We provide high quality American Heart training programs like BLS (basic life support) for healthcare providers. As well as others classes like CPR/AED, first aid and pediatric classes.

History

Established in 2013.

First Support CPR & Training is a family owned business. Our company started as a service that we provided to special need families through JLDtherapy a pediatric occupational and speech therapy center that focuses on special needs. Soon after we started educating families we truly started to understand that the skills learned in the class room are skills that every person should know. In addition to the family level courses offerd at jldtherapy we wanted to expand to offer health care provider courses and reach more people with this valuable information which led us to open First Support CPR.

Business Owner

Tyler Davis has a background in Business Management with an emphasis in small business entrepreneurship and currently studies at San Jose State University. Tyler is an American Heart Instructor. He has been providing CPR and First Aid education for parents for the last 2 years. On his free time, Tyler enjoys gardening and playing disc golf with his son Oliver. He also likes taking care of his chickens and brewing beer.

First Support is an excellent business to get your CPR/AED certification card (BLS for Healthcare Provider). I highly recommend taking the classroom course (approx. 3 hrs) with Tyler. He is an excellent instructor, highly knowledgable, and fun. The course also utilizes manikins with built in lights that show if you’re performing the compressions correctly. It was a great experience for a first timer like myself.

Awesome experience. I went in to complete the Basic Life Support Skills Session. Not only was Tyler accommodating and flexible, he was super friendly and an awesome teacher. He was so patient and good at answering all my questions. The session went by quickly and I left feeling a lot more confident in my skills.

I highly recommend taking your CPR course with First Support!
I was actually a pain in the butt and had to reschedule multiple times but Tyler was very flexible and accommodating!
I did the lectures and quizzes online and showed up in the office for the hands on portion. This was very convenient as I was able to read and rewatch videos at my own pace. And the hands on portion was great too! Tyler answered any questions I had about the online portion and was very thorough with the hands on training.
If anyone needs CPR training– this is the way to go!

Tyler Davis from first support CPR classes was great. I found out about the class through searching the AHA website after realizing that my BLS certification was expired. I needed to complete a BLS re-certification class ASAP as I am a healthcare worker. Tyler made it sooooooo easy!!! I called him up, he told me how to sign up for the recertification class online and he scheduled me for a skills assessment the next day… In 24 hours I was able to renew my outdated BLS CPR certification. He is sooooo knowledgeable and easy to learn from. Before I completed the skills assessment he was willing to run through all of the AHA BLS recommendations with me. He answered all of my questions and more! At the end, I didn’t just receive a piece of paper certifying me to perform CPR and basic life support. .. Tyler really gave me the confidence to know that I could deal with an emergency situation and save a person’s life!!! I highly recommend Tyler Davis from First Support for anyone looking to get and renew CPR certification.

I highly recommend getting your CPR/First Aid/AED certification from First Support. I did the hybrid class. It was definitely affordable. The online portion was easy to understand and it was informative. I went in for the skills session and Tyler was great to work with! He was so accommodating, friendly, and patient with me. I of course waited till the last minute to sign up but I was able to register the night before for a 9am skill check. Jennifer is awesome! I did the skills session with her for BLS for healthcare providers renewal. I was done in about an hour and got my card right away. Definitely will recommend to friends and coworkers.

I had a great experience with 1^st Support! Tyler was super helpful and SO flexible and accomodating with scheduling! I did my skills session with Jennifer, and left feeling confident in my abilities! She answered all questions thoroughly and yet didn’t spend unnecessary time in areas I was showing competentency in.
They provided me with a code to access the online part A and this code + the skills session was $ 75! (Same price as their classroom option)
I definetly recommend using 1^st Support for your initial training or renewal!

In just a couple of hours, I was able to complete the BLS course for healthcare provider which my future employer requires me to have. First Support CPR is a great place to go. The staff is very friendly, they also are very flexible with your schedule. The classes are small which i really liked i felt that it was really hands on and never felt rushed. My CPR Card was ready the same day which was great cause I needed it for work. They have really nice and new manikins that had lights that lets you know you are doing it right. Over all I was really happy and will defiantly recommend them to my friends.
