Since moving to Campbell in 2007, I have gone to Dr. Carol for my dental checkups.
I can recommend her and her office staff.

Love the staff at Campbell Smile, so sweet and knowledgable! I’m doing a Invisalign treatment and so far so good! Great at teeth cleaning and also had a cavity to have done took like 15 so fast!

This looked like a nice office. So, I called and made an appointment for a routine cleaning and check-​up. I was informed by the nice and polite receptionist that they won’t do a cleaning without first doing a consult for new patients. Reasonable enough, right? However, I have to come out of pocket $ 300 and then wait for my insurance to send me a check. First off, I don’t need my hand held to get a routine cleaning and exam. I had one 6 months ago, and I didn’t have to spend $ 300 to have it done or have to first have a consult then another appointment for a cleaning on a different visit. Something doesn’t smell right and it’s not the fluoride. Needless to say, I immediately found another dentist, Dr. Gregg Trent and they do take my insurance and will bill my insurance for me, and will clean my teeth in the same visit. WOW, what a novel idea.

As good as it gets! So true. My experience over the years with Carol and her staff has been nothing but wonderful. From the invisalign, the veneers, the crowns, to the cavities, all was done so well. I love my teeth!

I first visited the doctor’s office in Sept 2011 for a second opinion. My then-​dentist had suggested that I quickly needed a major procedure done and I wanted to consult another doctor before making a decision.
I called, explained the situation and made an appointment. During the consult, I got the rare feeling that the doctor actually cared and wanted to present me with the best options for my dental health and not necessarily talk me into getting more and more things done (which would obviously benefit her financially).
After another unsuccessful visit with my former dentist, I called Campbell Smile office and decided to become a permanent patient. I went through with my initial oral exam and so far she is the best, most caring dentist I have visited. As for the actual scientific knowledge I cannot comment on; I am not a dentist and this is not my area. But I’ll have to say that as much as dental proficiency is important, so is the patient interaction and the caring itself. I am so glad I found her!

Its true, the office is beautiful– the equiptment and technology is state of the art. The hygienist that used to work in the office was amazingly gentle. Thats where my positive feedback ends though.
Dr. Carol took my xray and I learned I needed 8 fillings. No surprise, I hadn’t been to a dentist in years. We scheduled the necessary cleanings and appointments and I went in on several occassions to get all of my teeth taken care of.
I am difficult to numb and stay numb, I know that and I told her that. My body metabolizes caine drugs quickly. Thankfully, I also have a pretty high pain threshold.
I was never fully numb. I didn’t realize that until yesterday I saw a different dentist and truly felt what it is like to not feel the proceedure. During my fillings, I would get shooting pain and make noise to notify Dr Carol, to which she would respond «Only a few more minutes, you’ll be ok» and keep drilling.
With my new dentist I also found out (after painful cheek swelling and an absess in my tooth) that Dr. Carol drilled 2 of my teeth too close to the nerve. After a year or 2 both have absessed, one to the point of extreme pain and having to be lanced before a root canal could be performed.
When I told her of pain in one of my top teeth she told me it was most likely just pain jumping from a tooth I recently had worked on in my lower teeth. Nope, it was one of the absessed teeth.
Don’t go here. The office is lovely, staff is nice– but is it worth having work redone a couple years down the road?

I called Dr. McCutcheon’s office for the first time when I had severe tooth pain and, even though I wasn’t a patient, I was scheduled for first thing the next morning. She didn’t try to get all the new patient stuff done before dealing with my painful tooth, but helped me get in right away to see an endodontist.
After dealing with the initial problem, I did go back for the new-​patient exam and a cleaning. She has all the latest equipment, and the office is very comfortable. The cleaning was pain free. She even does crowns in-​house, in a single visit, so you don’t have to come back multiple times.
Dr. McCutcheon and her staff are VERY friendly and kind. I don’t lose sleep over going to the dentist any more. They are really fabulous.

I was referred to Dr. Carol by my son’s dentist. I love Dr. Carol and her staff. The office is beautiful and the staff are all amazing. I met someone today in a dental lab that says she is VERY good. Good to know that other dental professionals hold her in high regard.

You have to go to this dentist. Dr. Carol and her staff rock! This is the most amazing facility. The equipment is state of the art and the office is like a high end boutique hotel. It’s a very calm and relaxing environment. If you fear going to the dentist, this is the perfect place to go.
A filling came out one evening. I called the office the next morning and they were able to get me in the same day. I was prepared for a long wait as they were fitting me in. Nope! I didn’t even get to finish reading an article in a magazine. They were so quick and efficient without any rushing.
I was so impressed with everyone and everything that I decided to make this my dentist. I scheduled an appointment to come back for xrays and a diagnosis on what’s up with my teeth. (I haven’t been to a dentist since 2005). Again, lightening fast. And again, I didn’t finish that article from the first time! Okay, so now that’s become a running joke.
I came back the following day for a cleaning and to fill 1 cavity. (Woo-​hoo! Only 1) I didn’t have time to grab that darn magazine. My teeth are squeaky, squeaky clean and my cavity is history. No pain and the hygienist didn’t lecture me or shame me about not getting regular cleanings. She did encourage me to get regular cleanings, but in a casual conversation way.

The entire staff are warm/​inviting and so very helpful and fun to chat with.
The initial exam was very thorough and the dental equipment is state of the art! Dr. Carol has a warm friendly personality it’s hard not to smile when you speak to her. :)
I learned more about how dental care than I ever had from any other dentist I ever been too.
Even though they are out of network — they are worth it!

Loved Dr. Carol and the staff there. I went to visit her after she was recommended by 3 other people in my office. She was *very* thorough for my initial examination (and I would expect the next one will be just as thorough).
Her office is equipped with the latest in dentistry equipment which was more than I could say for my previous dentist. If you’re still getting your dental x-​rays from a machine that looks like it may have been built before you began visiting the dentists, then go see Dr. Carol.
My first visit was longer than I had expected but I guess it was reasonable considering all of the things that she covered. Long story short, she was great and her staff was A+.

Dr. Carol has been my dentist for many years. She is very thorough in her examinations and an excellent communicator. Her staff is always polite and the atmosphere of her office efficient and professional.
I come from a family with a history of dental problems, so when I was looking for a dentist I wanted someone sharp, no-​nonsense, and would get the job done right.

Dr. McCutcheon is fantastic. Great facility, great with kids, excellent staff. Highly recommend her!

You won’t find a nicer dentist with a friendlier staff. Period.
Dr. Carol (as everyone calls her) is always happy and is a pleasure to visit. Her whole staff is super-​friendly and helpful, and they have a great family atmosphere. If you have an appt in the holiday season, you even get to take an ornament from their tree!
On top of all this, they recently moved into new digs, and this has got to be the most beautiful office in the whole dental industry.
