Excellent and professional provider. The office is run very efficiently. I was not a candidate for the procedure I wanted so I didn’t have a second appointment. There was a counselor sent into the room to explain the procedures; she seemed more focused on cost than medical concerns but I won’t fault the offie for that because the doctor was willing to spend a few minutes answering questions.

Wayyyy to expensive.

I had my Epi-​lasik procedure done on Jan 7 2016 and all I can say is NOBODY could have done a better job then Dr. Bindi.
I went to consultation with Dr. Bindi and Dr. Scott Hyver, between these two it was a no brainer to choose Dr. Bindi and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Bindi not only had a reasonable price but sat down and explained very thoroughly about the procedure, explained very well why I can’t get the regular lasik and need epi-​lasik and answered all questions and concerns. Dr. Hyver just walked in like a celebrity and rushed me through the 70 second meeting I had and then told me to ask his counselor any questions I have and gave me a ridiculous price and the counselor spent more time praising/​advertising Dr. Hyver and how great he is instead explaining the procedure and answering my concerns. I can go on about the negative experience I had at Dr. Hyver but that is not what this is about.
On the procedure day Dr. Bindi explained everything that was happening while he fixed my blindness. He calmed me every second through the nerve wreaking procedure as I was so nervous and didn’t take the Anti-​anxiety meds since I’m a breastfeeding mom. The procedure literally took 5 mins and I was out. He reassured me I was not going to die and told me that I can call the office or walk-​in anytime I have an issue. I left very happy and with no questions since they are very good at explaining every tiny detail that you might have not thought about or forgot to ask. You walk out knowing everything step by step.
My recovery was a breeze. I had light sensitivity the evening of procedure but that is my fault I did not put the drops as advised that day, other then that I had no pain or discomfort. The next morning I was perfectly fine just made sure I used the drops as told and not wait for the pain to start. I was ahead of the game and each day was getting better and better.
Post-​Op visit were great I’m 3 weeks into my 3 month recover and feel GREAT I have ²⁰⁄₂₅ vision and it’s going to get better day by day. I can’t believe it, i already feel I can see perfect and yet this is not even the end result it’s going to get even better. I liked how Dr. Bindi sits down and addresses all concerns even now at post op visits and explains what has happened since last time he saw me and what will happen, usually some doctors just want to do the formality of seeing you and rush you out since now they already got your money. Dr. Bindi reassures me every time that in case ever I have an issue I can always walk in and that he is there for his clients.
Overall I am extremely happy with my procedure, experience and results and will recommend Dr. Bindi to anyone who is considering lasik/​epi-​lasik.

I had my LASIK procedure 10 days ago. First of all, when I decided to have my eyeballs lasered I only wanted to go to the best. I booked consultations at both Stanford with Dr. Manche and also at Laser Eye Center with Dr. Bindi. Mr. Manche’s office was nice but a bit sterile and I was kept waiting for a while. I would have been fine having my surgery there, but when I met with Dr. Bindi I felt a sense of warmth and the whole process seemed so easy and comfortable. Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly, especially Matt who jumped through hoops to help get my antibiotic drops when my pharmacy claimed to have lost my prescription. The day of the procedure was great — much easier and more calm than I expected. Everyone was SO NICE despite the fact that they must do this dozens and dozens of times per week (guessing here). I felt well cared for, they were sensitive to the fact that this was a new and kind of nerve wracking thing for me as the patient, and Dr. Bindi was very communicative throughout the entire LASIK procedure. He told me what to expect, what I should be seeing, and so on. It was completely painless and I was in and out before I knew it. At my follow up appointment less than 24 hours later my eyesight was already ²⁰⁄₂₀ in one eye and ²⁰⁄₂₅ in the other and is even clearer now, 10 days out. Yesterday they called to check on me which was sweet. I am very happy with my experience from start to finish and like most of us who have LASIK, recommend it highly. Honestly, it was no worse than having an eye exam. Just do it. Thanks again Dr. Bindi, Matt, and everyone else!

