What the bleep? I seen stuff in that store I could buy brand new for less than what they charge. Do people really buy the junk they have? Broken items for sell? 49.99 for a broken dresser. 0 stars

This Goodwill is like a warehouse with a pretty interior. I have been here once a week for 5 weeks and I have not found one thing that was worth buying (at any price!). The clothes rack is so tacky, I really can’t believe they don’t sort through the clothes better. Judging by the people I saw inside however, I guess they would be happy with the selection. Even the electronics section was very lacking. I never saw even the worst lcd tv, they were all tube types. I saw one flatscreen in all the trips I made here.
I guess other people like this place, it was relatively crowded and they did have a full sized bathroom with a few stalls. I’ve been to better thrift stores back home on the east coast so I’m really not impressed here. I guess its possible that I always come here at the worst times. In any case, I’m tired of wasting my time coming here. I’ll give it 2 stars because hopefully the reader of this will find something they like.

A discount store shouldn’t imply discount customer service. It doesn’t at this Goodwill, all the employees are extremely warm friendly and polite. This is important to me as it makes me feel more comfortable when I’m browsing not having someone wanting me to hurry and leave. This goodwill is huge. They have a nice variety of items. There are more dresses than I’ve ever seen in a goodwill. Seriously about ¼−1/3 of the perimeter of the store is dresses. Actually, most sections have more clothing than you see at the average goodwill. I saw lots of clothing with tags still on and a lot of duplicates — they must get a lot of donations from stores. They have a tub of sealed merchandise like sharpies (50 cents!) and chapstick toward the back, and a tub of like phone cases on the counter. They have dressing rooms too.

This Good will is nice to go to because all the employees are so darn NICE. They are really sweet and understand the meaning of great customer service! They are also very professional, courteous and efficient. The store is bright and clean. It has a nice, un-​stuffy, un-​musty smell to it. Sometimes when you go to second hand stores you can experience these types of fragrances, but not here. I am impressed by the clothing yes, but the sales/​retail clerks are the best. I have found cool clothes here from the following brands (H&M, Style&Co, Anne Klien, Limited, Ann Taylor, Express, Diesel, etc.) If you are patient, you can find great items. This store is very organized. The pants and skirts section has a lot to offer.

This store is GREAT! I have found so many bargains in glassware, frames, home décor, a trellis for my yard and clothes that fit me. I am a 2X and they usually have a wide selection, very stylish and trendy… love the bargain, and they fit me… helpful sales associates… I try to make it there at least twice a month…

I called ahead to see if we could drop off a furniture donation and they said yes. When I arrived with my couch set they said they don’t take ANY donations in this store. I like the concept of Good Will but they should make sure their employees are familiar with store policy.

This place has some really interesting stuff, unfortunately none of it I need or is priced too high.

This is a really small store, so you won’t find furniture here, unless it’s in boxes, unassembled or smaller furniture (end tables, a chair or two). This store is mostly clothing with smaller items like picture frames, dishes, toys, books.
I’ve found some pretty good stuff here, but it’s really hit and miss. A few designer (authentic) bags, Legos, clothing, and collectibles. But like I said, you can’t really count on scoring here every time.
The staff is friendly. Sometimes the line and the ringing up process can get long, so if you’re in a rush, don’t chance it. Just get your stuff and head for the register to give yourself a little leeway time.
It’s in a dated mini mall. There’s a See’s a store away. Larry’s Theatrical used to be next door. There’s also a really seedy bar, a cell phone place and some «fashion» stores that might be kind of fun to check out sometime.
I’d say if you’re passing by, stop in. But don’t make a special trip there.
The area is the Luther Burbank area of San Jose, and is a little bit on the sketchy side. Not too bad –I used to live in the neighborhood (on Raymond and Richmond) and it’s improved somewhat. Just take my advice and lock your car.

This goodwill pales in comparison to other Goodwills in SJ. It’s quite small. Their bathroom was also broken. However, they have some very random housewares (pretty sure I saw an injera basket??) that other places don’t have. Closes earlier than other goodwills in SJ.

So I’ve been to a lot of different Goodwills, I like that this place had everything organized by type of clothing, like long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, and that men and women are separated. I didn’t have very much luck but I’m sure that depends on your style. I didn’t like that this place didn’t organize their clothing my color like other ones I have been to. Also, their mens clothing selection is not so good. The staff seemed nice and I think I’m correct when I say that they have sodas for you to buy also. They had quite a large selection of belts and accessories like shoes and purses for women. It’s not my favorite place but there is a Sees Candies next door, so that’s a plus. It’s easy to miss because it’s in a plaza, though.

Typical Goodwill location with a decent sized menswear section. You will likely be able to find 2 – 3 pieces that may or may not work in the store.

This is like the Goodwill that poverty built. Most of the stuff is cheap quality junk and their only saving grace is the costume section which is as you know, seasonal.
The service was friendly and bubbly, but they have one of the worst selections of any Goodwill I’ve ever seen. As I described it to the honey, «This place is awful.»

This is the goodwill by my house. It’s definitely not the best one. Kind of my last resort Goodwill. I will say that I have on two separate occasions found some really good vintage purses and clutches. I think the purse/​belt section is the best. They usually have a lot of stuff from Target as well. Last time I saw brand new/​never worn tops and shoes from Target, some of which were currently still in stores.

Thin selection, overpriced, and indifferent service. Now and then there’s a sale, but I’ve been on enough fruitless visits to this place that I just don’t even bother any more. Your best bet in the immediate area is Savers on Parkmoor, about a quarter mile south.

My Opinion/​Story:
My review is based on the selection and quantity of books this place has. Store is small, a bit stuffy, less items but they do have plenty of hardbound books. I’m able to purchase several hardbound books for less than $ 2. Most of the books doesn’t even look like they’ve been read. I come here often just to get books. As for the other items, my husband was able to find a nice Tamrak Camera bag for $ 4.

This place wasn’t the best Goodwill I’ve been to, but I found some pretty decent items here, including a really pretty formal dress for $ 30, and some nice dress jackets for under $ 10. The place is smaller, but there is a decent selection with actually a good amount of contemporary styles, and it was pretty easy to find.

Went on Friday, a great sale, 50% off of clothes and glassware, usually this place is a miss for me.
The line was heinous, even with two people, must have been 10 people ahead of me. Went at 2pm.

I’ve always had good experiences at all the Goodwills I’ve been to until I came to this one. Things used to be cheap and you’d always find good finds. But I don’t know what happened to this one, but this particular store was a real disappointment. I guess they are «limited». It’s depressing. Don’t go in there!
