Just Windows

Just windows did a good job, fast, thorough and friendly workers. The windows, gleamed and were streak free for months. Time for another round. It would be good practice for them to contact me again, with another coupon, for another washing.

Unfortunately, the qualify of service was not spectacular. While they did clean the glass surfaces pretty good (thus two starts and not one), all the dirt on the frames, especially on the grooves, latches, and other places which tend to get dirty with time stayed as is (look at the other photos here at Unilocal,we had the same experience). The workers even tried to claim it’s not dirt but paint, etc. though it was clearly dirt and was removable by regular cloth. We understand there are different levels of cleaning but this company in our opinion performed way below our expectations. If it’s «glass surface only» cleaning it must be clearly stated so upfront and then we’d seek some other solution.

It’s important to count your windows, call the office, and get a firm estimate in advance. I was responding to a LivingSocial deal, and thought I’d covered everything in my initial phone call, including the $ 57 option to clean screens/​tracks (totally worth it) and $ 33 trip charge because I was out of range. But I forgot to review my window count. My job turned out to be much bigger, but they were good about counting before they started the work and getting my agreement to go ahead. I asked them to be especially clean indoors, and they were — wore booties and were careful. The job took about 1.5 hours for three guys working hard. The place looks so awesome, crystal shiny sparkling windows. They do the work fast and when I scrutinized, I could still find some little specs on the glass leftover from an insect or something, or a smudge of dirt left in the frame, but overall, worth every penny. Much less cost than the other firm I called for comparison. I just knocked off one star because I think the reception person during the phone call should have quizzed me on the window count and helped me detail the price in advance, as I asked. It was more than double my initial expectation. I’ll take part of the blame.

We have used them in the past and just recently after getting 45 brand new windows — later I noticed scratches when the light hits the windows — and these were brand new! Also, they have a large crew and used stepladders in the house and scratched some of our brand new kitchen cabinets — just felt like they were not as careful as they should have been. Will not use them again.

Excellent service, period. Have used them annually for the past several years. Prices are reasonable, service is efficient and excellent and they have always been on time. I would recommend this business to anyone.

Great services. A crew of four worked on my house, spent a little over one hour. They did a very thorough job on my windows: vacuum/​blow the frames/​tracks, took out screens and washed them, wiped clean all windows. They also wore shoe cover to avoid any dirts on my floor, much appreciated!
Only thing is that I had a paint stain on a couple of frames and I was under the impression when I requested the service they said that they were going to take care of them, but at the end the gentleman who’s in charge of the cleaning informed me that they couldn’t remove the stains.
All in all, a satisfactory experience with the service. Definitely recommended, and will use them again for my future windows cleaning

I purchased their Gutters Cleaning service through Amazon Local. It was one of the worst purchase that I have ever made. Two guys show up to clean the gutters. Beside a ladder, they do not have any equipment to wash the gutters. One guy climbs up on the roof with my garden hose and fifteen minutes later they knock on the door that they have cleaned the gutters. They show me half a bucket full of soil that they have removed from the gutters. It had big leaves and other garden trash in it. This soil cannot be from a two story house’s gutter. Moreover, it had to be washed down the drain not filled in a bucket to show me that they have cleaned gutters. It was my garden soli. I do not like to argue because they are not going to admit that this is all a lie. However, I know my gutters are not clean and I am out of money paid to them through Amazon Local.

I called and scheduled an appointment for 1 pm Saturday May 9^th. No show and no courtesy call by 2:45 pm. Would you recommend this business?

I just used them again for the third time. I would highly recommend them. They are reasonably priced, always show up on time, finish on time, do what they say they will do, take special requests, and are respectful and responsible. If you find anything wanting after they are done they will fix it cheerfully. I have only found one small thing in the three times I’ve used them.
This last time I had been meaning to call them for a few weeks (just waiting for the hope of more rain to completely die) and suddenly found that we were to have company in two days. I called and basically begged them to come out. They were able to fit me in and did their usual wonderful job. We have had our house painted since they came last and there were flecks and smudges of paint on a couple of windows. I forgot to ask them to clean them off. I noticed it at the walkthrough at the end. They would have cleaned it right then but we didn’t have the time so we let it go. We will have them do it next time and there will definitely be a next time.
Beware! Apparently there is some company in San Jose pretending to be this company. Be sure to call the number listed in Unilocal.The other company is reported to be really horrible.