So incredibly impressed and happy with the Wavefront LASIK procedure performed by Dr. Bindi. I went in for a screening in November, and had the surgery performed yesterday. Dr Bindi had a fantastic bedside manner, talking me through the procedure, letting me know what was going on, and just generally assuaging any lingering nervousness I had. I just got back from my follow-​up appointment, where I learned that I’m now rocking ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision in both eyes. After wearing glasses and occasionally contacts for the last 30 years, this was amazing to hear.
I will most definitely be recommending Dr. Bindi and the staff at Laser Eye Center of Silicon Valley to any of my friends, coworkers, acquaintances, or strangers that might be considering laser vision correction. It’s truly life-​changing.

Craig Bindi is basically Jesus, restoring sight to the blind. All jokes aside, Dr. Bindi not only gave me fantastic vision but also made me feel very at ease and comfortable during the first surgical procedure I’ve ever had. All of the staff is so great and accommodating to the patient’s needs. Plus they give you chocolate and Valium before the surgery ;)

I had my all laser lasik yesterday — amazing! I can see better than I ever could with contacts. The recovery was minimal. The surgery itself takes about 10 minutes and Dr Bindi talks you through everything. This helped a lot. I highly recommend Dr Bindi. Excellent service and a efficient office.

A little about my experience with Dr. Bindi and his staff.
First off I am professional racing driver and a test driver for Tesla Motors. I need to have perfect vision.
My vision wasn’t terrible but I need it perfect or as close to it as possible because of what I do.
I went in on a Friday Dec 11^th
I had epi-​lasik performed which takes a little longer to recover from than standard lasik.
The surgery went great, and Dr. Bindi and his staff were accommodating and very professional. They walked me through every step and were very thorough. Even the instructions for post surgery was on point.
My first post-​op appointment went well and I had the bandage contact removed. My vision has been very good to blurry for 2 weeks and has now stabilized.
About 2 weeks after the surgery it was time to stop using the Durezol (anti-​inflammatory) so I threw it away and was doing fine. The last drop was on a Friday. By Monday I had the worst light sensitivity. It was agonizing. Even my cell phone was too bright and I was at work. I gave Dr. Bindi’s office a call and emailed him. I received a response and got a call back from his staff. I went down to his office to pick up some more of the Durezol and he recommended I take it for another 2 weeks.
Right now my vision distance wise is amazing. I should have done this sooner. My vision close up has deteriorated but I was warned that could happen. It gets better every day though. My eyes are a little dry still but that’s also normal after a procedure like this.
Tomorrow will be 2 more weeks and my 1 month post-​op is on Wed. Hopefully the light sensitivity is permanently gone.
My experience here has been great and I would recommend anyone to Dr. Bindi. Class act and knows his stuff.

I’m very happy that I had this procedure done, and think that Dr Bindi was a really great choice. I was 20/​40, and after a month I was ²⁰⁄₁₅. Every couple days I’d say my eyes might feel kind of dry at the end of the day, kind of like as if I’d worn my contacts too long? It’s only been a month and a half though, and this supposedly keeps getting better. Well if it stayed like this I wouldn’t be upset either. It’s just good for you to know. I’d do it again 100 out of 100 times. I really almost forget that I used to see the world blurry, but when I stop to think about it, I’m amazed.
For the procedure I was super scared, especially after the first flap cutting part (omg I can’t see). After that part he was like «wow you seem really calm» and I said, «I’m just trying not to move». He goes, «I see, you’re completely terrified». He’s a really gentle guy and talks you through the whole thing, and it’s over super quickly. I was like, why don’t I feel the Valium, and he said your anxiety can counteract the effects, but once I stood up, it hit me and I ran into the wall a few times coming out. Then I took a nap, woke up, and could see, although my eyes hurt for a few days, and also car lights at night were super bright for a few days. Anyways, the place is great, I highly recommend Dr Bindi, and his staff.

