Mohit Laundry

Every Sunday I come to this laundromat spending about $ 15 – 20. Today my money got stuck on the side crack of the start button. You can clearly see it that it was stuck. I honestly didn’t know how it could slip while I put the money in and got stuck into the small crack. I informed the worker there and he was saying that it’s stuck and I cant get it out because the owner was not in. I asked him if he can spare me .25 cents/​a quarter /​2 dimes 1 nickle/​twenty-​five cents!!! He turns to me and says no, I have to take it out from my pocket. I was very very shock. I turned to my boyfriend with a face like did he really say that. I was done explaining it to him so I just said forget it I’m never going to come here again. And finished my load. I can easily find .25 cents but the fact that the worker couldn’t just spare me .25 cents after I just put in $ 10 – 15 in for today’s loads in there machines is ridiculous. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE SEEN.

After moving to San Jose we needed to do laundry and checked out Unilocal reviews for a good spot… we actually went to another laundromat because it had more reviews but they were more expensive, had less washers and less friendly than Mohit Laundry which we randomly discovered while driving around looking for somewhere else to do our laundry. The prices at Mohit laundry are decent, it’s always clean, the owner is super friendly and they have a lot of washers/​driers. We’ve been here twice and will continue to come back!

In stark contrast to my earlier review, I came here on a Monday MORNING (who does laundry on a Monday Morning) Answer: Apparently EVERYONE AND THEIR MAMA! This place was jam packed and it was elbow to elbow type crowded which was exactly the reason I ditched the other places I frequented to get away from! Ugh. This is the first time I experienced where a weekend day (Saturday) is less hectic than a Week Day to do laundry… wth?

Awesome place to do laundry. Lots of machines in various sizes, and the owner is super nice with a serving attitude. Big dryers are only 25 cents for every 7 minutes! That’s a steal in my book for a place that feels cleaner than most laundromats. We choose to drive 9 miles from home to do paid laundry here vs using the free spot at our apartment. I think that should say enough about the quality of this place.
Highly recommend getting a burrito at Caribe next door while you wait. They’re so much better than burrito factory!

It served its purpose for what I needed. The place wasn’t trashy like I would expect the typical laundry mat to be. The counters were updated and clean. The apparent owner spoke friendly to everyone and constantly walked around and maintained the building. He seemed to really know and understand the machines and let you know that machines were opening up. I don’t have much experience with laundry mats but this seemed above and beyond my expectations. Would’ve been nice if their bathroom wasn’t broken. I am not saying this place is super nice inside but it’s clean and is maintained. Will be coming back again to wash all my huge blankets at once.

Place is always clean when I come. The gentleman who runs it is very friendly and helpful. I tend to put my stuff in and go next door to the Taqueria with no worries of my stuff being messed with.

I’ve checked the rest in the area and Mohit’s the place to do your laundry. The machines are newer (many sizes to choose from) and kept clean as well working. They have tv, snacks and sodas to help pass the time. My only issue keeping Mohit’s from a 5 star rating is the final spin cycle on the washers must be set too short a time — clothes are a bit wetter than I’ve experienced elsewhere leaving for a longer time in the dryer.

washing machine at home broke and I couldn’t wait for new set to be delivered so I went here to do 5 loads of laundry. Place was pretty clean and manager constantly walking around cleaning out lint from dryers and making sure everything was working properly. Great big commercial machines made my life so much easier. Was able to wash and dry everything in under an hour and 15 minutes! Hopefully I’ll never have to do laundry at a laundrymat again but if I do I’m going to come back here.

