Wanted to get a very special cake for my sister’s baby shower, the first little baby in our immediate family :) Kristin did an amazing job! She was so helpful with helping us pick the right size for the amount of ppl, cake shapes and making our design ideas come to life. With the chaos of the party day, it was soooooo helpful that Kristin offered to deliver our cake and even put our cake topper in for us (we didn’t want to mess up the perfect cake). The best part of it all was… it tasted DELICIOUS! Everyone wanted to take some home. Big ups to Kristin Forty Winks, you’ll see us again soon! :)

Kristen, the owner of 40 Winks Bakery, is a fabulous person to work with. She baked and beautifully decorated my wedding cake for me. Below are just a few of the reasons why I would like to use her services again.
1. She is very responsive over email. She never left me waiting or made me think I wasn’t her first priority.
2. I changed my mind on cake ideas several times, and she was very accommodating with my indecisiveness.
3. I don’t know much about baking but she was able to explain to me why I should pick a certain type of frosting and why I should pick it.
4. She invited me, and my now husband, into her home for a personalized cake tasting.
5. Her cakes are so moist, light, and not overly sugary.
6. Bottom line, she is very dependable and her cakes are amazing. You’ll be doing yourself a favor by having Kristen bake your next cake.

We used Forty Winks to bake cookies for party favors for my son’s 1st birthday. We did an airplane theme birthday and the airplane cookies turned out wonderful and exactly what I wanted. The airplane cookies were the perfect size and tasted great. She also individually wrapped them and tied them with twine like I asked. I also added my own favor tags. The cookies were a great addition to the party and I plan on using forty winks for cookies and cakes for future birthday parties.

Absolutely Fantastic!!! I’m a foodie at heart and tried bakeries all over the country. Forty Winks can compete all day long! I ordered a Hummingbird Cake (one of their specialty cakes) It was THE BOMB! I followed it with a Maple Pecan Pie and Pumpkin Cheesecake, both were Ridiculously good! I can’t wait to see this grow to a store front. We need a bakery like this in San Jose! Next on my list is a custom cake :).

Kristen came highly recommended from a good friend, and she was absolutely fantastic! I wasn’t exactly sure what kind of design we wanted for our daughter’s 2nd birthday cake, except that she loved Olaf. Kristen suggested ‘Summer Olaf’ and OMG, what a perfect cake it was! The details of the snowflake garland, Olaf, everything, it was just beautiful. This wasn’t just a good looking cake, it tasted AH-​mazing too. (What good is a pretty cake if it doesn’t taste good??). We would recommend Forty Winks in a heartbeat. Kristen’s designs are tasty and amazing and she’s super easy to work with!

Kristen is absolutely amazing! After seeing her incredible creations on Facebook, I knew I had to order from her! I asked her to create a train themed smash cake for my son’s 2nd birthday, along with some cupcakes for the other guests. She messaged me several times with questions to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. I was pretty open and left the creativity up to her. And I am so glad I did. We were extremely happy with the final product. The cake was beautiful, and everything tasted so fresh and delicious. We also ordered a salted caramel apple pie from her this past Thanksgiving, and I cannot rave enough about it. The pie was gone in about two minutes, and my family did not touch any of the other desserts! We will definitely be ordering from Kristen again!

Forty Winks Bakery has done a great job for a baby shower and a bridal shower that I hosted! Kristen has always been able to take the party themes and transform them into beautiful cakes I couldn’t have even imagined and her cakes are delish! She communicates well throughout the whole process and is punctual with deliveries. Overall, a fantastic experience for both cakes and I would highly recommend.

We had Kristen make a cake for a celebration we were having for my in laws and boyfriend, not only did I ask her super last minute for the cake, but I also had no idea what I wanted! She went out of her way to get it made in less than 6 days and helped us choose what flavors and décor we wanted! It was an amazing cake, and amazing customer service! I was recommended to Forty Winks Bakery by an old friend from school. I used Forty Winks Bakery for my gender reveal party and baby shower in which I purchased cakes and cookies. Both my cakes were butter cream one with fresh fruit and the other with banana bread and cream cheese. Both cakes were extremely moist and I received nothing but compliments on how good they taste. I couldn’t agree more. The cookies were adorable and also really good. I will definitely use them again.

We purchased a Pumpkin Pie extraordinaire for Thanksgiving. It was the best I have ever eaten! There was a lot of love put into the baking for sure. Forty Winks will most definitely be my «go to» for special occasions… just DELISH!!!
