E-Z Clean Carwash

Overall not very great. They claim their rinse is spotless while the car is covered in hard water spots afterwards which makes the whole car wash almost useless. False advertising at its best. For the money needed to get the car properly washed I am better off just driving through the car wash where the car is also being spotlessly dried.

So this place i use to give 5stars but today i went to wash my car around sunset almost night time, this guy comes up to me apparently the «owner» as so he told me. He came up to me very RUDE and told me if a car comes up to move my car or HELL MAKE ME MOVE IT! Now i was almost dne drying off my car and he didnt let me finish. I payed for washing my car here! If i move up the next car will make mine wet because of the air blowing the mist. Definitely NOT COMING HERE EVER AGAIN! Oh and he left once i moved my car! I honestly feel discriminated!!!

Nice good old car wash stall. It’s a do it yourself carwash. If you use the brush to scrub your car, I highly recommend blasting as much sediment prior to even laying the brush on your paint. I use my own bucket and microfiber sponge and my own kind of soap, McGuire gold, to clean my vehicle. $ 3 gets you just over 3 minutes. They have equal number of drying stalls. They have vacuums and trash bins at the vacuuming/​drying stall only. They have a ringer. They have a quarter machine and bill breaker.

This car wash works as it should be. I had no problem using the coin machine. However $ 3 only bought 3 minutes and I ended up spending more than $ 6. I don’t know how other people do it, but this is definitely not a leisurely car washing experience. You have to clean fast and always in a hurry before the next beep asking for more coins.

I am so happy to have found this hidden treasure! E-​Z clean carwash was an awesome experience! Very simple, and clean! The name sums it up pretty exact! I will be a frequent visitor no doubt! I am a native of San Jose and can’t believe I never new this treasure existed!

The car wash itself is ok, but the coin change machine is another story.
I put in a $ 5 bill and out of supposedly $ 5 quarters, I ended up with $ 4.25 in quarters and 3 yellow video game coin of some sort, fake quarter.
Whoever that was restocking the coin machine could have easily spotted the yellow fake coin out of silver quarters, but they didn’t care and put it back into the machine instead of take them out of circulation.
It’s like getting fake money out of an ATM, just unacceptable. I had to throw away the 3 coins.
Each quarter earns you 30 more seconds. Price is up to $ 3 now each 4 min session, as of 7÷21÷2015

I’m very surprised this place is still in business due to the drought we are experiencing but I’m also grateful that it is because I don’t want to get fined for washing my car on my drive way. I go here all the time and I’m very satisfied with their washing system. I never had a problem except for one time when their credit card machine didn’t work. Other than that, nothing else. The area may seem a little sketchy at first but it’s really not. I usually go here at night because of the summer heat and I’ve never had an uncomfortable experience. However, there are homeless people around at night walking by and sometimes digging through the trash cans but they’ve never bothered me. Coming here during the day is nice too but it can get really busy.

This is a good place to wash your ride.
Safe neighborhood and surroundings. Clean.
Credit Card machines in each stall.
Good equipment and selection of cleaning/​rinse/​wax liquids.
Vacuum cleaners are powerful and run a while. Just $ 1.50.

Wow one of the best do it yourself carwashes I have been to! 10 different steps each with a specific function, fantastic place, would definitely come again!

Good car wash. They took their time and were quite thorough with the wash. Payment inside the service station was I bit confusing but we figured it out. My credit card company tagged the transaction as being unusual but after a quick phone call, payment went through.

After reading about the disgraceful behavior of the owner of this rat hole in his interaction with former customer Alejandra G., I’ve decided to downgrade my rating to the lowest possible so anyone reading this review know the kind of low life scum individual running this place. As abusive and unprofessional as it can get.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Forget about drying your car with air pressure here. Also, the area is kind of sketchy. I went to wash my car around 9pm and a guy came up to me kind of aggressive asking me for change. As soon as I mentioned him the magic number «911» he left the location.

