I wish I could choose no star for this review. This one star is given to Jamie (project organizer) who has been very professional and helpful along the way.
The customer service responds quickly and set up a date for the technician to come. OK, on that day, my mother waited at home and nobody shows up. Then a couple of days later I was informed that the technician had a car accident on that day. acceptable.
Then second time he came, checked the back yard and said that the back yard was really bad and ha had to bring a lawn trimmer for all the staff and charge 395 for removing the crab grasses for BOTH THE FRONT AND BACK YARD. Since there are some parts of my front yard filled with crab grasses as well. I thought it over and agreed to give it a try.
We scheduled a date and both my mother and I were waiting for the tech since we know it’s gonna be a big project and we’d better be there. Nobody showed up that day and later we were informed that the tech had too much work to do and will come on a different time. What?!
Then next day he came, cleaned the backyard using the trimmer and I had nothing to complain about his work for the back yard, although there are still quite a lot crab grasses back in there but acceptable.
The drama begins with the front yard. The tech checked and said we needed to fix our sprinkler so he could finish the work. So he left with our front yard and a couple of days later we got a quote for 168 to fix the sprinkler. This is nuts! We didn’t have any sprinkler in the back yard and he still got it done. I realized he was trying to charge us more for the services. I communicated with Jamie and told her I was not going to pay an extra 168 to fix the sprinkler and asked the tech to finish the work in front yard.
Ok he did come a couple of weeks later, cleaned the leaves and he left. nothing was done to those grab grasses. Then my credit card was charged! Later I had to talked to Chase to hold that purchase then they sent that tech to our house again and did some weed control work.

I read all the good reviews and decided to hire them. First call went smooth and he took down all my info and gave me an appointment for two days later. So far so good.
Here’s where it goes south. On the appointment day the tech called me and told me he’d be there at 10:30 am. I told him I wouldn’t be there and he said fine. When I came home a few hours later I took a look at my front yard Which still looked messy and had leaves that weren’t cleaned up all over then I went to the backyard and I was shocked that NOTHING had been done back there! Leaves on the ground and not in the bin. I’ve had lawn service in the past and I am used to it being immaculately clean and that’s not what I received sign Lawn love. I called and told the lady what I found and she tried to be helpful and get down to the bottom of it. I sent her pictures of my yard and even she was shocked that that was how it looked AFTER service. The following day I contacted them again since no one got back to me (no follow up on their screw up) and the lady I had been corresponding with said that they are going to schedule another clean up for the following week but it will be $ 165 (original quote was $ 56) but because of their screw up the manager ok’d $ 125 and an additional Fee of $ 75 if I want the leaves hauled away (wtf). Why such a drastic increase in the price quote and why did the first technician not quote me properly? Not cool and very disappointed with their service or lack there of. Needless to say I said no thanks to them coming back. I just can’t wrap my head around how the first guy they sent out thought it was ok to do a half ass job and not even touch some very apparent areas that needed attention!

You guys are the best. On Monday July 6^th your employee Anthony was dispatched to my home to work on my lawn for the services of weed removal and leaf cleanup.
I just have to say he did a PERFECT job. I had leaves in areas of my front yard that were hectic and almost impossible for me to cleanup but he didn’t very quickly and efficiently.
I will definitely repeat this service once my lawn need some loving care once again!

Company: While they are a start up and working out a few kinks, I felt that they were incredibly receptive to constructive criticism and want their best for their clients.
The Tech: Anthony. Super nice guy. Work really hard and made my lawn look great! Showed up when he said he would, did the job I asked him to do, and communicated over the phone to ensure both of our time would be spent well.
I will use them again.

Awesome service! I started using their service thru a third party and once the contract was cancelled I was able to deal directly with Lawn Love. I’ve never had any issues with them. Randall has been amazing since day 1. He goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied & everything looks the way you want. He even shows up later to try & catch you at home some days. I would recommend to anyone looking for lawn service.

I had a property that was for sale and needed a one time thorough cutting and general clean up. It had been a long time since anyone had worked or cleaned up this yard and it was a deep yard too. They did an awesome job and our property sold the next day. Lawn Love fit me into a schedule that worked well for both of us and followed up with me when the work was done since I was off site. Lawn Love rocks!

Randle came over after we had a number of scheduling snafus, partly due to rain. A very solid lawn cut, and great advice about the soil. As long as Lawn Love has techs in SF and the East Bay, we will use them again.

Really worst customer service experience.
Customer service called me in the evening to schedule visit and took my credit card. I was super happy. I asked my current biweekly gardener to no come. all good
i waited for promised day but no one showed up strange. I sent a mail they told that there is some issue with the gardener and he tried to contact you but you were not available. (I didn’t get any text and mail and text). I kind of not happy after seeing lawn but I believe them they asked for one more appointment I always appreciate startup and new ideas I thought of giving one more chance.
next appointment no one showed up again after 30 minutes I sent email but person sent me a text and ask for another appointment. what great service and company. guys Please care about customers they are the one who is paying you money.

Lawn care was never something I imagined would ever reach that status — I now think that because of Lawn Love.
Lawn Love is incredibly easy to use and the service is professional. I am now able to spend more time with my family!

Had an incredible first experience with Lawn Love. I’ll certainly be using them as my regular lawn care provider as it’s just so easy, affordable, and honestly I just don’t want to deal with the hassle.
It’s nice to see a professional layer in the midst of a lot of people that claim they are lawn care professionals, and in reality just went to home depot to pick up a lawn mower. The site was very professional, I was easily able to get a quote for my neighborhood (I think they just opened here!), and the prices were very reasonable — I’d probably even pay more for the quality and convenience.
You could tell the guy they sent out was a real professional. I never thought of this as «lawn care» just «lawn mowing» aka someone cutting to give your grass a snip, but this guy was a straight up professional. He also taught me a think or two about taking care of my lawn which he didn’t have to do, and definitely didn’t get charged for the extra time he stayed to help me out. Overall, my lawn has never looked better, I don’t have to worry about handing over a load of cash every few weeks, and I feel confident this company is going to take care of this part of my life so I can get on to better stuff.

What a great idea! Mowing the lawn was my least favorite chore growing up so you can imagine me trying to do it now. Getting the right person is so tough, the quality is never consistent. It’s great to have a service that handles all the hassles for you. I cannot wait until they’re in Cupertino!

My lawn was super overgrown because my last lawn care guy stopped showing up (though I paid in advance). So, I hired Lawn Love to take over
They’ve been really helpful so far, and it’s a lot easier to get in contact with them than my last guy. Plus, they do a great job on my lawn and show up when scheduled every time. Sticking with these guys for a while!
