It was horrible $ 50 for a refill plus she couldn’t even out my nails and she did. Not removed my cuticles out with the right tool but tried using the nail filer and they expected me to tip so I just put in a dollar cause they were saying do you have cash to tip her? And I said. No and the lady asked how much you want to tip I wanted to say no badly but I said a dollar and the lady just mugged me never coming back here again!

First time that I’ve been here and I have to say that the girls are very nice and do exactly what you want

Pros: *Was able to make an appt the day before
*This place is right down the street from my work

CONS: * Over priced, other places you pay $ 10.00 extra for gel. This place you pay $ 20.00, so for a gel fill out the door it’s $ 50.00 bucks
* I needed new gel on four of my nails and a fill on the rest, the four that needed new gel were uneven and way thicker than my other nails. I told the lady that I like my nails thin not thick. When I pointed out to her that my nails were not only thicker than my other nails but uneven her response to me was «its because your right hand is bigger than your left hand» REALLY LADY!
* Had to grab the nail-​file and fix my own nails
* Parking sucks of course
The lady was an older lady so I felt bad but paying $ 50.00 for nails I’m not happy with isn’t gonna happen. I left unhappy and will never go back!

Recently relocated to the San Jose area and needed to find a new go-​to nail salon and I found it! Awesome customer service and nice detailed work. Very happy with my gel manicure and pedicure!

To start off with this place charges double the price as Color Nails and it’s so not worth it. I explained to the lady who did my nails the exact shape I wanted, even showed her a picture of the nails. Some of my nails are flat and the others are round. She tried telling me that I we my nails that were the problem not how she shaped them. To make things worse when I was given colors to choose from I selected what appeared to be a dark, very dark purple to which I double checked to make sure. As the woman put on the first coat I kept telling her it didn’t look like the nail that was displayed to which she tried to make excuses that it looks different on real nails. I don’t know about you guys… But this looks pretty red to me. When I told the cashier what had happened the woman (who probably had no knowledge that I spoke Vietnamese) accused me of trying to be cheap and that I was just trying to get a discount. Not that it wouldn’t be nice to do so. But they me pay full price for something I didn’t want. If I’m paying $ 60 bucks for my nails I would have expected better job and better service.

Rosie is great and gentle with waxing, she also was quick while providing attentive service.

I wish I could them 0 stars! These ladies are terrible. They took 3 hours to do an acrylic set! This is so not okay! They are overpriced and they cut my skin. My nail chipped as soon as I left so I went back in and they all started yelling at me. They were like you need to be careful. The entire time they were talking in their language and giving me dirty looks. I felt so uncomfortable, I couldn’t wait to leave. But they took forever so I couldn’t leave! They did my moms nails, register mani, and they polish came off in less than 24 hours!
I do NOT recommend this place. This was the worst nail place I’ve ever been to.

What can I say about this place.
1. Parking is just about right. You can’t expect much from a busy plaza.
2. Customer service. The lady who did my nails she we Nice. My overall experience with her was great. Except that she cut too much cuticle and cut my pinky.
3. Pricing. It is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED HERE. I Ended up paying $ 41 for just a basic gel or shellac. You can get it anywhere else for just 20 – 25 max. I am not sure why they would even charge $ 36 for gel and $ 5 for take off. With $ 41 I could have gotten my mani and pedi done at the same time
It is winter season at the moment. I do understand that nail salons does have all these chemical smells inside. But they should have turn on heater and leave the back door open. That way, air can go in n out. But the owner wanted to leave the front door open, consider there are a few clients inside. It was super cold!
I usually don’t leave bad comments or low rating too often. Only when it’s necessary. But dang I had to leave a 3 stars for this place. It was my first time and definitely will be my last.

First it’s just overpriced we spent 50% more than we normally do to go have the two of us get pedicures and one of us get a manicure, usually I get a French tip and it cost the same amount as we paid here to have my nails just buffed out. But we look at the prices before we sat down and knew we were going to spend more than our regular place. My bigger problem is that I went home with wet pants because the woman turns the water hose on full blast with cold water to rinse off my legs and splashed up onto the back of my pants and did not apologize for doing so. They spent so much time focused on trying to sell us add-​ons, I was asked three times if I wanted to have my eyebrows done I don’t have my eyebrows waxed so I didn’t want them done there. But I shouldn’t have to say no that many times. If they spent as much time doing the job that we asked them to do as they did trying to sell us add ons, it would’ve been a good experience. The girls that were working on my hands and feet spent more time talking to each other about whatever the girls were talking about at the next chair than actually paying attention to what they were doing. For example my pedicure professional did not turn on the whirlpool on my pedicure chair I had to ask three times before she turned it on and then she turned it off at her first chance; apparently she doesn’t like it; sorry I’m the client and I do like it. She had to fight with the chair’s feet rests which weren’t moving properly and put my feet in weird positions because the foot rests weren’t working properly and then like I said before she splashed me with water twice. The woman doing my nails pushed me multiple times to get a gelcoat, which I didn’t want because I just had a gelcoat come off that ripped my nails up and I need them to have a few days to breeze, she could try and sell me a new gelcoat but she didn’t probably take the old gelcoat off I can still see the spots on two of my fingers were there still gel from before.
I just won’t ever go back. Mind you they look nice and the person that I went with had a decent experience, though they tried over and over to get her to have a manicure because I was having a manicure even though she didn’t want it, and then multiple times to get her eyebrows done because she had to wait for me anyway, it was very unappreciated we shouldn’t have to say no that many times.
It seems like it would be a good place for large groups because there’s lots of chairs but the chairs are all backed up against poles so you cant actually talk to each other while you’re having your pedicures. The space is so tight that the woman who was doing my manicure couldn’t work around the chair so she did my entire manicure with my left hand pulled across my body so that she can do it all from the right side of my body instead of walking around the chair because it was too tight against the wall. Mind you the chair that my friend was sitting in that went with me who was not getting a manicure was perfectly positioned to allow somebody to give a manicure but they put her in that chair while she was only getting a pedicure and try to sell her a manicure and me in the chair next to the wall where they couldn’t move around it, when I asked for a manicure upon coming in.
That’s what I get for cheating on my regular place!

