Based out of San Jose, Chola Desserts proudly brings a little flavor of the Chola/​Chicana culture into most of the desserts. Flavors such as Horchata and Churro Cupcakes, Abuelita (Mexican Hot Chocolate) and Mexican Wedding Cookies to name a few.

Chola Desserts has a wide variety of cupcake flavors that include:

Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Lemon/​Orange, Red Velvet, Pumpkin, Egg Nog (Holidays), Spice, Brownie/​Cheesecake, Carrot. We also have regular/​mini rum cakes that are a hit for any occasion.

Our cookies include sugar and shortbread in most any shape you can thing of… and decorated to your liking. We also have chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal, meringue, and coconut macaroons. Gingerbread available during the Holiday Season.

Established in 2011.

Chola Desserts was created by Janeen Salcido, a.k.a. DaPuffyChica in 2011 with the hopes of bringing her passion of baking to the masses. Janeen started baking for fun in middle school. maannnyyyy moons ago… and as the years passed it just seemed like a better idea to create a unique business. and POOF. here is Chola Desserts!
