Just completed my second major project with Michaels Construction and am very pleased with the results. Michaels did an outstanding job of coordinating all elements of this major window replacement project in two duplexs in Cupertino. The timeline was met and the inspection team from the City of Cupertino building inspectors approved the project. Very fair price and excellent window product utilized with a good warranty. I highly recommend their work and project management.

When I first started shopping around for replacement windows, I just pulled random names out of a hat to get bids. One guy spent an hour at the house going on and on and on about how the materials in his windows are the same materials used in the space station. I just couldn’t take it anymore. Eventually a friend referred me to Michael’s construction. And then, surprise, my neighbor had also used them and recommended them. At that point I was sold. I was quoted a number of weeks for the windows to be made and then a full day for installation. They arrived earlier than anticipated, and the install took less than a full day. Loved the quality. I’ve since used them in another home and had the same experience. I’ve also referred them to others and have heard nothing but positive feedback.

Our project was replacing windows in a 23 unit apartment complex. We chose Michael’s Construction for their years of experience, product knowledge and professional ability to work through 4 months of review and questions as we compared and researched other vendors. Michael’s Construction installation crew was top notch. Geoff, the Michael’s Construction rep, was attentive and a great communicater for the job and an asset to the company. We made the right decision and highly recommend their services.

After doing a bunch of research, I chose Michael’s Construction based on price and the company’s strong reputation. I had 11 windows replaced at my 1930s era home with Simonton windows. The crew that came out to do the work was very professional and efficient. Jack and his father were friendly and did a great job even with the strange steel windows that they had to replace. The work quality is excellent and they left my house just as clean as when they arrived. Jack took the time to answer my questions and explained all the warranty info to me. I have worked with a lot of folks on construction/​remodel projects and Jack and team are definitely at the top.

I needed double pain windows for my rental so I sent out a request for a quote with 3 contractors. Michael’s Construction was NOT the lowest bid, however they offered the best product for the money and a lifetime warranty on the windows and screens.
They have already replace a couple of sliding doors and 4 windows at my rental and did a great job. They worked with my schedule to insure things were done on time for the new tenants and they not only finished early, they took all the stickers off the windows and then washed them and vacuumed inside.
They accept credit cards, however they will charge you 3% more to cover their cost. I can understand that, but I don’t like it.

We wanted to get 26 windows replaced in our house with new construction. We found a place who would do it for a good price, but they wanted $ 10,000.00 down! Michael’s had quoted just a little bit higher and only wanted $ 1,000.00 down. We contacted Michael’s and they matched the price. We are so glad that we went with Michael’s because their installers were the best. They came on time, were friendly, clean, and efficient. We had other work going on in our house at the same time and they were understanding and didn’t get pushed out of shape by having to share space with the other contractors.
They did an excellent job at installing all of the 26 windows, replacing the stucco and trim on the outside as well as the finishing touches on the inside of the house.

I have used Michael’s construction in two homes now. I have recommended them to several of my neighbors and we are all happy with the products, the installation and the experience of working with Michaels. It was a bit of a learning process to understand the ‘window in the window” concept, but in both cases, I was attempting to upgrade/​replace aluminum windows in a regulated condominium complex. Both projects went perfectly. Michael’s Construction has made it to our Approved Vendor list for contractors here at our Stratford Gardens complex in Sunnyvale.

I had an appointment for an estimate that was made a week in advance. The day of the appointment I get a call saying that the boss decided San Mateo was too far to go for 3 windows, and my appointment was being cancelled.

Michael’s did a fine job, on a competitive bid, salesman (Geoff) was the best at listening to our needs & providing ideas that worked «¡Perfect! –ly».
The crew was on time, diligent, professional & friendly as they worked. Clean up was excellent. Of course, «Master & Munchkin» came by to check on workmanship (management by walking around style) and results are marvelous.
ONE PROBLEM: all these nice, new windows — we have to keep them as clean and shining as the day installed.

Michael’s Construction was chosen over 3 other window companies to replace all of the windows on our house. We definitly made the right choice. They provide great customer service, reasonable prices and exceptional work. They installed Simonton retrofit windows in about 1 ½ days and we are very happy with the outcome. I would highly recomend this company to others!

We picked Michael’s Construction over another 5-​star Unilocal rated company because their quotes were about equal but Michael’s used better windows. The sales guy who came was professional. Not too sales-​y, got straight to the point.
What really impressed me was the construction crew. They came first thing in the morning, were clean and efficient, and worked well together. We had some problems with the sliding glass door (came with the door on the wrong side) but John, the head construction dude, was on the phone relentlessly with their office straightening it out for me. I have no idea what went on, but I could tell that John was on my side trying to make sure my house got put back together right in time for my Memorial Day weekend barbecue the next day. He drove off, came back with a new door. They ended up spending an extra two hours here, but three windows and a sliding glass door got installed in under 7 hours.
And they clean up after themselves. Extra bonus. Thanks John and crew!
FYI — their prices are as low as they go probably because they charge 3.5% if you pay with a credit card. So be prepared or have a checkbook handy.

Michael’s Construction is a very good company from their sales person (Geoff) very professional and honest, to the owners who actually came to make sure what was to be installed was right (impressed me a lot), to the crew that came to install the windows (tremedous job, John!!!).
I really recommend Michael’s for your windows needs. Top notch for sure!

Michael’s just came out and installed new Simonton windows in our 60 year old house and it couldn’t have gone better. They replaced 20 windows in just a few days. The price was a low as you can go and the installers were friendly, on time and fast workers. They took time to explain the process and clean up after themselves at the end of each day. They went over the amazing warranty several times to make sure we knew what to do in case there was anything we saw that we didn’t like and really made us feel at ease.
If you are thinking about redoing your windows you MUST get a quote from these guys! We couldn’t decide between their quote and one from another company that matched their price but we ended up going with Michael’s based on a personal recommendation from a relative. If you are in the same boat, let this review be your personal recommendation, call them and order those windows already, you will be glad you did!

Needed to have several windows replaced for a client. They sent out a very professional salesperson who explained our options, and helped us to select windows that fit our needs and budget. Michaels Construction did an excellent job installing 8 new Simonton retrofit windows and a sliding glass door in my condo. Their quote was far less than others in the area and everyone there is very friendly. I can’t imagine having selected a better company for my new windows, and I highly recommend them to anyone.
