Dr. Louis Poulos is a true dental expert who uses his 25+ years of experience to create comfortable, high functioning and attractive periodontal solutions for his patients each day. Dr. Poulos was one of the first dental specialists in California to place implants. He is often asked to advise other dentists on complex cases and implantology.
Dr. Poulos’ team of periodontal-focused hygienists, assistants and front office staff provides patients with exceptional care in a comfortable environment. Many of the periodontal team members have been with Dr. Poulos for over 10 years.

Dr. Louis Poulos is one of the first dental specialists in Santa Clara County to receive advanced training in dental implants and provide this service to patients. He has successfully placed more than 6,000 implants. Dr. Poulos is a distinguished dental professional, his associations include:
* Founding Director, San Jose Dental Study Club, a Seattle Study Club Affiliate

In 1993, Dr. Poulos founded the San Jose Dental Study Club, an organization devoted to teaching other dentists the most current methods of diagnosis and comprehensive treatment. He has practiced periodontics and Implant Surgery in Santa Clara County since 1979. Dr. Poulos earned his D.D.S. from Indiana University and completed his surgical residency at the Univeristy of Connecticut.
