he is such a pleasant person I completely recommend this place for any dental needs that you have. Not to mention the view from the chair is really nice really relaxing.

I am scared of any kind of doctor, dentist included, but not Dr. Chang!
What a kind and friendly person. He always makes me feel relaxed, calm, and comfortable whenever I am in for my visits. I have had my wisdom teeth extracted by him in two sessions and I have to tell you, I was more than terrified for this operation. However, Dr. Chang did such an excellent job! I was awake the whole time and I did not feel one thing. I could tell that he really took his time when numbing me, which I very much appreciated because I have had dentists in the past that went on with the extraction even though I still had feeling in my mouth. He definitely knows what he is doing.
It is not just him that I love, its his whole staff! They are nicest people around. Whenever I walk through the door, they always greet me by my first name. I appreciate that they make the effort to know their patients. I also appreciate the courtesy phone call AND text message days before to remind you of your appointment.

I will never go to another dentist for as long as I have Dr. Chang!
I made an appointment a few weeks in advance to remove another one of my wisdom tooth that have begun to descend. Felicia was more than accommodating in finding a date and time that would work around my schedule.
The day before my appointment I received a courtesy call from their office to remind me of my appointment which I love because sometimes I am a scatter brain.
The morning of my appointment I walk in and was greeted very friendly and warmly by Felicia and another receptionist whose name I was not able to catch. They went over what my procedure would cost, what my insurance would cover, and what I would have to pay that day. No words can express how grateful I am that they are able to give me a student discount because they know that I am a full time student, working part time, and paying for my own medical bills. I absolutely love Dr. Chang and his whole entire staff.
Once I’m called in the Dr. and his assistant waited no time to inject me with some novocaine. The wait was about 40 minutes and during that time the wonderful nice assistant came by and offered me a blanket just in case I was cold. How sweet is that?! The Dr. came back and injected me with more novocaine. Pulling out my tooth was quick and easy. He even made me laugh after pulling my tooth out. I bet the whole office was wondering, «Who laughs after getting a tooth extraction…»
Dr. Chang thoroughly went over what I can and cannot do after the extraction and made a later appointment for me because I’m considering braces.
The following day I received a personal phone call from him checking up on how I am doing. The best dentist known to man I tell you!

UPDATE:
My wife and I are still going to Dr. Chang, and it’s been I think over ten years now. He’s personable, nice and intelligent. I’ve never actually checked in as the staff ALWAYS and 100% of the time knows you when you walk in. They are courteous, professional and awesome.
I shall continue to go there for the rest of my foreseeable future.

I saw Dr. Chang for the first time recently. I was looking for a Dentist who was experienced and didn’t gouge you on the price. Also, someone who was personable and gentle. I received all of the above. I needed a tooth pulled and was concerned that it may have to be a surgical extraction. I swear, after I was numb, the tooth came out within 15 seconds. Simple extraction. Dr. Chang doesn’t try to talk you into anything you don’t need. Very kind and professional. The staff is also very pleasant.

I have been going to Dr. Chang since I was 8 or 9 years old. He is fantastic. His entire staff has always been super friendly and they always remember me, my parents and my siblings. Felica is great, she always calls me if I forget to book a cleaning and tries to squeeze me in around my crazy work schedule. Dr. Chang always gives great advice on maintaining healthy teeth and he truly cares about seeing a great smile on everyone’s face. They have been great about squeezing me in on the two occasions I have chipped my teeth in the past 20+ years. I have never had any major dental issues due to the wonderful preventative care Dr. Chang and his staff give to all of their patients. I will continue to go to Dr. Chang as long as he practices Dentistry! You only get one set of adult teeth, make sure you go to a great dentist like Dr. Chang!!! =)

I love Dr. Chang and his staff– they are truly the best! I’ve been going here for years and I really feel the love. Felica works the front desk and I appreciate how she greets you by first name. Cindi is the dental hygienist who cleans my teeth and she’s awesome, she really makes you feel comfortable while in the chair. Dr. Chang is the best dentist i’ve been to. He’s very thorough with his exams and is quick to get you in and out. If you’re looking for a dentist– look no further, Dr. Chang is the one!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Chang for years. As someone who personally despises going to the dentist, I can honestly say this is as good as it gets. Dr. Chang is professional, patient and kind. The man has stellar credentials and has been in the business for 30+ years. He can basically help with you with anything from a simple cavity to cosmetic dentistry.