I stopped at this car wash on my way home from work. The stall I used ate my quarters. I tried to find the guy that works there but he left. I tried to call and call to no avail. I did not get an answer and no recorder even letting the phone ring 20 30 times. So I found a small scrap of paper and put a note with my number in the mail box and an out of order note in the stall. I was trying to, help so other customers would not loose money like I did. The owner called at almost 9 at night and told me never to do that again and went on and on how he was trying to run a business and people could still use the credit card machine, I was only trying to help. I said he should answer his phone and not nicely and he hung up on me. I did not deserve his rudeness which prompted me to say that. I was exhausted as well since I had no sleep the night before. He would not answer his phone as I wanted to apologize. I even blocked my number and tried to call the next day still no answer. I don’t think that is trying to run a business and everyone I talk to said I should not feel bad for being nasty as he should not have talked to me and called late in the first place. He is only worried about money he lost through the credit card machine. He should answer his phone and he would not have lost money. And for anyone that wants to use a credit card there I would think twice. The machines could easily be tampered with and you could be scammed. Anyone that can’t at least buy a recorder for his business does not care enough to monitor anything else either. He just cares about the money. He does not even deserve a star.

The credit card machines were broken! I had to try different Visa/​MasterCard, but nothing worked. There’s nothing wrong with my card as I just used it barely a few hours earlier. What a disappointment as I was looking forward to getting my car cleaned and waxed.

Went to get my truck cleaned– had to vacuum first cause all the wash stalls were full. Vacuums were super strong and got the whole front cleaned out for $ 1.50.
I need some towels and met the owners (?) reaping the dispenser that had been broken into, nice guy who took care of my needs even though he had to go get stuff from a store room.
Wash was strong and suds were sufficient, brush was boar hair and clean-​plus you can use your debit or credit card with a $ 3.00 min. Spent about $ 7 on truck

The only self service coin car wash in South San Jose. They now accept credit cards & have a change machine as well.
I much prefer to go to the self car wash near my work by Great America, but if I simply must go on the weekend to wash off the bird poop from parking at said workplace, then I come here.
Everything has always worked for me, but my big complaint is that this place is gold digger!!! Or should I say silver digger, as it takes all my hard earned quarters. $ 2.75 to get you started, but each additional quarter only gets you 20 seconds at most! I shell out $ 6+ to get my car soaped and rinsed & we don’t even do all the recommended cycles!

This is the only coin carwash i have ever been able to find in South SJ.
Everything seemed to work properly, no real complaints there. I did not vaccum the car, so I can’t comment on that equipment.
The only qualm i had here was that it seemed so expensive to use. I think once the initial time runs out each additional quater only gains you 20 – 30 secs. One quater usually gains you 1 minutes at other coin car washes, at least the ones ive been to.
on a side note, what is it with people that love to come to car washes and blast their music sssoooooo loud?!?

I thought this was a nice little carwash area. I came here on a Monday Evening, and it was quite busy! I was still able to get a spot (lucky me). The Vacuum time is really quick. On one turn, I was only able to vacuum the floors of my car. There are trash cans on the sides of each station.
The carwash part is very fun. It was my first time, so I tried option they had. If you use credit card, it will continually charge you until you press STOP.
Overall, 10 $ carwash + vacuum only because I was playing with the rinse gun machine.

Clean stalls. Customers are usually are polite and pull out after washing cars. Last 4 times I have been to EZ Clean the Wheel Cleaner was not working. There was no sign stating that it was not working and I wasted time and money waiting for it to kick on. It would of been a 5 Star review if the wheel cleaner would of worked (or at least posted it was out of order…)

Took a trip to CVS and got change, went back I put 5 bucks. didn’t finish in 4 mins… with soap still on the car i drove to cvs again and got change. came back finished up and drove away forever. this place is dirty and there are no workers to help you if you have questions.

You only get 4 minutes to wash and rinse your car. It costs $ 2.75. It’s not enough time to wash and rinse a car thoroughly, and if you have an SUV, figure on 3 times times that amount.
Also, the soap leaves a residue, so you really need to rinse the car more than once.