I only need laundromats for the giant washers and dryers to clean my large comforters and such. I have been to several in the area and have been unimpressed and even a bit disturbed by some of them. Sometimes, I simply did not feel safe.
I will be doing all of my big washing jobs at Mohit from now on. The on site manager is VERY kind, helpful, and welcoming. I felt like this place wanted my business and not some inconvenience like other places treated me. He even offered to keep an eye on my comforter and place it in the dryer for me if I needed to run some errands.
The change machines are always full and working, lots of detergents, fabric softeners, and stain removers to choose from if you forget yours. The bathroom is a bit old so it is not great but it is also not bad. Stocked with tp, soap, and hand towels, and clean.
If I stay and do everything myself it is $ 7.50 to wash and another $ 3.00 to dry using my own detergent/​fabric softener and only takes about 90 minutes. I think I will gladly pay the $ 25 to just drop it off and pick it up in the future. It is still cheaper than dry cleaners, comes out cleaner, and is done in a couple hours instead of a couple days.

Owner is very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and not too crowded. You can also buy purified water here. The machines are quite new compared to other places I’ve been to.

If you need some laundry done, the machines here work. The onsite manager is friendly and available to assist if you need help or a machine swallows your quarters.
It is your run of the mill laundromat, you can play video games while you wait. I sometimes pick up change here to keep in the car in case of an emergency need to use a parking meter! 4 stars

Laundry is nobody’s favorite activity, but this place makes cleaning your undies a painless and mildly pleasant experience. The gentleman that runs the place is very friendly and helpful. The prices are standard and they have a large TV with cable which is usually tuned to everybody’s guilty pleasure: Maury Povich

This place was great! The machines were clean, the manager was very helpful and friendly, and the counters were all very clean. They even had cleaning supplies sitting out in case anybody needed anything, but the entire time the manager was walking around checking machines and wiping and sweeping and it wasn’t super busy when I went. Should the need arise, I’ll be using this place again!

Super helpful and friendly onsite manager! However, i have to knock down the stars based on cleanliness of the machines. I had a large comforter to wash and dry, and i had to wipe off the machines prior to putting my stuff in. It looks like they get a lot of business which is great — but maybe just more cleaning throughout the day would help keep the machines soap/​grime free.

My dryer broke and I needed a place to dry my wet clothes. The owner was very friendly and chatted while I was waiting for my clothes to dry. The place was clean and my clothes dried in a 30 minutes. Overall a good experience.

Here’s my 2 cents on Mohit. First, the good: It’s great to have the owner on site to monitor what’s going on. Secondly, the owner is friendly and helpful which is positive! Thirdly, there are lots of choices of washer and dryer sizes, so you’ll be able to monitor how much you need to spend. (I totally overspent yesterday). The bad: the soap dispensers in the washers were very caked with mold/​mildew. The bathroom is very dirty so be prepared to go elsewhere! There is a McDonalds across Blossom Hill Road with a nice bathroom.

I’ve been to many laundromats over the years, and have never been to one with such an awesome owner, Singh! He is always friendly and welcoming. Tonight, when my boyfriend and I stopped in around 5 to use a large washer to wash my daughter’s queen comforter, I asked Singh how long it might take for it to wash and dry. He said about an hour. He said that if I wanted to, he’d put it in the dryer when it was done and we could go out and eat dinner, he would take care of it! He said not to hurry, he’d be there ’til 9:00! We went out to a nice dinner, came back around 7:00, and he had it dried and in a clear plastic bag for me, sparkling clean! That is great service. Thank you, Singh!
There is always change in the machine on site and plenty of detergent if you leave yours at home. He’s always been there when I’ve been there, so it feels very safe. Also, there are many different sizes of washers and dryers, for varying loads. I highly recommend this laundromat!

I come here regularly since I lost my key to the laundry room at home. Sometimes I’ve noticed that the machines don’t wring out the clothes very well causing me to pop in more quarters so the dry all the way. For 5 regular loads of laundry ($ 1.25 per load) it costs an average of 6.25 to wash and a good 7 to 8 more dollars to dry. I spent 14 dollars there yesterday. There are bigger washers too that don’t wring very well and they are not overloaded when this happnes! It’s pretty clean and there is always an attendant on site in case there are problems. I really hate public laundromats because most of the time the men love to stare at me putting my bras and chonies in the washer or take them out of the dryer. Next time I’m going to bring Dale’s shorts and rub a Hershy bar all over it so they will have something really good to stare at.
And don’t forget to clean the lint trap before drying!
