KnowledgeQuest Learning Center

We recently moved here from Southern California and wanted to keep our 2^nd grade daughter in tutoring to keep her on track with reading/​math. She had always had a tough time with reading and felt shy reading out loud in her larger class environment. I chose Knowledge Quest because of the smaller learning environment and the friendly staff. My daughter LOVES going to tutoring and looks forward to her sessions. Plus, I have definitely seen her confidence build with the extra help.

I am a teacher and credentialing specialist but as a grandma I could see our 2^nd grader wasn’t learning with understanding, for some reason, in our local school. Basically because she wasn’t being taught correctly.
We looked into tutoring. Sylvan tested her and decided she was average everything with no analysis but a random sample given. The way they charged I thought was outrageous.
Total different response at Knowledge Quest. They analyzed and followed through thoroughly — in detail, and consistently have followed up and have met with us to show what progress is being made. THAT was what I wanted. They are very «family orientated» and accommodating. I love that too. Caroline and Jeni are wonderful leaders for their amazing staff. Their pricing policy is very good too. They do not try to trick you into a plan that you have to take a loan out for. Just pay as you go is good.
My grand-​daughter LOVES going there and her confidence has grown ENORMOUSLY. They do not hold the children back and even help them with homework if necessary.
I highly recommend KnowdedgeQuest If I could give it many more stars I would.

Jeni is not only an experienced educator and experienced teachers in the local schools with children herself, she is a bright light and great with kids. Our three kids LOVED going to Knowledge and the help their received really sparked their interest in math. None of them had any serious issues in school but the public school classes are full and if you have a well behaved quiet child, they just don’t get much individual attention from the teacher so they were having some trouble with various math concepts. After a full assessment at Knowledge Quest and a few sessions, they were up to speed and loving what they were learning.
I recently tried another another tutoring center for my son and, although seemingly as friendly and helpful as Knowledge Quest, both my husband and I were shocked at the cost of just the assessment and won’t be returning. Watch out, a lot of the tutoring places are pricey. We felt that Knowledge Quest was fair and reasonable.

Fantastic place. My 2^nd grade son is struggling with reading and since going to Knowledge Quest for the last month, he is reading more fluently and actually reads for fun on occasion, which seems like a miracle after he constantly said he hated reading. My daughter goes too and they both have a great time there. We just found out that my son has a learning problem and the director Jeni has been very proactive about how to best help him. Thank you Knowledge Quest!

KnowledgeQuest has been an awesome experience for my kids. Jeni is fabulous and everyone on the staff is very kind, patient and helpful. We love the small group atmosphere & that they build a learning plan around the needs of each child BUT have the flexibility to change plans if something in school comes up that my kids need additional help on. I would highly recommend KQ to anyone.

I just love KnowledgeQuest! Jeni, the owner, is so insightful and positive, and her own love of learning is contagious. She really makes the children want to be there, and want to learn.
As an educator myself, I really appreciate that these wonderful teachers are equipped with tools to help children really understand and learn, not just recite information. They understand that each child is different, and are fantastic tutors that utilize different learning styles. They build up these children to be successful and achieve great things!

I took my son here to get some tutoring and they not only said that he needed more than what he could give, they scared me to death by telling me all of the things that were wrong with him. I’m sure they are good with standard tutoring, but my son has ADHD and they just aren’t able to help him.

Our son was a math student here for 2 school years, summers off. Jeni is wonderful, as well as the other teaching staff. She is very focused on what’s best for the child and their individual needs. Our son was behind in grade level math. He is currently at grade level, has renewed self esteem and confidence in himself now. He wanted to go to tutoring to learn! We no longer have to struggle at home. I recommend this tutoring center!

I recently took my daughter to get tested for her tutoring needs and had the best experience with the owner, Jeni. My daughter adored her! When she was done with the testing we met up again and she gave me a full report on her findings and was able to suggest many options to improve her learning. The center is focused on the students and their needs and wants. It is room that kids want to be in. I am ready to sign her up!
