Our practice focuses on family-sponsored green cards and employment-based visas. We are immigration attorneys who believe it is important to work directly with you to answer all of your questions, find creative and personalized solutions to reach your goals, and clearly explain our recommendations so that you feel completely confident in moving forward. We are based in San Jose and San Francisco, California, and serve clients internationally.

We can provide a translator for non-English speakers.

History

Established in 2013.

Isabelle and Nicole met while representing foster children. They quickly found that their shared values and complementary problem-solving approaches mesh perfectly when advocating for clients.

Hurtubise Weber Law assists with all types of immigration issues, including lawful permanent residency (obtaining your green card), citizenship, and visas. Our team is committed to providing excellent service to clients across the globe.

Isabelle and Nicole are both active members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Nicole currently serves as Chair Elect of AILA’s Santa Clara Valley Chapter.

Business Owner

Nicole graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2008, where she attended on a full scholarship. After law school, Nicole represented low income clients, including immigrants, as an attorney for children and victims of domestic violence, before starting her own immigration law practice with her partner Isabelle.

Nicole is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and is active in AILA’s Santa Clara Valley (SCV) Chapter. She currently serves as Chair Elect of the Chapter and as the Chapter Coordinator of the American Immigration Council’s Annual Celebrate America Creative Writing Contest.

Nicole is committed to her community. She volunteers at pro bono legal clinics every month and serves as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children.

Nicole is an active member of the State Bar of California, #257 767.

My husband and I worked with both Isabelle and Nicole during our immigration process. I have got to say that Nicole is the best person to be your lawyer. She is very professional, very caring and kind. She has all the knowledge that can help you with your case. She answers all ur questions very quickly with everything you need to know in order to help you. If you are looking for a lawyer who can help you with immigration issue, she is your number one option to consider. Before working with her I have checked several other options thru phone and emails, even went in person to talk to them, but none can be as good as Nicole. You can tell she is good through the first meeting. Her pricing is also very reasonable, i would even say it is much more better than those i went to before her. Nicole and Isabelle made this daunting and overwhelming immigration process so much simpler and calming! Nicole worked with us during the process, responding so quickly to emails and questions, no matter what day of the week. I don’t even know where to start! They are the best! we had decided to hire a lawyer to do the application for us because we know that immigration is very complicated, after a friend recommended them to us, we had a meeting and we finally hired them. We spoke more with Nicole and she was always SO helpful, getting everything very organized and always being there for us even though we might had been a bit annoying sometimes with a lot of questions lol that feeling of organization made us feel comfortable and calmer about it. They walked us through all the steps with knowledge and certainty.
We finally went to the final interview with Isabelle and she was awesome! She is funny and she broke the ice for us before going in. It made a huge difference, my fiancé was quite nervous and that helped her a lot!
I would definitely recommend them 100%. The whole process was way, way faster than other cases we hear and it’s all about submitting a good package to the immigration office in the first time. They definitely know how to do that.

We cannot recommend Nicole and Isabelle enough!
After contacting several different firms in the Bay Area and either receiving no reply or some fairly cold responses, we were lucky enough to find Hurtubise Weber Law on Unilocal.They were the only immigration lawyers with a five-star rating — which they thoroughly deserve — and after meeting Nicole we knew we had made the right choice.
When we first met with Nicole, we had just decided to get married, and needed guidance as to our next steps. Nicole patiently worked with us to outline our timeline over the next few months, as we filed the paperwork for a green card (for the spouse of an American citizen). The application process can be quite overwhelming, but Nicole helped us every step of the way and was always very quick to respond to any questions we had. While we compiled the application we were rarely out of touch and Nicole was always available if and when we needed her. On one occasion we also met with Isabelle, who despite other commitments made time for us.
We found both Nicole and Isabelle to be very professional and extremely knowledgeable of their field, whilst also being sincere, personable and welcoming. They are both incredibly warm and friendly, and we felt very comfortable working with them over the last six months. Although our case was fairly straightforward, we were very happy to have them there to help and guide us, and to keep us informed of every step of the process. Nicole also did such a great job of preparing us for the final interview (by giving us a mock interview before) that the real thing felt like a breeze!
