I have a friend I refer to as the Rolodex of Excellence – when I told her I needed a crown, she referred me to Dr. Cooper. I read the Unilocal reviews and was hesitant to book an appt because of the uneven reviews, but my friend has never steered me wrong and Unilocal has – you never know what reviews are really real. Anyway, I found the whole experience painless. Literally. The office staff is friendly, Dr. Cooper is funny and very clearly cared about me and the work he was doing, and the charges were straightforward and competitively priced. So, while I am hoping for a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums, if I do ever need more work, I can relax with the knowledge that everything will be alright.

Met Dr. Cooper a couple of years ago when I was looking for another dentist to give me a second opinion about my dental work. I had several implants done and was having ongoing, long-​term problems. Dr. Cooper explained everything and told me what needed to be fixed and why. He was very thorough and worked with me every step of the way to make sure I got exactly what I needed. It was obvious that he is an expert at what he does. I also can’t say enough about his staff, they are the best! Terri went over my treatment plan and the cost and even texted me to make appointments (very convenient). Jen and Karen and Dana are so friendly and are great at assisting Dr. Cooper. My case was extremely complicated and lengthy, but Dr. Cooper and his staff so great every step of the way. Thanks Dr. Cooper! You rock!

I really like the staff and K. Copper. I needed emergency dental work done THEY fit me in and I had no more pain! The office uses updated technology that made it a breeze and easy to get treated. I will be recommending them to everybody I know. I had a great experience!

Im hoping the final product is wonderful, 5 implants. This process takes months, and during that time the first estimate of costs, has doubled. Having to borrow money to pay bill, beware of the Care Credit card that is offered. I needed 8k, they granted me 15k, and office took it ahead of work. Yes, the whole thing. and now they want more. Too many hidden costs happen, little laser here, another Xray there. Staff is friendly and skilled, I’m sure Dr Cooper is great, but the costs are surprises. I didn’t know that a implant costs only covers what they put in the gum/​bone. !

Terri the office manager is extremely rude to people on the phone. After contacting this office to try to get questions answered about a Mr. Cox whom I received a check from I was continuously spoken to rudely & hung up on. I was only trying to locate a phone number for this person so I could ask them a question about a check I received in the mail. Terri is very unprofessional and should seriously consider finding a new job. She is not pleasant on the phone and has no business dealing with customers.
A simple «there is no one hear by that name» or «you have the wrong number» would have sufficed. She demanded that I provide her with my personal contact information without even listening to me. She kept talking over me.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cooper for probably 15 – 20 years. He’s done several crowns, root canals, a recent implant and many more minor procedures. His work has always been of the highest quality. I have never had to be careful with the implant or the crowns– I treat them just like natural teeth. I’ve been very impressed with his meticulous care in matching color between my natural teeth and replacements– not an easy task in my case.

As for quality of work. I’m not sure. I guess it’s good since he just recently worked on me and he seems to talk about himself really well. As for honesty in giving estimates and billing patients, I’ll have to say he fails in my book.
Dr. Cooper gave me a quote to compete with another dentist and get my business. Insurance would not cover any of the cost. They gave me a $ 600 break to get me as a patient. During every visit he tried to get more money out of me by trying to scare me about all the things that could go wrong. When I refused those ‘extra’ services, at the end of the appointment, they would still have the audactiy to present me for a bill for OTHER ‘non-​avoidable’ work that had to be done. Like a hair dresser that always says the last hair dresser didn’t do a good job, Dr. Cooper would tell me that the last dentist didn’t do enough of a good job and he had to do extra work.
I was fully awake during all of the appointments so I wondered why they wouldn’t tell me they were doing extra work and ask for my permission. I fell for it once and they charged me the $ 600 they had given me as a discount for some ‘unavoidable’ work but they were not satisfied.
After every appointment they would reassure me that I have paid for everything and the follow-​up appts are just routine and there is no cost associated. I had 3 follow-​up appts. After every single one, they would present me with a new bill for services they were forced to do. again, they would not inform me during the appt. that they were doing the work.
They would even send bills to my house for previous workd that I had supposedly paid for. I stopped going and avoided my final appoitnment because they were asking me for $ 300. When I argued with them that you cannot charge me when you stated that I have already paid for everything, they said ‘oh you are emotional today, and we’ll give you the bill next time.” I couldn’t believe my ears.
The office manager, Carol is rude and Dr. Cooper’s die hard fan it seems. She argued with me over every bill. She was not pleasant to deal with when I had to reschedule an appt. after my car was in an accident and at the shop, she would remind me of how busy they are and rescheduling appts was an inconvenience; however, they called me to reschedule appts b/​c Dr. Cooper was not available. Clearly, rescheduling my meetings and work schedule was not an inconvenience.
All in all, I hope his quality of work was good. I guess I won’t know until the next dentist sees my mouth. As for price, honesty, and customer service, I give them a D.

I love Dr Cooper for general dental check-​ups as well as extensive dental work. Unfortunately, he doesn’t take my insurance so I had to go somewhere else.
