The goal of John’s Lock & Key is to offer professional service at an affordable price.

John has been a locksmith here in the Santa Clara Valley since 1983. He founded John’s Lock & Key in 2003 in order to specialize in physical security for homes, businesses, and schools (he does not service autos or electronic security). It is this focus, along with his over 30 years’ experience in the trade, that allows John to serve your physical security needs with all of the care and attention they deserve.

Business Owner

John is the owner and operator of John’s Lock & Key. Born and raised in San Jose John remembers running through the orchards as a child with his three brothers and three sisters. John went to work full time at age16 and started his career as a locksmith at age 19. He took the time to get educated along the way and now holds a masters degree in philosophy from San Jose State University. His thesis on Edith Stein was named best in his college and is now the book «The Transposition of Edith Stein: Her Contributions to Philosophy, Feminism, and the Theology of the Body.» John currently runs both John’s Lock & Key and Chaos To Order Publishing and teaches a Business Ethics course at San Jose State University.
