This review is NOT for a specific location, but rather for the general corporate line. Phone # 888 606 4545. I am one that is harsh on customer service, knowledgeable agents, and to the point, simple answers. I called this number 4 to 5 times and was EXTREMELY pleased with the service every single time. This is saying a lot, coming from someone who is harsh on these kinds of representatives. Every agent I spoke with was very polite, good English, to the point, ANSWERED every question I had, if they did not know the answer right away, they figured it out within 2 minutes. Extremely happy with their service, will HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THANK YOU.

I just finished trying to work with Intuit payroll support. I have been using Quick Books for years. This department appears to be outsourced. Today I called to ask if there were any discounts on a continuing payroll subscription.
The man I reached asked if he could login to my machine. I said yes because I have had such good luck with Logmein coming in and then quickly correcting the problem. Such was not the case with Intuit. He had control of my machine and without his even asking me he downloads the 2016 payroll subscription and then tells me that there is an error in my program. He can fix it for $ 695.
I explain that there were no problems before he accessed my machine. I asked to talk with his supervisor. Which I did and she said she could give a discount of $ 395 for three (3) months. Then before I knew it, the supervisor did not help any further and I was back talking with my original contact. I will admit that by now, my voice had risen several decimals.
Their sub-​contractor never stopped talking! nor did he even try to listen to me. He told me that I had to make my decision as to whether I would accept their «discounted price» or not because he had to hang up and take other calls. I told them no I wasn’t interested and that I thought that their system was extortion.
The most annoying part was that I could hear them laughing at me in the background.
My original question was never answered.

Intuit payroll is the worst. I signed up my company up for payroll. Jumped through the hoops, did test deposited… when it came Time for payroll they would not let me complete because Payroll was over a preset limit that was never explained to me. Missed that deadline and had to use the old payroll company. Next month jumped through more hoops to up the limit; all was fine until this month when they deemed the limit increase was temporary — no time to re jump through the hoops this month. I’m done. What’s funny is the the paper work they want is the same paperwork I sent in 30 days ago.

I waited 20 minutes on hold for them to say, «I can’t hear you,» and hang up on me. This was after trying multiple different support numbers where their automated system didn’t work with my iPhone keypad. Their payroll department has destroyed Intuit’s brand in my eyes.

Go somewhere else! I absolutely cannot believe that a company that manufactures Turbotax offers such an inaccurate and problem infested payroll solution. The State of Washington audited me because of their lack of understanding of WA
State rules. I owe $ 621 of penalties and interest because I didn’t closely review their reports. Stay away or you will be sorry.

I shall not hesitate to echo negative rating if Unilocal has such a system.
Intuit is completely disorganized in trying to sell the payroll service (but this is also the same company who sells a huge amount of Qbooks)
Even at the user name and password level is a total chaos.
Overcharged for simple items of service and the full service at 99 $ plus 2 $ per person and expensive check is a completely ripped off.
And there is no way to cancel the subscription except to call credit card company to stop. You can be routed ten different times, and no one knows how to cancel. And the termination phone number is a disconnect obsolete number.
The business loses respect in that Intuit even charges 1 $ first even though they say they will charge 30 day later. This one dollar charge is a total lack of integrity, disrespect for the naïve customer, and borders on unethical business practice!
The upper managers and CEO who approve of this branch of service knows only gaining bucks igoring a sense of honor. This leaves their workers in an unfair position. Management wakes up to your own Employees’ morality!
It is a test of exacting the patience of the potential clients, when one tries still to talk gently to 10 different phone persons because these sound nice voices but unfortunately they work for a «fraud» company. And I have a lot of sympathy for these company workers, who have to perpetuate the misery upon the potential customers, and they too suffer from the market feedback.

Like others here, I wish I could give a zero star rating.
All I can say is, «AVOID Intuit Payroll like the plague!» They issued us incorrect W2’s back in January. We notified them right away and were told we’d get new ones. After a month – nothing. We’ve been bugging them every week since to get the corrected ones and we still don’t have them. Tax deadline is a week away, and they still have no idea where our corrected W2’s are. Complete incompetence… Not who you want managing your hard earned cash.

I echo what others have said about zero stars. Please do not expect that any of your questions will be answered by outsourced employees who delight more in placing you on hold than actually helping you.
I would estimate that each of my problems takes a minimum of 3 hours to solve. But to estimate the true cost of subscribing to this service I would have to count the cost of the advanced rate of hair loss, anxiety, and frustration directly associated with these guys. For those of you wanting advice, immediately ask to speak with a supervisor or to be connected with a stateside service rep.

Stay away from Intuit Payroll for small business!
I paid for a full year subscription to the Payroll program. It was deactivated by Intuit 10 months later without any warning. When I called to rectify the situation, the staff could not help at all and offered to «help» me by charging me more money (discounted) to get the program active again. This is a company that is out to get your money and does not care if they don’t deliver the products.
The customer support could not or refused to give me the name of her manager or a higher authority that can help me rectify a situation that seems so simple to resolve. Also, NEVER give your credit card info to this company. They will try to charge your card before they are supposed to.
We wasted so much time trying to get what we paid for and in the end still did not get it.
They deserve a zero star.
