Both the dentist and the staff have nothing to hide! We let our patients know about all of their options up front and in as much detail as each patient requires. We give estimates based on all our current knowledge of your insurance. If something changes, we inform the patient as soon as we know. All of our treatment plans include all options and we do everything in our control to avoid surprises.

We offer cutting edge technology to all of our patients. X-​rays are taken digitally, which reduces radiation as much as 90%. We offer intra-​oral pictures at no cost, so that you can see what we see.

Our dentist stays up-​to-​date with the best procedures and best products. He also constantly participates in continuing education to make sure he stays current on all dental knowledge. Our dentist also uses gentle techniques to cause little or no pain during visits.

We started Pries Dental Care in February 2007. Our goal was to start a practice that gave patients a gentle, caring experience using high-​tech procedures and techniques. Our mission statement:

Business Owner

Dr. Kostantinos (Gus) Pries received his Bachelors degree Cum Laude in General Biology from San Jose State University in 2002. He pursued his dental education at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and received his D.D.S. degree in 2005. His interest in learning and continuing his education in General Dentistry led him to complete a General Practice Residency at the San Francisco Veteran’s Affairs Hospital. His residency training gave him further experience in cosmetics, periodontics, implants, oral surgery, dentures, and other advanced restorative procedures, which he uses on a daily basis. After gaining practice and confidence working as an associate, Dr. Pries decided to open his own practice back in his home city of San Jose, known as Pries Dental Care. Dr. Pries attends continuing education events on a regular basis to broaden his knowledge of new innovative procedures, techniques and products.
