Would’ve given them a 4 but I notice that they charge $.10 more on your drink. I wonder how many people they have done this to. When I mentioned it to the cashier the person next to me also noticed the same thing on his receipt!!!

This location is always out of food. Busy times or slow times, I can’t figure out when to go that I don’t have to wait«5 minutes»(12 minutes) So the rest of my order gets soggy while the other food gets cooked. Even ordering online doesn’t help as they don’t package it until you arrive, so I’m not sure what the advantage is. Staff is unfriendly except for one lady. The food is good tho.

The food was what I would expect at Panda Express. The cashier guy with one arm in a sling picking up my cup by putting one finger inside and one outside was disgusting.

Mexican girl who helped me get my food was Super rude, the other cashier lady was rude too. They don’t give huge portions compared to the other locations. Food was ok, wouldn’t come back unless I had to.

Panda Express is very present almost everywhere you go. However, the experience of any restraint will vary depending where you go. This Panda Express in particular has servers who are fluent in English and tend to rub people the wrong way. Going into Panda knowing this had me feel uncomfortable as my food was being served to me. The server looked angry at me for trying a new entrée they just brought in. Luckily the process was quick and easy. The food was right and everything else was the similar to my other visits.

Food was okay, wish the portions were bigger. Not worth the price you pay

I partly grew up in the suburbs, so I’m familiar with Panda Express. But my family went out to San Francisco weekly, so we’d always bring home food from Chinese takeaway places. I never really ate much Panda Express as there was always Chinese take out in our fridge. Plus, now living in SF, I’m totally spoiled when it comes to Chinese food. In the roommate’s hood, there aren’t many options for Chinese if you don’t want to go far. Since we were having an early dinner, we decided to share a meal for lunch. Stopped by on Saturday, August 2nd around 1pm for take out. *Bigger plate($ 8.50): 3 entrees &1 side –½ Chow mein & ½ Fried rice –Shanghai angus steak(+$ 1.25) –Broccoli beef –Black pepper chicken *Chicken egg roll($ 1.90) The chow mein was okay, but the rice didn’t have much flavor. Plus, there was corn in the rice which the roommate thought was weird. I’d definitely pass on the steak next time as it was super tough. The beef in the broccoli beef was better as it wasn’t so dry. The black pepper chicken had lots of black pepper flavor. Was stir fried with celery(I love celery!), but it seems like they didn’t peel the celery as some pieces were very stringy. The egg roll was average. I thought the dipping sauce was too sweet. I’d stay away from their hot sauce as it had a very odd flavor. It was spicy, but there was a sweetness of some kind throwing it off. I can’t explain it, but I didn’t like it. I don’t come to Panda Express expecting much. But this meal was very underwhelming.

Service is really bad. I made eye contact with one of the workers there 3 times, still ignored. Then the 2 workers started talking to each other. Ended up leaving.

This Panda Express is one of the few places where local students can instantly acquire Chinese food that borders on «decent,» and for a fast food chain with presumably inauthentic tastes, it certainly does the job and satisfies the taste buds very well. Judging by the long lines at 6 – 9PM, it does well in terms of convenience and satisfaction for other locals as well. All of the entrees are pretty delicious in their own way, and combined with appropriate side dishes like white rice(I’ve seen people purchase horrifically saucy abominations that just can’t be eaten properly with chow mien or vegetables), they’re satisfying and filling as well. I’m also satisfied knowing that their veggie dishes are 90% fresh; I’ve stayed an hour seeing them chop up whole vegetables from the fridge and using the wok. Portions are relatively more-than-average. Recommendations include the teriyaki chicken, a great choice for first-timers and experienced Chinese connoisseurs alike, and string bean chicken, a delicious wok-smart veggie choice. While the texture and flavored may differ from those in other Chinese restaurants, I don’t believe that bad-tasting food is a major problem, if at all. Sometimes there are consistency issues; the orange chicken is sometimes nothing but fried flour(instead of the usual goodness) covered in spicy sauce, and less often then not, the string beans are old and wilted(on the random weekday). The tofu in tofu dishes is sometimes dry, never fresh-tasting, though that’s easily compensated with accompanying sauces and vegetables. Additionally, customer service is average; a couple of quiet workers with an accent can sometimes lead to frustrating exchanges.

