This is the second time I had Ruben work on my house. He has been really pleasant to work with that I decided to have him install the front door. He did our kitchen window and patio French door the first time and they were done really nicely! This time the front door came out just amazingly beautiful! Ruben takes pride of his work and the attention to details is what I really appreciate. I will definitely have him come back and work on more house projects.

Great service! I had four things that needed to be fixed around the house and Ruben came over and was clean, fast and did great work! and guess what? The price was great! I highly recommend this company!

I cannot say enough about how great it was to work with Ruben. When I was looking for someone to reframe a door in my bathroom I called multiple contractors. Ruben called me back right away, made an appointment with me for the same day and was on time. The bid he gave me was concise, fair and done in a professional manner. He said it would take a day and a half and he was spot on. His work was awesome, he kept the area extremely clean. He even noticed another door of mine was not lined up right and he fixed it for us as a courtesy. Next time I need work done on my home I know exactly who to call. How hard is it to get someone to install doors? Harder than you’d think. So I felt very lucky to find Ruben! I needed several interior and exterior doors replaced; Ruben was very quick to respond and do an estimate, and got everything done promptly with excellent workmanship.

Ruben is the man! Needed some stucco work and a patio door to be installed. He came by the next day after the initial phone call. The bid was the lowest. He was able to finish the job in the original time promised. Throughout the job Ruben was very friendly and gave me advice regarding my home remodel. He also did a very good job cleaning up when the job was completed. Definitely will call him for future work!

I was very impressed with Ruben! I needed help with a property I was selling that had a lot of cracks in the exterior stucco. On one part of the house the stucco completely fell apart and buckled. I found him on Unilocal and asked how soon he could come out to see why this was happening and how it could be fixed. He came out immediately, worked well with the seller, gave a great price to repair, explained the whole process in layman’s terms, and scheduled the work to be done right away. His finished job was really impressive (I couldn’t tell where the old stucco left off and the new stucco began). His texturing was very professional. And his English is fantastic! It is my pleasure to write this unsolicited recommendation on behalf of Ruben Cardova.
Ruben was the contractor for a retrofit window project on the exterior of my house in the spring of 2014. This was part of a minor remodel project. The scope of the work involved window replacement. (10 windows) The project was completed in 2 days to my satisfaction.
While remodeling is inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, Ruben’s services as a contractor were invaluable, and I am extremely pleased with the final result.
Specifically,
I would give Ruben top marks in the following areas:
1. Quality of work performed– The quality of work done was consistent and professional. Ruben was diligent about cleanliness and precision. He was conscientious about following my specifications, and his work product rarely needed improvement or revision.
2. Project knowledge, management and effectiveness. Ruben’s prior experience working in window retrofitting really paid off, specifically on my project as my steel windows were very old. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of our project, and was able to plan, coordinate and complete project effectively. He remained involved in the project from start to finish.
Ruben’s familiarity with building codes also facilitated a smooth and
hassle-​free process when it came to building permits and inspection.

Ruben just finished installing three windows for me. I worked with him through email and phone as I live across the country and honesty and integrity are a must have in this situation. I contacted him, he came out and took measurements and sent me a quote, I forwarded the quote to the HOA for approval, once approved I sent a deposit for the windows, he ordered them and advised me when they came in. He worked with my tenants to install the windows and he just sent me photos of the condo with new windows! So far… No issues, no problems!

I had Ruben install some windows for me. he is honest and straightforward, told me when and if something can or cannot be done. his price is good too and started the next day after getting the measurements. he seems to know construction/​remodeling well. also, I did notice that once when he was cutting a piece of wood for the window trim, he seemed very focused on getting the precise measurements, which is of course is what you want in a contractor.

Ruben is a very thorough and reliable worker. He is neat in his work and clean up. His attention to detail make the window and the two doors we got replaced by him look very nice. I recommend him very highly.

My window broke when my child threw a piece of wood at it. He thought it would bounce back like a ball! Well, I called Cordova construction to come down and fix it. He came by the same day, measured and fixed it for a great price. Awesome guy

It is Saturday!!! We needed our retail store’s front door boarded up (after a rock was thrown through it). Ruben answered our call and came over before we were open for business. He was helpful and did an outstanding job! Thank you so much Ruben!

Ruben did a marvelous job with our windows. He is professional, very reasonably priced, and honest. The windows were delivered and installed as promised and they really look great. The sound is reduced and we have a warmer home. We had 7 windows replaced in less than 24 hours– with no mess to anything else in the house. I had to replace a kitchen window I looked on the internet and found Cordova Construction. This company caught my eye by there professional website and the excellent pictures that were posted showing their work.
I met Ruben who came to my house and gave me an estimate which I was pleased with. Ruben was very pleasant and professional. I was happy with the work that was completed Ruben personally installed the window.

Ruben was GREAT. We used him to replace the glass on a really old window on a rental property in Saratoga, as well as a new window at my parent’s house. He was very professional and got the job did quickly, as well as for a reasonable rate.

Rueban installed three glass windows in my house. The bid was very reasonable and the quality of the job was very good. Everything was done pretty quick and as promised.

I had already experienced Ruben’s work with a french door that he installed so my wife and I went ahead with him to install our windows. The quote he gave was good but his previous work is what sold us.
Ruben & his crew work fast and are clean. We had 22 windows installed or retrofitted and 5 new construction windows. The retrofitted windows were placed in a day and a half and the new construction took 2 –3 more days because of the stucco work which was very hard and time consuming work. The stucco needed to be hammered out and frames needed to be constructed to hold the new windows up. Then of course the new stucco was placed which was very impressive because it matched the same pattern of the current stucco. To finalize the job, caulking was placed outside of all the windows, then insulation and molding was placed on the interior. I forgot to mention that they even removed and reinstalled all of our blinds, which takes time as well.
The crew was on time every day and even went over the hours that they agreed on per day.
We are very happy with our windows and very impressed with the new windows. What pleased us the most is the great work that Ruben & his crew displayed in what seemed as a short amount of time.
If you ever need good and honest work, Ruben is the MAN.

We found Rueban from craiglist and made sure he is a licensed contractor before he installed and replaced our window. His price is reasonable and his crew showed up as promised. Everything was fine and dandy until the storm came. Our window leaked. After contacting Rueban, he showed up and promised to fix the problem. He suggested we should repaint the stucco to seal. We end up having him painting the wall. We might have him come back repainting the whole outside if his price is reasonable.

Rueban runs a tight ship, however he is not always present to keep that ship moving in the right direction. I called Cordova to install interior doors and was left wanting more. I had to call Rueban in to finish the job after one of his crew members miscut a door.
His bid was great for the job, he’s a couple of steps away from being a complete professional contractor.
The items he needs to work on are listed below:
1. Don’t argue with the customer.
2. Don’t train your men on other people time and money.
3. Bid on what you can accomplish with tools you already own.
4. Did I say be respectful to the customer.
5. Keep your timeline.
