Morgan DJ’d (really MC’d) our wedding in Sonoma a few weeks back but his time and attention to us as clients started months before. He is organized and structured without being pushy and has great depth of experience to highlight the important issues to watch out for. He did a great job coordinating with our wedding coordinator and the both kept the day organized and things moving along. He did a great job during the dinner and cocktail reception and played everything we wanted to hear when folks hit the dance floor. He definitely has a good «feel» for the crowd! We highly recommend him for anyone getting hitched in the Bay Area.

From first meeting Morgan it didn’t take us long to decide to hire him as our wedding DJ. He is a likable, easy-​going guy, but at the same time very professional. It was clear that he knew what he was doing and he put us at ease through the whole planning process. He took time to get to know us during a couple of in person meetings before the wedding and spent extra time to make sure our song selections and edit of our first dance were perfect. He was very patient with us despite occasional indecision on our part! Before the event he made a special trip to our venue to check for adequate electrical supply and make sure he would be completely prepared. On the day of he showed up on time and was set up and ready to go. The audio during our ceremony was flawless. I’ve been to so many weddings where it was hard to hear, and even outdoors on a windy day, his equipment and expertise allowed everyone to hear us clearly. During our cocktail hour and dinner he did a great job as our MC and knew when to call people for toasts and when to play the music! Once the dancing started, he had everyone on the floor having a great time. We received so many compliments on the music and enjoyed hearing from our guests what a great time they had. Now looking at our photos I really appreciate the beautiful up lighting he did as well. It really was special. Thank you Morgan for an amazing day!

We hired Morgan for our wedding. Morgan was professional, prompt, organized, and most importantly fun. He was great to work with and was able to craft the exact type of reception dinner vibe and dance party we were hoping for! At one point during the reception dancing, he snuck in a song that both my wife and I have loved since we were teenagers and an impromptu mash/​dance party ensued. It was important to us that our wedding reception had the right vibe/​mood. We did not want to do the traditional bouquet toss or garter debacle. We wanted a rockin’ dance party that would last late in to the night. Morgan more than delivered. He listened to our wants and needs and incorporated our song requests in rotation with his own selections. The result was three straight hours of dancing that satisfied guests of all generations.
In addition to handling the music, Morgan also acted as MC for the evening. He seamlessly moved our guests from the ceremony lawn to cocktail hour to dinner with subtle music changes and careful coaxing from the microphone. He even deftly handled a rogue toast during dinner!
If you want a corny DJ who makes themselves the center of attention, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Morgan is laid back, easy to work with and will ensure you and your guests have a great time.

The things I appreciated the most about Morgan were his professionalism, responsiveness, and organizational skills. Not only did he travel to our venue for a pre-​wedding meeting (during which he sat us down and discussed all pertinent details), he also checked in numerous times leading up to the big day and created detailed Google Doc that I could access. Morgan at MK Mobile Sound MADE our wedding day! He seamlessly led us through each formality during dinner and the reception while still playing the best music that kept our guests engaged through the entire night. He was incredibly organized and easy to work with leading up to the wedding and we felt like we were really getting our moneys worth. We found Morgan through our wedding planner. He was amazing! From the moment we spoke to him on the phone he made us feel instantly comfortable with him. All of our guests thought he did a great job. He played everything we wanted and did a really good job at mixing up the songs so everyone was dancing. There was no odd silences, corny jokes, random or crude obscene and inappropriateness in any way at all. It was the perfect night! He truly made the best out of the limited time we had (our venue, like most in Woodside CA and surrounding areas have music time restrictions). He was fun but, also professional. We had great communication before the wedding and we felt he completely listened to all our needs & requests. He’s a really cool guy and made working with super chill, plus he’s very affordable! Definitely hire him!!! :)

I was recommended Morgan by a friend who used him for her wedding. She said it was the best money ever spend and now I am saying the sam. I couldn’t recommend a better DJ. He isn’t that cheesy guy who talks too much and says lame jokes at your wedding. He is so on top of it with responding asap during the planning process, so extremely helpful with suggestions for music and when I asked him to play a secret song for my fiancé but needed it slowed down he sent me a few options of the song in different tempos that he remixed just for us. The spread sheet he sends you is so helpful also. It really helps with the planning process of what you want played and when. His mixes kept the party going. Everyone loved the music he played at our wedding. I wouldn’t even consider another dj.

