The food here is delicious and fresh. We ordered the huevos Mexicano and the super veggie burrito. Extremely fresh. The owners broke the eggs and cut the vegetables in front of us and made our food. Super tasty and healthy. Only suggestion: to have fresh salsa or habanero sauce to go with the food. However, they do serve complimentary chips and salsa. This place is definitely worth a try!

I love the food and the owner Jesus and his wife Amelia. They cook with love and I am never disappointed. The environment is welcoming and highly recommends eating here. they make the food right of the counter for you to watch if you want and bring it to you right when its done so its nice and hot. Gabby’s Taqueria is the best.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever eaten at! It’s lacking in décor inside but doesn’t matter when the food is so good. The people behind the register are friendly and helpful. I always get the lengua(beef tongue) big burrito but sometimes I’ll go for their tasty enchilado combination with rice and beans. Recently I’ve taken to doing their burrito and taco combination. The carnitas taco was absolutely superb. I highly recommend this place if you’re out and about looking for tasty Mexican food.

This place is a complete hole in the wall. The owner is so nice and helpful, but the place is usually empty which upsets me. Good service, good food, what’s not to love?

I love this place! it is close to 7trees and the owner Gabby and his wife are honest hard working people. I always enjoy the conversation while they make my food. I have been going here for quite a while and I always recommend Gabby’s to my friends.

Suffice to say this was one of the worst Mexican meals I’ve ever had? No? Well, here are the details: We were wandering about on a Sunday, when hunger made us not think. We had a $ 5 off who knows where from in the car at this«Gabby’s taqueria in Gilroy»… that was also valid in San Jose, so we said: heck, what do we lose? Well, how about: time, faith in Mexican food, hopes that restaurants cooks can be clean and respect for working class immigrants trying to make a living… that’s what we lost. But let’s talk about the food. Tacos were ok, nothing out of this world, but not bad either. I liked the tortillas(fresh and thick). The meat was grilled and tasted good. Burrito was another story: just bleh! Rice was good actually, but next to the refried beans that used real pig lard… repulsive. Actually, we could taste lard everywhere. On top of that, the place was not very clean and very small. I had the«great: idea» of going to the close by Panaderia to get some sweet buns to try and forget the food we just ate, but no… no luck for us… the«sweet bread» was stale and taste horrible too. At least the kids liked the sugar coat on them. Yuck! Never coming back.

as the first to review this place, might i say that it was an okay experience. i’m a clean freak, the only thing i have to complain is the lady who made my chicken burrito didn’t use gloves. she did it with bare hands & that kinda grossed me out. $ 3+ for a fat ass burrito & it ain’t too bad all!
