Personalized Vans And Trucks

You won’t find anyone better out there to work on RVs, Vans or any other vehicle you need to have outfitted to do basically anything you can dream of. If you can think it up, Gary and his brother Al can put it together and they will really work hard on it. I had him outfit my conversion van with a kitchen that had cabinetry and plumbing and an icebox. I was going to go with a regular fridge, but Gary being the expert he is, recommended me a much better choice that saved me a lot of money. When I first called Gary, he talked to me on the phone for over an hour recommending all my options. He had me bring the van down and wrote me up a whole list and estimate on what it would cost. He had my van done within a week and even drove me out to the Caltrain station once I left him the van. Gary is a great guy and really makes you feel welcome. He is a lot of fun to talk to and never seems to have a bad day, he really loves what he does. I will definitely be back for some future projects! Thank you for all of your hard work Gary!

I looked at all of the well known places to have my Sprinter built out — Outside Van, Sportsmobile, et al. After speaking with Gary I knew I was going to stay local. And in fact, even if you are not local I highly recommend Gary and his team.
For my Sprinter Gary and I spec’d a complete kit: solar, battery, refrigerator, microwave, shower, hot water, compressor, ventilation, swivel seat, fold down bed.
And while it took a while it was worth the wait. Unfitting your van is like remodeling your house. The good news is that Gary has been doing this so long he knows what works, what doesn’t, and when he has no idea.
After getting my rig back and comparing it to the work I have seen from the more well known up fitters I can say this: I have the same if not better quality and a slightly lower price. And I know Gary will help me should anything go wrong.
If you choose to upfit your van make sure you keep a detailed list of what you want. It it’s a complex process. Good news is that PV is great to work out all the details.

I am so thrilled with the amazing job that Gary and his team at Personalized Vans and Trucks did for my new Daffy Dave Cargo/​Sleeper van. Inside the van but outside the box.
I was lucky to find Gary the Van Guru to build my mobile showroom in my Sprinter van. I went to him with some rough sketches. He improved my ideas and blew my mind. Gary is easy to work with. His craftsmanship was top-​notch. I required super heavy duty custom shelving. It is rock solid.
I would strongly recommend personalized vans and trucks. I can’t wait to have him build me a van for traveling/​camping/​toys.

Gary is a down to earth guy who has a lot of knowledge and creative mind. All you have to do is tell him what you want and he will come up with something you will be more than happy about. His work is very professional. His work will outlast your vehicle. You not only gain a good looking vehicle when he’s done. You gain a friend who will help you with any questions you have about your vehicle. Or if you want to add anything to your vehicle. I would definitely come back to get my next vehicle done and recommend him for anyone who needs custom interior done.

When my wife and I were looking for someone to do the conversion of our Sprinter into a mobile clothing boutique we quickly found several referrals to Gary at Personalized Vans. We immediately found him to be knowledgeable, realistic and helpful in assisting us with the design and materials selection process. Once work had begun he checked in with us frequently and made sure that we OK’d each phase of the work as it progressed. The van came out great and we would go back to him in a second if we have further needs down the road.

I brought my van in for repair work to my pop-​top but upon closer inspection, nuts and bolts were either loose or missing and there were new cracks on the fiberglass. The missing bolts caused my pop-​top to open/​close out of alignment. May have been repaired by one of the owner’s workers, but expected better work after reading all the positive reviews.

Gary is the greatest. 10 years ago he worked with us in converting our 2003 Ford diesel. We wanted it to do everything — hauling gear and overnighting for windsurfing in summer, snowboarding in winter. Gary came up with a concept that exceeded our expectations, and then turned it into reality. 10 years later, the van is still great, and Gary is still willing to take the time to offer advice whenever I call. Truly a talented, dedicated professional.

5 stars does not do Gary justice. I can say, without a single doubt in my mind, that the service I received from Gary is the _​BEST_​service I have ever received from any professional. He is a one in a billion human being, incredibly kind, and goes way above and beyond the call of duty for his customers.
Working with Gary on my van is one of my most cherished memories, it was absolutely great seeing the dream come true and Gary did a super-​human job of it. He worked with me to see that all my desires for the van were met and did it in terrific time. The end result was simply a masterful work of art, this guy is a genius at what he does. If you need a custom van, I doubt you’ll find a better person to do it on the planet.
Besides his superb craftsmanship, he’s a true gentleman and really goes the extra mile for his customers. Because I didn’t have a car, he drove me to the train so I could get home. I am not in any way being paid to write this review, I simply feel compelled to express my extreme gratitude for this amazing human being.