When it came time to pick a DJ for our wedding, we knew it was going to be a (relatively) difficult task… My now husband has spent a lot of his life as a working musician and has also worked as a studio sound engineer. He standards are high to say the least. We interviewed at least six people to DJ for us, and knew that we would not have a band, so we wanted to get it right. Morgan was professional but not uptight (no dictating what would be played), and he has amazing sound equipment with back-​up plans for everything; in the end, Morgan was clearly the person for us to work with. He was organized, professional, and good-​natured… just what we needed and wanted.
We had a pretty clear vision that live music would be a large part of our wedding day: family-​recorded songs during cocktail hour, mostly jazz during dinner and soul/​funk for the dancing. I am the bride who wanted to dance all night– and I DID. So did everybody else!!! Including my husband who claimed he would only be out there for a couple of songs– WRONG– he danced the night away too. The floor was packed the whole night, and spilling over in between the tables; the photos show it all– everyone was joyous and laughing the whole time. And this was a crowd who was largely in their 40’s-50’s.
There were a few musical surprises during dinner that he likely didn’t know about until day of, but he rolled with the improvs perfectly. We loved working with Morgan, plain and simple! He was awesome!

He was completely amazing to work with. Initially, I hadn’t even planned on having a DJ at our wedding (I’m pretty picky about music, so was considering just using an iPod and speakers), but as soon as I spoke to Morgan I knew I had to hire him.
I was able to give him an extensive list of requested songs, which we had as a mutual GoogleDoc to make things easy for both of us.
Morgan isn’t just your typical top 40 DJ, but instead, really listens to what you want, reads the crowd, and customizes his music to make your event perfect. He does beat matching, and did entire practice playlists in advance to make sure everything flowed smoothly.
He had three sets of speakers, so he was able to have music set up for our cocktail hour outside as well as for inside for the reception (and could have set the third set up for our ceremony if we had needed them!). He had some great background music going for cocktail hour and during dinner, and was a great MC to keep things going and on-​track.
I warned him in advance that my wedding wouldn’t be much of a dancing crowd, but he was able to read the crowd and get lots of people up and dancing for awhile after our first dance, and then had just a great vibe going for us to hang out for the rest of the night.
I really appreciated his wedding expertise; he brought up questions that would never have occurred to me and really helped with the planning in terms of logistics and timing, and was able to keep things on track day-​of.
I highly recommend Morgan if you are looking for a DJ for your wedding or any other event, as he is a professional who is easy to work with, focused on details, and able to read the crowd to make your event a night to remember!

My wedding ended 3 hours ago, and I wish it was still going. Morgan is the best.

Morgan was the first and only DJ we looked at when we were planning our wedding. He was very personable and didn’t seem offended when I told him I didn’t want a DJ that would emcee the entire evening — but someone who knew our venue, would queue up all the right music and get the whole event go smoothly. And Morgan did just that. He popped up of course for toasts and introducing us and working the crowd on the dance floor but he wasn’t overly talkative or cheesy.
Morgan definitely catered to our crowd and their requests — who knew that Call Me Maybe would be a popular hit?
Emails with Morgan were a breeze — he had us fill out a Google doc of songs we wanted played (and not played) and we bolded the songs that were a must play. When I told him we wanted jazzy songs for dinner but didn’t know the names, Morgan said he had a good list so that was easy.

Soooooo glad we found Morgan to be the DJ at our wedding. He was recommended by a friend and did an awesome job. We gave him a list of artists that sort of set the tone for the type of music we wanted and he filled in the blanks perfectly. A bunch of people came up to us after the wedding and said how awesome our DJ was.
Worth noting, we were NOT looking for a top-​40-​pop-​chars/​chicken-​dance and electric slide type of DJ. Although I’m sure he could do that if you wanted, we picked him because that didn’t seem like it was his thing.

