My love for math and physics studies started when I attended Moscow’s School #2, for gifted math and physics students. I was fortunate to learn from the some of best Russian teachers: Boris Geidman (math) and Valeria Tichomirova (physics). As a student, I won several high school competitions in math, physics and structural linguistics, including Moscow city and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology competitions.

I attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and later the Moscow University of Oil and Gas, where I received MS in applied mathematics and computer science.

I came to the US in 1991 and spent most of my life working as an engineer, manager and director for small and large high-​tech companies (including Hewlett-​Packard, Cisco and IBM). My schedule allows me to teach Math and Physics to a limited number of students, which I thoroughly enjoy.
