Based in San Jose, I offer private guitar instruction to players of all levels and ages. I especially welcome and encourage beginners! A typical session runs 45 minutes, and my rates are very reasonable.

Additionally, I offer guidance with recording tips, programming, sampling and Pro Tools tutoring.

Business Owner

My name is Craig Launer. I am a professional guitarist and teacher with over 25 years of experience, including live playing as a member of several local bands and studio work with recording artists Johnny Lima, Jamie Allen and Miss Crazy.

My musical background is rooted in rock guitar, metal and neo-​classical shred, and my style is influenced by Randy Rhoads, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ace Frehley, Eddie Van Halen and several other innovative guitarists.

I have a relaxed approach to instruction, and I tailor my lessons to the needs of each of my students to help them achieve their playing goals. I encourage regular practice, however, I always keep it fun and interesting by helping you apply what you learn to your favorite songs.
