This family owned mortuary was so very much compassionate towards our loss of our mother Regina Gogue. We’ve never experienced a loss this close and we were so grateful that they were patience and compassionate. It wasn’t about money, their heartfelt condolences and sincere actions told us that this is a business they take to heart and are very proud of their family business. Gracie, Maria and Mr.& Mrs. Martinez we the Gogue family would like to say Thank you very much for all the extra love and comfort you’ve given us.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Maria and her family at the Martinez Family Funeral Home. Maria and her family went the extra mile for me in my time of need. When my father passed and I felt lost and didn’t know what to do or where to start with the arrangements. Maria told me not to worry and she would help me. Mr. Martinez went to pick up my father’s body right away from the senior home. That was a blessing. I called many funeral homes prior to working with the Martinez family, and I didn’t feel the sincerity I felt with Maria and her family. When I went to meet with her, she asked how I got to her office, and I told her the bus so she was kind enough to deliver the death certificates to me when they were complete. A friend of mine recently lost her grandmother, and I referred her to the Martinez Family Funeral Home and they took care of her as well. The Martinez family went above and beyond in my time of need, and made me feel like I wasn’t alone. They give exceptional customer service and are kind and loving family.

In such an incredibly difficult and stressful time, Martinez Family Funeral Home was our beacon of light. So kind, helpful and ½ the cost of the big business funeral places.

Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for this family business. What an excellent business establishment. I can’t boast enough how much The Martinez really made funeral arrangements so easy and comforting in time of need. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is need of a Funeral Home, ONLY this is Family Owned which is better because they have that Magic Personal Touch! Nowaday’s this type of business is cut throat with no compassion and all about the money. BUT! Martinez Family Funeral Home is way different than the others. I had to coordinate many a service for loved ones lost and been here and there and i have to say that MFFH is compassionate from the owner down to the employees. They work with you and are able to transport the remains from other cities back to San Jose and we had our service at another locale so they were very willing to accomodate that too. I will recommend this place if you need to say goodbye to a loved one and you’re in a tight budget.

After calling a few funeral homes, I came across the Martinez Family funeral home. I was so comforted and assured when I talked to the owner, Anthony the day before my dad passed. He treated me like a family and assured me that he will take care of my daddy if anything happens. He gave me two numbers to call in case if anything happens during the night. Since we were doing a Muslim burial, Anthony was respecting our wishes in every step of the way. I had to coordinate with SABA mosque for the washing and etc. and The Martinez family was so flexible for after hour washing and etc. Anthony the owner came to the grave site and stayed with us the whole ritual. I am writing this recommendation out of gratitude for his exceptional service! Thank you for making the painful process so easy for us!
