There are no American vegitarian restaurants in the Bay Area
And when I saw this I was excited. Boy was this a let down after
I wasted my gas and didn’t find this. Only to settle for a vegi burrito that taster like s€€€

Lloyd is both a chef and vegetarian for about 40 years. Years ago, he was owner widely acclaimed veg restaurants, Open Sesame and The Last Mango. Now after retiring he decided to do smaller service in home specialty dinners for about 20 people at a time. And it is sooooooo good. Get on his list and come to his home for a fabulous meal. I went to his Thanksgiving vegan/​veggie meal, and it was great. Loved the stuffed mushrooms, wonderful salad and all the other ususal stuff… fake meat that was moist, stuffing, cranberry with orange and all the other usual stuff. Of the 4 kinds of desert, everyone said the carrot cake was the best they ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful… flowers everywhere, tables formally set for about 6, where you get to meet a few new people, (amazing how talented some of them are); no noise and clatter of restaurant, beautiful backyard patio, no rush.
Lloyd said he is planning on doing different cusine meals once a week, one week he will do a full middle eastern cuisine, another week it will be Italian, and French… you get the idea. Call him and reserve. Thanksgiving was a bargain at $ 25 per head.