Was it scary? Yes! It’s my eyeballs! And lasers in my eyeballs for that matter! I was –5.25, –5.75 glasses since the 3^rd grade. A good friend got me LASIK as a gift so I was super lucky. I could see better right after the procedure, blurry but better right away. After my Valium high wore off after a nap my vision was almost perfect. After my follow up 24hours later my vision was ²⁰⁄₁₅! Better than ever. Would I recommend it? Duh? I totally understand the hesitation but if you could see better than you ever have in your life and Dr. B accepts you as a patient please do it!

I had exam at Dr Bindi office for qualification of lasik treatment. He told me that if I have any questions just email him and he will get back. However, my question was never answered by him even though I have emailed several time to follow up. Not sure it is hard question to answer. But I dont like that attitude and apply it for client

My husband (Lance Coleman) recently did his «mono vision» procedure here. I was a little skeptical of his choice of doctor as I hadn’t heard of him. So, I went on Unilocal and all the reviews were great.
He had his procedure and is thrilled. What I noticed through this, is that the doctor (Dr. Bindi) is a delightful person and not the LEAST BIT conceited like I had expected from someone that has done this procedure for many celebrities.
In fact, when I jokingly (not totally joking) said «What an honor to meet a celebrity doctor…» or something like that, he said «I’m just an eye doctor.» VERY modest and genuine. Refreshing experience and hubby is thrilled.
HIGHLY recommend because this is a person that performs thousands of these procedures including many celebrities. He is also one of the few doctors in the country that performs «Kamra» which is basically to get your vision more than perfect for both eyes, distance and close.
Thank you Dr. Bindi, wish we had found you sooner, but I plan to go to you for KAMRA in the future.

I know writing this review is just an extra coz the business has all 5 stars. I had been wearing glasses since 6^th grade with –4.5 near-​sighted and –0.75 astigmatism. I did lots of researches before deciding on doing lasik. I even watched Dr. Oz show in which he warned us about bad lasik, and it scared me. However, I was really tired of wearing glasses and contact lenses. I only met Dr. Bindi 3 quick times: consultation, surgery and 3-​month check up. Most of the time, I got my questions answered by assistances or another doctor. Here is the sum up: the surgery costs almost 5k, if you pay in one time, they will give you $ 200 discount. This cost includes the free touch-​up in one year if the result is not ²⁰⁄₂₀. After one year, you can come in anytime if you get near-​sighted again. I don’t remember how much you have to pay after, but its not much. I think this is a good cover if I ever get near-​sighted again. The whole surgery is very quick, in-​and-​out probably 5 mins. Dr. Bindi kept talking to me to make me less nervous. I wasn’t. I was very comfortable. The surgery room was cold, but you can have a blanket. The laser smells a lil uncomfortable like something burns. They will give you a sun glasses after the surgery. My surgery went smoothly and I’m ²⁰⁄₂₀ and ²⁰⁄₁₅ now. In the first month, my eyes were tired, and I had to use eyes drop often. There was one day I felt so tired and I slept more than 12 hours because my eyes were extremely tired. Using eyes drop often to avoid drying your eyes. By the way, remember to ask for the samples of treatment drops in the construction for your eyes after the surgery. You don’t have to buy them because they are expensive (usually insurance does nit cover) and you only use them for the first week. The only drop you need to buy is non-​preservative which you can get at Target. This surgery is my best investment so far. Trust me, you wont regret it. I feel so amazing looking at the board with clearly words, driving at night without being blurry by glasses. On top of that, I wont have to pay for glasses and contact lenses every year. Awesome! Oh! One more thing you need to consider is the payment. If you don’t care about having your credit scores drop significantly (mine dropped 50 points), you can apply for Care Credit. If you do, I think its better to pay in one time even Care Credit offers 24 month no interest. Thats pretty much about my surgery. It was absolutely not scary at all :)

Awesome service and great results! I had a terrible prescription before I went in (been wearing glasses since the 4^th grade) with astigmatism. Had the wavefront LASIK in January and after the 3 months of healing, my eyes only got to ⁴⁰⁄₂₀ and ⁶⁰⁄₂₀. Not a problem. Touch ups are free within the first year, so I went back in for another quick procedure and now I’m down to ²⁰⁄₂₀! Really amazing to be able to read the time across the room, see license plate numbers, or each leaf clearly on a tree without glasses!
Dr. Bindi’s bedside manner is great and professional. His staff are very helpful and polite. I was referred here by a friend who has maintained her excellent ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision years after the procedure.
They take FSA dollars, give a discount if you have VSP and/​or pay in full up front. So if your work offers any of these, take advantage. One of the best decisions I’ve made this year!

