Just got a cut from Julie & I absolutely love it ! She was super nice & did it exactly how I wanted. I wanted long layers and bangs to the side and she did an amazing job. She gave me a couple suggestions on what would be healthier for my hair & I can tell she knew exactly what she was talking about. She even asked if I wanted it styled afterwards which was a surprise since I’ve never had that offered after a haircut before. Trimmed, cut & styled all for$ 18?!! I honestly thought it was going to be more than that. Good customer service & a great cut got her an extra $ 20 tip;D will definitely come back here again

I tried this place for color and cut in time for a 4^th of July party. This review is not regarding the quality of work it’s regarding the customer service. Don’t expect to get pampered here. Customer Service just doesn’t exist in this place. But you get what you pay for. No one greets you or offers you water or anything. To add insult to injury the owner is rude. Not going back…

After reading reviews I decided to check this place out to wax my eyebrows. All I can say it was the biggest mistake, she didn’t do them well. I figured it was going quick because I didn’t have much to wax but she missed a big spot on the end of my eyebrow and looks like she used a razor because I can still see part of the hairs on the top. One tip, don’t get your eyebrows done here…

I just cut my long hair short. I went with a picture and hairdresser explained me how the cut will look on my face and how should I maintain it. I was pleasantly please with the look. Will come back again.

I decided to check this place out after the five star rated salon really convinced me to let two ladies work on the color dye of my hair. I went in because my hair had two different colors and decided to dye it brown. I obviously don’t have experience with hair and advised them to choose a nice cold brown. Warmer colors seem to look ugly on my hair after a while or so I say. One girl started to do my hair then the owner took over because the girl started working unprofessionally. The other girl started getting frustrated with the amount of hair I have. At one point I feel like my head was getting massacred with all that tugging between two people. The charge for one solid color in my hair was $ 80. The time they spent on my hair was about 3hours. This is not an ideal place for hair coloring of any sort. My hair has a reddish tone and shines orange in the sun.

I’ve been coming here for the past few years and they are phenomenal. I’ve have had both Julie and Tina (depending on who is available that day) cut my hair, they are both simply the best. They both pay attention to detail and take their time in doing their work. I’ve never been disappointed. After they are done cutting your hair, they will let you check out their work, and will fix anything you don’t like. This salon is all about customer satisfaction.
Also their eyebrow waxing services is the bomb. After they wax, they will go back in and trim any long hairs, and pluck out any strays. Both Julie and Tina take the time to shape your eyebrows and get them right.
Although, at times this salon can be busy, making an appointment helps, but they do take walk-​ins.
The people who work at this salon are very nice, humble and friendly. I will definitely be returning for years to come.

Walked in for a hair cut and the staff was very friendly. I waited about 30 minutes but it was worth it. The lady who cut my hair took her time and made sure my hair was done correctly. She flat iron my hair for only 17 dollars. (For long hair) in past experiences the stylist are super fast and want to assist as many clients as possible! I will definitely come back and get my nails/​eye brows!

Julie is great. I Love her attitude, so nice, calm, humble, friendly, talkative. Perfect person to do your hair with. She recommends what is good for your hair. Its been 5 months since I started coming to this salon, I’ve washed, colored, retouched, curl/​straight my hair, & I have nothing to complaint about, yet. :) Don’t think it twice, go see Julie. :)
I went friday and I retouched, washed, blow dried and curl my hair, also did my eyebrows and it was less than $ 60… Yeahhhh. haha.
She also waxed my eyebrows, awesome shape, she takes the time for perfection. $ 8? GOOH! Lol

The stylist charged me $ 45 for fantastic highlights, a wash/​condition, blow dry, and straighten. Very friendly, great atmosphere, probably the best place I’ve ever been! I’m definitely going back!

