History

Established in 2003.

Established in 2003

Mojo Burger Willow Glen is the second location for this family owned chain. The original Mojo Burger was started in 2003 in South San Jose at 6041 Snell Ave. Owner, Peter Favre, developed the natural cook to order philosophy after working for McDonald’s Corporation for 13 yrs and also working at Rubio’s Baja Fresh. He decided that he would build on all the great background he received at Hamburger University and the fresh concept ideas from Rubio’s and created Mojo Burger .This location in Willow Glen was opened in October of 2006 and recently the newest location in Willow Glen at the corner of Foxworthy and Cherry in Janaury 2010. A new location will be opening in the San Jose International Airport in June of 2010. Mojo Burger has been voted Best Burger in the Metro ’07-’09 and has been runner up in the Wave for the past three years. We have also received numerous other awards on CitySearch.com like Best Burger, Best Fries, and Best Family Friendly Dining

Meet the Business Owner

Peter F.

Business Owner

Peter grew up in Hawaii and had his own boat tour company there and always knew he would end up owing other businesses as well later on. He worked for McDonald’s Corporation for 13 years and Rubio’s Baja Fresh after that but decided that he really wanted to develop a business concept that is looking to the future generations needs and that is when he created Mojo Burger.