Our windows were BAD. I mean, REALLY BAD. The guys from Just Windows came in and made them sparkle. We had them do screens, tracks, and frames, too (also bad). They did a good job on them, as well. The guy who worked inside even wore booties to avoid tracking dirt into the house. At the end, one of them pointed out some smudgy areas and explained that the cause was probably leaky double-​panes (a problem we’ve had with these windows), so moisture was trapped between the panes. We are highly satisfied and definitely recommend this branch of Just Windows.

Great experience. Easy to set up appointment, crew arrived on time, did a great job. Half the price of the crew I used before and just as good.

I was disappointed that the actual cost was so much more than the estimate based on how they charge for different shaped windows. They were an hour late and weren’t able to give me a new estimate so I only learned the new price after the work was done.

The workers finished the job very quickly. However, they arrived 15 mins later than their 30-​min arrival window. The WORST part was they did NOT close the gate after they finished the job. My gate was wide open and led to my dog wondering on the street. I had to go out looking for my dog. I have never had anyone coming to do the job without close the gate. I am not pleased about this.

Just used these guys again at our new house! I needed the windows cleaned the next day, and they rearranged their schedule and worked me in perfectly! Love when that all works out: D

I have used this company for more than 30 years and NEVER a problem but only perfection, the staff is polite and curtious. Thrilled every time.
There is another company who are saying they are this company BUT are not, BEWARE! they are on san ignacio in san jose. RUN from them. They were horrible thinking it was this company who is profection.
Just windows on Pacer Lane is the only one to use!

We purchased a Living Social deal. It was $ 57 extra for to clean the window screens and tracks, which was a reasonable price for up to 25 windows. They have good communication, as they called well in advance of the scheduled time to let us know they were running late, which was appreciated.
They arrived, made contact with me, explained what they were going to do, gave me a copy of the invoice and got right to work.
They worked hard the whole time, and worked as a team to get everything done as quickly as possible. Our window tracks were so caked with dirt, I was really impressed with how clean they got them! They used a combination of dry brushing and a wet/​dry vac to vacuum up all the dirt, results were impressive.
As another reviewer stated, they didn’t automatically remove their shoes, or wear booties over their shoes, which would have prompted a 5-​star rating if they had. But then again, I didn’t push the issue either.
All in all, very hard workers, job well done; windows, screens and tracks all thoroughly cleaned, above expectations. I couldn’t believe how much brighter it is inside our house!
I will definitely both use them again, and recommend them.

Just had all the windows done in my 2 story house. They did a great job inside and out. It had been years since they had been done. Purchased a Living Social Deal. There was an additional charge of $ 57 for doing the screens and cleaning the tracks out, but that seemed very reasonable and was disclosed in advance.
They were on time and worked hard the entire time they were here (3+ hours)
I will use them again.

The guys are friendly and arrived right on time. They also did all the work in the estimated timeframe which made it easy to plan around. The cost was reasonable and it was easy to book and organize. I really liked the attitude of the crew leader.
The only negative thing is that they tracked mud and dirt all over my cream colored carpets. This was not only from their work boots (which they didn’t bother asking if they should remove) but also from their tools. I gasped as dirty water was flying off the squeegees onto whatever was below. This was occurring when they were on the ladders cleaning the interior windows. When I realized what was going on, I rushed in, narrowly saving my light colored sofa. I cautioned them about it, and they apologized, but I apparently missed the downstairs bedroom workers and had to clean the carpets after they left. If you use them, I recommend a thorough inspection of the areas under the windows before they leave.
They should have laid down plastic sheeting near the windows to protect carpet and furniture. Also removed shoes when inside or put down paper to walk on like painters do.
I would give these guys another try but next time be really clear with them about taking care of the interior. They did a good enough job to deserve another try.

Just windows has done fantastic work for numerous listings over the years. They are always very fast and professional!
They can clean any and all windows in any condition, and have great rates. Not only that, but they can clean your entire house too! It is a little more expensive to do the house cleaning than other cleaners, but nice they have that option.
They do get booked up pretty fast, but have always accommodated last minute appointments!