It’s been 3 years since I’d had correctional surgery to improve my vision and I have no complaints. Although my vision did adjust slightly — I am still free of glasses or contact lenses (and hopefully it remains that way).
Dr. Bindi had been referred to me by a close friend who also had her procedure performed here and 12 yrs later she still has great vision!
I am very satisfied with the results. Best investment I’ve made! I also didn’t experience any major side affects from the surgery aside from dryness.
What I don’t understand are the reviews which claim how expensive this procedure is. You’re paying for quality & expertise & your eyesight is never something you want to bargain with.

It has been 9 months since I had the lasik eye surgery and things are looking awesome.
I called back in August 2015 for a consult and was hoping to do a same day consult and surgery on a Saturday but with my funky astigmatism eyes, I could not go that route.
Dr. Bindi recommended a different lasik surgery for my eyes that requires more than just a day for healing. So I reschedule to have the lasik done in September. He recommended doing the surgery Friday morning and then have Friday through Tuesday to recover. You do have to a followup within 2 – 3 days from the surgery to check the healing of your eyes. I returned back to work on Wednesday with some slight blurriness and dryness but that was expected from the surgery. After that, you have follow ups every month for a few months.
The whole procedure itself was so short. I believe it was 10 seconds in one eye and about 17 seconds for the other eye. My left eye was sooo bad that I guess it just needed a little more work. The laser part was not at all painful. It was pretty nerve wrecking but the staff really tries to make you feel comfortable. The only part that hurt for me was the. eye opener thing? To help prevent you from closing your eyes. They put these little clear plastic like things in your eyes so it helps you keep your eyes open. If you try to close your eyes with those things, it hurts just a tad but if you relax and just try to keep your eyes open, then you wont feel it.
From the beginning to the end, Dr. Bindi and his staff were so friendly that it was just a comfortable setting to be in despite that fact that soon you will have lasers in your eyes! The price to get the lasik done is, I think average. You have to think, these are for your eyes! Some people that I spoke with say that it was expensive but I think about 2,000 an eye is reasonable.
Dr. Bindi carefully selects his patients, if he believes it will be risky, he would suggest not going with lasik. I do trust what he tells me and he did an amazing job explaining the different kinds of surgery. I highly recommend going to see Dr. Bindi. I have already recommended a few of my friends just to do a consult with him.
It has been 9 months. I have ²⁰⁄₂₀ in both eyes. I came from –3.00 and a –8.00 with astigmatism and I was nearsighted. It was scary at first, because my eyes were still blurry when he did say I should be able to drive. I did drive to and from work but I did drive much slower! Just because I had a difficult time seeing those big freeway signs. Dryness was an issue but I had plenty of eye drops. Dr. Bindi was worried about my left eye which was worse than my right. He said that after my 4 – 6 month follow up, if i did not have ²⁰⁄₂₀ he will repeat the surgery (no extra charge) so that I can get ²⁰⁄₂₀. Love it! I didnt need to come back for a repeat surgery but it was nice to know that I could have received on without extra charge if i needed it.
Great, clean facility with ample parking. Also, the wait times are not bad. He keeps up with the schedule. I hardly had to wait more than 15 minutes for my scheduled appointment. Also, he mention that if I had any sort of eye problems during my healing phase that I can come in for an appointment — free of charge.