We found Morgan on Unilocal over a year ago and asked him to DJ our wedding on 4÷23÷11. He is really friendly and professional, and we immediately liked him– we didn’t even look at other DJs after we met with him.
He is really organized (which I like, being of type-​A personality) and responsive, and he made the process very painless for us. We gave him a general list of songs we liked for the cocktail as well as reception hours, but he totally exceeded our expectations with respect to the music selection, especially because there were Japanese music mixed into our list per my request. He not only managed to play all of the music that we both wanted, he made it sound completely natural going back and forth between the VERY different kinds of music. He made it seem easy, but we appreciated the time he must have put into preparing for our wedding.
Morgan was fabulous during the dancing as well! He had a really good mix of music, and really listened to our likes and dislikes. We had a small wedding and were worried that no one would be dancing, but Morgan managed to get (and keep!) people on the dance floor! He even managed to squeeze in Bieber — requested by none other than my husband of course.
We would love to work with him again!

It has been two and a half years now, and I still remember how awesome Morgan was when he DJed our wedding. He has all the gear, all the music, and all the patience to make for a super FUN wedding. He also did all the music and sound for our ceremony too which was like adding the perfect soundtrack to an amazing experience. There was not a single hiccup and all of our friends and family still tell us what an amazing dance party our wedding was. I owe this completely to Morgan. The cherry on top is what an awesome, down to earth guy he is. So a forever thanks to Morgan for making our day go down in history.

I hired Morgan as the DJ for my school’s prom. He showed up early to set up and was already comfortable with the location we had chosen. He responded well to the requests of the crowd and made everyone dance. And that’s no small feat — I’ve seen a lot of dances, and a lot of people end up standing awkwardly on the sidelines. But he made everyone in the room dance, and it made everyone’s experience so much fun. He even included a song for the staff chaperones!
You will find that his prices are extremely reasonable, especially when compared to those of other DJs offering the same high quality services. He’s also a very nice guy, easy to work with and very open to the crowd’s desires. Easy to contact, and very open to ideas. As I said above, he has no problem getting participation!
Morgan played a huge part in making my school’s first prom the most enjoyable social event it has ever seen. I am so grateful to him for his work!

After talking to several DJs we decided to go with Morgan for our Wedding.
We had a pretty eclectic crowd of guests, and the music range went from electro to salsa. Morgan was very prepared to deal with anything that came at him.
He will listen to your needs and if you have certain requirements (No YMCA, Electric Slide etc) Even if guests come up and request songs, the «Do Not Play» list is respected. He never makes you feel scared that there is a stranger with a mic at your wedding. (My biggest fear)
I just wish the venue would have let us stay longer.
He certainly can get people on the dance floor.

Morgan was the first and only DJ we interviewed for our wedding. He has a way of making you feel comfortable instantly and listens to your needs and requests. I had actually seen Morgan DJ’ing at my friend’s wedding a year earlier and was thoroughly impressed with his work, so he was exactly what i had in mind for our big day.
Morgan is patient and enthusiastic as you plan your music with him. You can give him a list of favorite songs or just trust him to read the crowd. He did a combo of this for us and was spot-​on. He had the music queued up perfectly for the ceremony and never skipped a beat at the reception… even all the way to the song we asked him to play as my beautiful bride and i left the place in our get-​away model-​a ford.
I’ve had people compliment him and his work at our wedding before i could even ask their opinion. He has a way of setting just the right atmosphere for any given moment. He was calm and cool even when there were requests and demands made of him throughout the day.

I put on a lot of events for law students and have to appease a wide variety of personalities. I used Morgan for the first time in February, and he was such a success, I’ve already used him four other times since! Morgan is so good, I started using him for my personal parties. Morgan is really versatile and really great at reading a crowd.
Morgan is very professional, always on-​time, incredibly easy to work with, and one of the most genuinely nice guys I have ever met. He also has great equipment and I’ve never heard him have sound or mic issues, even though I’ve used his services in a variety of different venues.