I can’t believe with what I saw while trying to order my food! I was very disgusted by seeing Leslie who I believe is the manager scooping up the food without any gloves or waging her hands. I was up next to order & was tasteless when she took her un-sanitizing finger & put my noodles on my plate like it was cute. but I confronted her & will send my concerns to the Health Department. so someone please help me spread this… S.O.S

Sometimes the food is better than ok, but, this time it was less than ok. Old precooked food sitting around waiting for some one to buy it. I did and was not happy when I got home late Sunday night.

This place is near Evergreen Valley College and nearby my favorite burrito joint«Iguana burritozilla.» I usually get chow mein with the side entrees of sweet sour pork, orange chicken, beef broccoli, and shanghai angus steak. The other locations I been to had get customer service, but this one doesn’t. They don’t greet with a nice smile.

I normally always come here after school with no problems, but today was ridiculous. They had no fried rice ready and half the food platters were empty. Idk who the heck the manager in charge thinks she is but she was so rude and clearly has horrible management skills.

I’ve started taking school seriously now and I am really pursuing to have a Bachelor’s degree. Until then, I’ll be slaving away at EVC. The plaza in which this Panda Express stands has a Wells Fargo, Pizza My Heart, CVS, Iguana’s, Starbucks, and more… It’s pretty useful one if you ask me. Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of Chinese food, since my classes have been stressing me out! There’s another place down the way, Evergreen Panda, much bigger portions and cheaper. But when I’m too lazy to drive over and/or if I’m craving walnut shrimp(yes, I know it’s extra), I’d settle for this. In fairness, they got a little more generous on the portions throughout the years, if I’m correct. People love consistency. That is one main successor in a business and Panda does it well. The food quality never changes, and that is what I love. If I were to go to the Capitol location, their orange chicken would taste the same. I always get a Panda bowl with fried rice. Their walnut shrimp always wins my heart. Walnut to shrimp ratio is always on point!

This place is terrible but it’s mostly because of the employees here and their lack of customer service. Violeta the lady in the front of the line acts like she has never heard of the word sample in her life. Allow me elaborate on this more normal I’m one of those people who know exactly what I’m getting when I walk into a fast food restaurant and that is why I am there, however when I fast food establishment tells me more than 1 ½ before they close that they don’t have anymore of an item then I’m gunna need a sample to then figure out what I want. In addition to Violeta not understanding anyone and all the trays being pretty much empty Panda Express decided to change up their to go trays it very could be one of those weird mind tricks but I highly doubt it those portions are much smaller for the same price! I don’t have a problem spending money on food I want to eat but when I giving my money to a company where their employees are rude to the only people giving them a job and then the portions are noticeably smaller for the same price there is something that needs to be done about this location. I get the employees have no control over what type of container the company uses in their pitiful attempt to be «green». But the employees do have control over their personal attitude and of they are not happy at their job well then go do something else and if this is the only job you can get then fix your attitude. In the end I will not go back to this place because I can support a company that allows their employees to act like this and change their packaging to a more expensive smaller Eco container and continue to keep their prices the same.

Small portions & old, crusty food. I came here today around 11:30AM, just before the lunch rush. You would expect them to be fully stocked with fresh pans of food, but nope. What was left of almost every dish was the crusty leftovers that they were still trying to sell. I get that they’re trying to conserve food + money, but honestly, this has got to be the worst panda express I’ve ever been to.

You know what you’re getting when you go to Panda Express. At least the food is pretty consistent across all locations. Unfortunately, they took away the brown fried rice recently. I usually go with the stir fried veggies as my «starch» with mushroom chicken, eggplant tofu, and beef with broccoli. It’s hit or miss after 8:30pm here though. Their trays may be empty or half full. if you ask, they’ll actually make a fresh portion for you though. Don’t forget to fill out the survey to get a free side. They won’t let you add the side to a 3 item combination anymore. So in order to use the coupon you’ll need to order the 2 item combo and use the coupon for the 3rd item. The staff here are friendly and easy to communicate with. It’s not the greatest food out there but it’s not bad…