I had been wearing glasses/​contacts for over 30 years, and I had the same prescription for over 15 years. I was near sighted with astigmatism.
My prescription was –7.5, –2, Axis 005 (L) –7.5, –2.00, Axis 169 ®.
I looked into Lasik years ago but never took the plunge. I began researching again after hearing a co-​worker rave about her recent procedure.
After some research and asking around I made an appointment with Dr. Bindi in his SJ office.
Dr. Bindi’s entire office staff was great to interact with. They made me feel at ease from the initial consultation to the day of the procedure. The procedure was expensive but totally worth it considering that it is a life changing experience.
I had my procedure done 3 days ago and so far everything is amazing. For the first time in years I can see as soon as I wake up!
For anyone who is considering the procedure I highly recommend Dr. Bindi.

My vision was amazing after the surgery, but gradually declined a little during the first three month. Dr. Bindi confidently told me I can do whatever I like after the surgery, he said it’s fine to stay up late, and it’s fine to play computer for a long time. However, these are not true, I feel a significant difference after excessive use of my eyes. I wish I could protect my eyes well so that my vision would still be amazing.
Got my lasik surgery done in 2013, Dr. Bindi is professional, the surgery was painless and fast, actually quite enjoyable with Pink Floyd music playing in the background. In the first three month after the surgery, my night vision was bad, all the lights were blurry in my eyes, and I felt my eyes extremely dry when I get up in the morning, but it is not a problem since these symptoms are temporary. My eyes feel perfect right now, no more halo & dryness.
The cost (5000+) is high comparing to other laser eye clinics. You can get it done cheaper at other places with the same 5^th generation machine. However, eyes are so important and invaluable, and therefore it’s not a bad idea to pay more to buy a trust here because of the excellent reputation, especially if you’ve never done vision correction surgery before and have no idea about it.
You got several follow up exams and the warranty to re-​do the surgery. You can do post exams for a year which is a good thing if you like to check you vision constantly, and it’s not necessary to go everytime if your eyes feel allright. During the post exams, you’ll get eye drops for free, I didn’t use them because my eyes feel better using preservative free eye drops. Nobody wants to re-​do the surgery even though it feels comfortable, but you can. In the warrenty, you can re-​do two eyes, but one eye will expire a year after the initial surgery.
I got to thank Dr. Bindi for his expertise, my life definitely improved after the surgery, with a bit regrets but still the best decision i’ve ever made. The facility is fancy and well organized, parking is easy, perfect environment, stuffs are nice as well.
Unless you wear cosmetic contact lens for beauty purposes, get your surgery done and dispose of your glasses!

I am writing this 9 months after my LASIK procedure and I’m still so happy I bit the bullet and went for it. I’m still so happy with it, I’m making it my 200^th review.
My initial fears when I decided to get my eyes done were:
1. Death
2. Exploding eyeballs
3. Bankruptcy
And despite these fears, I figured the online accolades for Dr. Bindi would be reassuring enough for me to proceed without succumbing to disaster. I’m glad I did my research because the whole process was easy.
I had a consultation meeting on Dec 17^th. This was the only downside– I was waiting for at least an hour. Dr Bindi must be insanely busy and I was kept waiting so long, my phone ran out of battery.
However when he did finally meet me, he walked me through the process on his ipad, showing me visually what the surgery entailed. Another lady walked me through the finances and the prescriptions I would be required to get. The cost was about $ 3700 total for my right eye (–4.75) and left eye (–2.50) both of which had astigmatism.
On Dec 20^th, I went in early, during which the assistant gave me Valium and numbing eye drops. I was completely dazed during the surgery, which was probably a good thing when a laser is coming at your eye, but luckily the surgery was over in 15 minutes. My mom was with me, which I’m thankful for because I was unable to walk when I went to Costco to pick up my prescription eye drops. NOTE: DO THIS BEFORE SURGERY NOT AFTER.
I was also given googles to protect my eyes at night, wearing them for about a week.
I slept off the Valium and the next day, I was up and about. My vision was pretty clear save for at night, when light would appear with halos. My eyes were super dry but I started taking Omega 3, 6, and 9 and haven’t had any issue since.
It’s seriously a life changer procedure, and I would recommend getting it done in the hands of Dr Bindi.