My son wanted a haircut like Justin Bieber, so while we were waiting for my daughter’s dance class to end, we strolled into this salon next door to the studio. My son chose a picture on the wall and said that’s how he wanted his hair. $ 7 and 20 minutes later, he doesn’t look like Justin Bieber, but that didn’t keep him from singing «If I was your boyfriend» to himself in the mirror.
Quite honestly, you can’t go wrong with a kids cut for seven bucks. They also have a kiddie area for kids to play in while they wait. And they have cold water to sip on.

Random drop-​in on a study break. Quick, quality service at an extremely good price. A thorough wash & great cut from Julie for $ 20. No wait.

I’ve been coming to NB Hair Salon for years now and I haven’t found a better place I can think of to get a hair cut other then NB. Chu-​Lee and Steven are the best. The staff are all very polite and willing to help at any time. Prices can’t be beat. I now live in Morgan Hill but I still make it a point to return for every time I need a hair cut do to the consistency and service of the staff. You won’t be disappointed.

Based on other Unilocal reviews, I decided to give this place a try. Well… it took 6 HOURS to get my hair highlighted and nails done. Wow, never spent that long being «done up»!
When I walked in, they were a little busy so I got a pedicure while I waited. $ 17 plus added cost for French tips toes. The pedicure looks great and after a few days it has held up well.
Then came the hair toner and highlights. I have never had my hair done this way before. I had toner put in on the roots, sat a while, had it washed out, then got the highlights weaved. The weaving was a little chunkier than I am used to. It still looks fine, bu it was an adjustment at a new place.
Fast forward two days wen my husband says «hey, did you notice your hair is ORANGE?!» OMG he is kinda right. The toner, which I had not had before, is really making my hair bronze-​y! Eek!
I liked the people working here, the nails and toes were done well, but the hair took waaayyyyy too long. I dont have 6 hours to sit around. The resonating orange-​i-​ness also makes me a little shy to return.
Customer service was nice.

I just took my son to Julie for another great haircut. She’s been cutting his hair since he was a wee baby and now that he’s almost 4 he considers her shop one of his hangouts. She is fast, patient and willing to listen to my nit-​picky comments. :)
I just noticed the survey questions at the bottom of this form and one of them is «Wheelchair Accessible.» I can answer that «yes» as a man and woman came in while we were there and she was in a a wheelchair. They looked like regulars, too.

Ive only been here two times so far so Im hesitant about giving a 5 star rating so quickly– but I really like it here! Ive had my hair cut twice and both times I LOVED the cut! I am really picky about where I get my hair cut and usually only go to expensive salons. But since times are tough I decided to try this place because of the good Unilocal reviews. I am very happy! I told some friends and family about this place and they have all had good experiences as well! Their eyebrow waxing is excellent too. I saw someone getting a pedicure and wasnt very impressed though. But I will continue going to get my hair cut! Oh, and the prices are awesome! Great find!

Superb business – I rely on either Julie or Steven for my haircuts and they have been wonderful. Kind, competent, good listeners, and they provide their services at a superb price point. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

I still love this place! Julie is the best. My wife Sara, my son Saul, my cousin Mike go to see her now. my pal Matt found her, and he still goes. YAY!
Julie and Steve do great work, and? I’m a guy. My nails look horrible about 99% of the time. the one percent they do NOT look horrible? 30 minutes after a manicure! after 30 minutes, all bets are off, I’d have ruined it. but for that 30 minutes? I’m a star!

The price says it all! I am use to paying 90 bucks for a hair cut/​trim every 5 weeks. With the economy being so crappy, I havent been forking that over to my regular guy! I held off as long as I could and then decided to go to NB to try it out. 14 dollars, cute cut and she made my hair managable!!! I have difficult thick, frizzy, curly hair… obnoxious!!! But after she cut my hair, the frizziness is subsiding, she thinned it out so I could manage it and i was actually able to style it the way the salon does! WOW!!!
Waxing…Lip and eye brows… cheap and perfection! Quick too!!!
Manicures are only 10 dollars and they always look amazing!!!
I came here because my sister in law raved about their price and styling ablity! Well, shes right! Cant beat the price and the quality of work!