This rating is for the quality of work done at Happy Nails. I’ve never personally had services performed, but my wife has on separate occasions — usually for just a mani/​pedi, and most recently for our wedding. As for their location, it’s clean and the staff has always been courteous.
We are absolutely blown away at the quality of their work. I’ll try to add a picture along with this. My wife had her nails done on Oct. 17, the day before our wedding. Just a regular manicure and shellac. Immediately after our wedding, we were jet set for Maui. We were in Maui for a week and each day was sand, sun, salt water, rocks, hot tubs, body scrubs, A LOT of showers, hiking, picking through items in stores, snorkeling, boats, canoeing, etc. Her nails have had the resiliency of a T-​1000.
It’s now Oct. 30. We’re home and have gotten back into the routine — cooking, cleaning, work, cats, gym… Our lifestyle is not one conducive to nice nails all the time. Anything she has done usually makes it about a week or so before she has to scrap it all because of chipping and stuff. Her nails are still going damn strong. I know how shellac can really protect your nails, but compared to other places we’ve been, the job this place has done is like the energizer bunny.
And purely husband commentary here: I actually really like the design they did for her. Elegant in its own simplicity and looks good for everyday as well. Be honest, fellas. We get asked, «do you like my nails?» and we usually just kind of nod and say they look good because really we don’t notice (ladies, take note. We don’t really see the individual pieces that make you beautiful you, only the entire ensemble). But I did notice her nails this time, especially when I got to see the job she had done for the first time while placing that ring on her finger ;-)

I wish I could give them 0 star. Very dirty place and the chairs are so old and not working. I went there few times and every time I told myself give them one more chance but as you can see from pic this what happened to my nails.

Terrible experience today. The lady doing my shellac got the color wrong, plus the quality was terrible. I am going to have to get my nails redone ASAP. Unfortunately I didn’t have time today at the salon to get the problems corrected. No discount was offered even though I made sure they knew about the color problems.

Today I had my first bad experience here. The lady doing my nails must have been in a rush today. She did my eyebrows and my pedi. When she was doing my eyebrows in the pedi chair she was very fast. I was concerned about how my eyebrows came out and if she even trimmed them. She was done in about 1 minute. The’re cleaned up. I’m not impressed with the shape. My pedicure was worse. She was rough and fast. Not relaxing at all. I could tell there was tension amounst the staff and she was taking it out on my quality of service. I paid $ 65. Her name is Tracy.

Happy with Happy Nails & Spa, welcoming environment and relaxing atmosphere. I love this place coming back soon.

Difficult to give the star rating. I really do love this place.
Mani /​Pedi are wonderful but the last few times I’ve been here they can not to simple designs (once a flower & once a heart), they just look like blobs on my toes or fingers.
So I’d say if you want a fill, mani or pedi, it’s great, but don’t get too creative on them.

I really hope this is the nail place I went to by massage envy and the joint, if not sorry.
Now, my father and I went in and wanted pedicures. $ 170 later and I’m so confused. I wanted a polish change bc I have a healing broken leg. My dad just wanted a simple pedicure. They up charged us to the hilt! I guess my fault for not saying anything at the register, but the bill was in front of my dad and I didn’t want to embarrass either of us.
Update! My nails look horrible and my father has even complained. Seriously, I’ve never seen a worst job. Ugh!

If I could give them zero stars I would. This place is not what the reviews say they are. My gel manicure was sub par. And my best friends full set turned out horrible. We came here to try out a new place and we both left highly disappointed. She said her pedicure was nice but that was about it. I feel like my Mani was rushed and she wasn’t worried about the detail. They aren’t shaped the same and one is cracked. I’m annoyed I paid 41 bucks for a gel manicure. I’ve never paid that much. I was unaware that they charge to remove the previous polish. My friends nails weren’t shaped and when she told the manicurist they were mishAped she barley fixed the issue. And she paid an arm and a leg for something she didn’t like. This place is over priced rip off.

They have great service and the place is very clean.
I wish they had kids size spa chairs like i thought i saw in the picture, but my 5 and 6 year old fit in just right!

Meh. Same experience as most the other reviewers, but went anyway because I’m going out of town and I was in a time crunch.
Needed a pink and white fill. Girl completely lacked bedside manner. She ripped my skin off quite a few times and acted like she had no idea. Did a poor job of cleaning the junk out of the under nail. I had to insist she go back and do it again a few times. When she cut my natural nails, she did NOT ask me how long I wanted them or even if It was okay. She just chose the length she wanted. Same thing for the pink/​white ratio so I did pause and make sure I approved when she tried to rush past it. I insisted she make both my hands match, but she tried to blow passed that too.
The worst part tho was the up selling piece. My nails were borderline coming up/​okay to be refilled. As she was filing the nails she stuck her finger nail under one, took it straight off my finger, and said «look! You need new set. 45 dollar plus 5 to take off». Uhh. Wtf? Then she tried to use a white powder with glitter and she goes «50 for this powder. You want, right?» Uh. No. Then I was asking her if a gel French manicure would chip and I literally never got an answer (asked 5 times). Instead she told me «45 for gel manicure plus 5 for take off plus 5 for French. You want, right?»
Plus as she was doing my nails she made me so nervous. Sloppiest work I’ve ever seen mid-​process. See photo. At least the end product turned out nice. But won’t be back unless in major rush.
