We had a good time and enjoyed the food. Mongolian Beef was good.

This is one of my go to restaurants when I’m craving Chinese food. The food can either be really good or not so good depending on what dish you order. I definitely recommend their Walnut Shrimp and their spicy Mongolian Beef! My mouth just waters even thinking about it! I like their chowmein too but it can be dry sometimes. They have a wide variety menu here but majority of the great items come a la cart. A la cart sucks if you only have two people eating and want to try multiple dishes. The restaurant is nice and spacious but tends to look closed from the outside because the curtains/décor covers up the inside of this restaurant. I recently came here two nights ago and when handing me a clean plate for eating, the server and I both realized at the same time that the plate was dirty. She replaced it with another plate and that too was dirty! They need to get a better dish washer for sure! Besides the negatives, the people are really nice here and I would come back again!

I have been coming here with my family as a little girl and now I bring my baby here. Honestly the best Chinese food in San Jose hands down. A must try is there Hobey walnut shrimp/prawns and their wonton soup. I have never had a bad experience coming here. It is a family ran restaurant. Everything is fresh and the waitresses cater to you at all times. No complaints I love this place.

This Place and Tsing Tao’s in Campbell are my favorite places! My family’s been going to Tsing Tao’s for over 30 years, and though some of their dishes aren’t as AMAZING as others, what they lack in them, the Golden Buddha MORE than compensates! My friend from work, her grandmother owns the place, and I was introduced a few years ago. Been a fan ever since! Everything I tried was a great! Please, try and you wont be disappointed!

I don’t know what happened to this place! This used to be my hometown Chinese-go-to, and now I would not go back. The service was horrendous. The waitress was pushy and impatient. No one in the place was service-oriented. The food itself– some of it tasted like good old Chinese, as expected, but they completely forgot our order of orange chicken, and it was the worse stuff of its kind to date. Also, the hot and sour soup, which the waitress made an ordeal to order had a funky taste. Everything else was just ok. This place really let me down after I hyped it up to my girlfriend and brought her to a disappointing establishment.

It was decent. Chow mein was an extremely pale color but I mean it wasn’t nasty. There were 3 of us & at first we were seated at a table for 8 but i felt uncomfortable so we moved. Chef Boyardi plastic table cloths were entertaining.

Walking in for the first time, I found the décor very amusing. The host was on the phone when we arrived, so he put seating us off until he was through. I was not entirely bothered by this, but the rest of the visit just got worse. There was a cute elderly lady who took our drink order and repeated it at least five times to make sure she remembered. She moved slowly, but was trying very hard, and I appreciated that. It was the main waitress who came to take our order who really rubbed me the wrong way. She was pushy and uninformative. I asked her what the chicken salad consisted of, to make sure it was a legit leafy green salad, and not some crazy concoction. She looked at me like I was a fool for asking and was reluctant to tell me the ingredients for whatever reason. Then I asked for a cup of hot and sour soup, which she abruptly explained only came a big bowl for the table, not an individual cup. Then she started to walk away, and I had to stop and tell her I was not done with my order. The chicken salad didn’t look appealing, but it turned out to be very tasty. As for everything else, the hot and sour soup had a funny aftertaste, so I drenched it in hot chili sauce. I tried what the rest of the table ordered, and it was nothing impressive. I drenched everything else, including the egg roll and the Mongolian beef in hot mustard. The orange chicken we ordered for the kids arrived after we had finished all our other orders and after parties at surrounding tables had arrived long after us and had already been served their meals. They clearly forgot about us and it was NOT worth the wait. They overgrazed the heck out of the chicken in an over-syruped goop of orange glaze. It grossed everyone out, but we still boxed it up and took it home out of good measure.

My favorite Chinese place. Gigantic portions and very affordable. Try Shrimp with lobster sauce or Duck soup if your interested in the non general type Chinese cuisine. Oh yes and the gigantic Eggrolls too

This is a sit down Panda Express. The menu items are the basic ones you find like sweet and sour soup, orange chicken, broccoli and beef and all those. What pretty much sums up the authenticity of this place is that even though they have a lazy Susan, they only offer forks. Whoop there it is. This place doesn’t have many Asian customers so you know wassup. If you’re into panda, go right ahead. Funny thing is that they have table cloths with Italian dudes all over like a pizza place.

When we first moved into the Evergreen area we ate here a lot. Each time we held out hope that maybe this time… Maybe this time the food would be better. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is abundant. The Devore is classic over-the-top Chinese. It reminded me of the many great places of my childhood in SF. Unfortunately that’s all the positives I’ve got. Sometimes the food is better than at others. But we haven’t discovered any discernible patterns. I really wanted this place to be our«go to.» Eventually, we gave up.

I used to come here a lot with my family but haven’t found the time to come back, decided to come in on a Thursday evening, got seated right away. My boyfriend decided on the family dinner C option that’s on the back. & also crab Rangoon for appetizers. The dinner came with– golden Buddha fried rice, soup of the day(corn, chicken&eggs), fried wontons, fried shrimp, shrimp and broccoli(i think that’s what it was), sweet&sour chicken. Sweet&sour chicken was the right amount of sweet & well sour, it wasn’t too overwhelming, there’s also bits of pineapple in their that switches it up a bit. The shrimp&brocolli was very yummy, the shrimp was cooked to perfection, it also came with baby corn, snap peas, mushrooms, Bok Choy. Every thing in that dish was just superb. Fried shrimp & wontons were just ordinary nothing to rage about. The soup of the day was good, added some spice to it & black pepper to amp up the flavor a bit. Last but not least the crab Rangoon, I absolutely love this Appetizer. The cream cheese with the crab & green onions is just perfect when paired with the sweet & sour sauce. Overall I love this place, and will always come be coming back, after many years since the last time I was here the food is still the same

Panda Express has more flavor than what I ordered from here. Won ton soup, chicken chow mein, and BBQ pork fried rice were all bland with dry meat. I may come back to try some other menu items, but I would never order any of the above again.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was a bit empty but the crowd started coming around 1 pm. All the workers were really nice but the food was tasteless. We ordered from the«combination list» and I got sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef, 2 egg rolls and fried rice. The portions were huge for $ 13.99! But then again, everything was bland and left a weird after taste. The sweet and sour pork was soggy and the beef was chewy. If you want Americanized Chinese food this place is for you. I really wanted to like this place since my boyfriend suggested it, but I don’t think I will come back.

I love coming here. I’ve been here twice and both times the food has been great and the people are very nice. Its a bit on the smaller side but cozy I ordered the fried wontons $ 5, walnut shrimp $ 15, lemon chicken $ 12, and veggie fried rice $ 10. They were all very big size kinda family style servings. Between 2 we ate about half and still had enough for two more big meals the next day. Will deff come back and recommend

Portions portions portions! Dont come here if you are on a diet. My girlfriend and I came to have dinner here for her Great-Aunt’s birthday. Our hostess, Vicky, was very helpful and had helped my GF’s Great Aunt for years before I was able to join them for dinner. The SOUP is delicious and very easy on the pallet. Onions and mushrooms in the broth with dumplings and baby corn on the cob makes for a wonderful soup. We each ordered a single item and shared. There was so much food I can hardly name all of them. Orange Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Chow-Main, Shrimp Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice, Some crazy fried noodle thing with meat and veggies atop of it, Chinese Salad, and plenty more I cannot think of. Great for groups and it gets busy here so plan ahead if possible.
