Very price competitive! Jose and crew did a great job — left the place cleaner than they started. Took down a large black walnut, ground stump, and pruned back an oak tree. All in one day. I was impressed. I have had other work done by a cheaper outfit that did a good, but not great job. These guys are great. And the cherry on top — they accept credit card payments. 5 star company!

Got quotes from multiple companies and Monster was the best. I also like their written quote that spelled out the service clearly. They removed the palm tree on the front yard cleanly and smoothly (I wasn’t even there). No complaint. Thanks Thomas and his crew.

I had a dead tree in my front yard that needed to be taken out. Matt had stopped by (unsolicited) by several months ago and left a quote written on his business card. When I called my normal tree service, their quote was twice what Matt had offered, so I gave him the business. I was very pleased with the process. The crew arrived 15 minutes early and the foreman (Jose) arrived at the exact starting time. I also needed a palm tree trimmed, and the foreman gave me an estimate on the spot, which I accepted. 90 minutes later they were gone with all work completed including the clean-​up. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Needed to get a few trees removed and said screw it, let’s take care of the whole property. Due to my work schedule, I had to coordinate with Matt via phone, e-​mail, and Yvonne, but they did an excellent job for a work-​unseen sort of situation. Did an excellent job removing huge Italian Cypress that should have collapsed on itself years ago and a good-​sized yucca, the only tree in the world made of knives. Even came back and finished the job when they forgot to remove one.
Overall, they had a very good price for the level of customer service, professionalism, and work. Only suggestion is to have a better way to pay as without a bill/​notice, I did not know how to pay at first. If you’re a crazy homeowner who lives in the South Bay and commutes to the City and need a tree job done sight-​unseen, these are the people you’d want to go to.

I recently had 5 trees being removed. Scheduling an appointment was easy with Yvonne.
Matt was very professional and even provided me information about how to apply for a permit from the DOT to remove a Liquidambar tree (on the street) in front of my house. Price was reasonable and I like the fact that they have their own ‘truck’ to haul away all the wood/​debris. The crew was efficient and clean up well before leaving. They even closed the gates for me! I called Yvonne to make the payment by credit card and she emailed me the receipt. Overall, the process from start to finish was very smooth and stress-​free!

It was not easy to schedule the service initially, they had some issue with the equipment and were quite busy.
However, I was contacted by Mat, who turned out to be a very professional and cool guy, and kept me updated. The price was much better than quoted by another company, and I stayed with them. When these guys showed up at 9:00 am, they did a great job, cleaned up the backyard and were done in couple hours.
I’m very happy with Monster Trees. Nice folks, good price, good job!

We have recently purchased a property and there are quite a few trees there. Few of them hem were of concern to me and I wanted an experts opinion.
Matt came and checked out the trees. Even though I had originally planned on removing some trees he gave suggestions on pruning. He did not push on bringing them down because he wanted business. I am so impressed. I asked him a lot of questions about the trees and he is very knowledgable. Very helpful.
I have had quite a few funky quacks come check out the property too!
I highly recommend him and his services. I will be reaching out to him whenever I need pruning.
