Happy Face Child Care is a home away from home with a learning environment. We focus on teaching children new things through play and learning developmental toys and activities. Our goal is to work with children who may have ADD/ADHD and focus on how that child learns best by using (MI) Multiple Intelligence techniques and adapting to the child’s learning style. We believe all children are intelligent and some are extremely gifted who can think outside of the box. It is our goal and mission to help our families hone in on their child’s differences and help the child be proud of the way they learn best.
We have a fun Summer Enrichment Program that helps with social and volunteer skills. We also have an Academic Boot Camp that helps students master skills learned in previous grades to help give them a solid foundation for their next grade level on the National Common Core Curriculum. Our Academic Boot Camp helps us put the fun back into learning. We play interactive games to help learn and retain information, especially focusing on Kinesthetic and Verbal social learners.
History
Established in 2002.
Happy Face Child Care was started to help my oldest son succeed in school. He was diagnosed with ADD and falling behind in the 4th grade. I wanted to learn how to best support him, so I started my business and went back to school to work with children who had special needs.

Now, I am working on a new chapter in our program. My youngest son is ADHD and in the 7th grade. We have an Academic Boot Camp that helps students become Honor Roll Students.
